My goodness man, that is one beautiful car! I am currently starting to upgrade my 2012 5.0 and seeing yours definitely motivates me for what I can do to mine. Sweet ride man and be safe and enjoy the hell out of it!!:)
Gorgeous ride! I own a 2016 Oxford White -- V6 because I'm a new grad whose on a tight budget lol. I love it, but I envy yours! Beautiful machine, man!
+Kelley D. Cadungug, MA thanks! Check out my video on the V6 if you haven't. And feel free to post pics of your ride on my FaceBook page: facebook.com/planetp51
+kyle syrett, thanks! How soon are you getting it? They're coming out with some new colors for the 2017 model year and also discontinuing some of the existing ones. But, I don't think red or white will be affected.
as I was watching I was like I know ive seen this exact same setup, you were at the C&C in va beach last Saturday! love the look, I haven't done anything cosmetic yet to mine but I supercharged her and you are right DTP with Brent is amazing guy and only one I trust to tune her.
I scoped out RPI designs a few days ago...thanks for vouching for them...I may go that route. In the meantime I'm going check with a few paint shops in my AO to see if they can do the job and possibly save myself some coin...keeping in mind you get want you pay for as the saying goes. Yo I gotta tell ya your covers look super sweet on your whip... keep pushing out the high quality videos for us out in Stangland... Many thanks!
Maybe you could do a video on all your add ons with where you got them and options you added. Where did or how did you paint your engine area. Was the jlt intake any louder in the car. Oil separator relocated looks like you mocked it way to the side. Where did you get that kit? Etc etc. thanks for your info.
Im starting to like white cars more and more now, thats a slick GT. I have the black one in premium too. Im on the fence about which exhaust to get. Do you get any drone with that setup? Also can you make fly by videos so we can hear how it would sound driving by? Did you sell your stock wheels?
There's nothing wrong with an automatic. Especially since they have paddle shifters now. I've had two mustangs with manuals and it gets old and inconsistent especially for daily driving.
Very Nice clean ride man. I saw your other videos with a dash cam set-up. Noticed you had turn signals on your hood. Is that a factory option/feature or a mod? (Seems like a throw back to the classic cars back then)
+Mike, thanks! The turn signals in the hood vents are standard on the '16 model year. But, they sell after market kits for the '15's. It is indeed a throw back to, I believe, the '68 Mustang.
Don't know when I might come up to Virginia beach again but we gotta meet up and do some pulls and race. 2016 Base GT automatic 3.55 gears shadow black 19" rims. Mods: MBRP Catback, JLT CAI, Dyno tuned.
Awesome mods man!!! What type of paint did you use under the hood for the custom white look...and when you bought the outlaws did you have to have get the factory sensors out of the stock tires put into the outlaws??
+lilhugh01, thanks! I ordered the parts painted from rpidesigns.com. I ordered the wheels and tires together, so they came installed with the sensors in them. I just had to buy the reprogramming tool to match it to the car. I bought them from cjponyparts.com
Excellent job on the mods and a really nice looking ride. I just ordered my weathertechs and shift ball for my 2015 Black GT. :) Hey, maybe post some links to your vendors?
+Michael Slocum, thanks! I have all of my mods listed in a spreadsheet, so I'll update the description to this video with the links. Thanks for the suggestion!
+Michael Slocum Since you have a manual (which I LOVE) i dont know if I should get a automatic for the auto start feature (yes lazy guy here) That shifter just seems RIGHT PERIOD? My GTI is a stick!
+Mike Smith I love the manual. The auto start is nice if you will really use it. Also, its easier to jump on it with the auto because of the short tork band (5k with a redline around 7k). But...if you like winding through those gears and the looks that follow...get the stick. My next one will be the auto with Premium but I LOVE MY BASE STICK!!!
Oxford white. Plan is to do black side mirrors, roof, hood heat extractors, and a large ducktail black spoiler. Since I work in service at the dealer, I'm practically my own warranty administrator. So it's going to be perfect all the way to 36k. Then comes the supercharger! I've already ordered a few things from American muscle. I want to get the Corsa 3" catback too. oooo so many things to buy lol.
Can you provide a link where to Buy Those Caliper Cover , Stripes, Black Pony, Emblems? I am getting Eco-Boosted Basic Model this weekend. I am wondering if I can replace HORSE Logo in the back of my car just like GT model?
+Tao Pham, links are below. You can replace the pony on the rear decklid. Or you can just replace the whole decklid and do solid black. Caliper covers: www.americanmuscle.com/search?keywords=caliper+covers&generation=2015-2016&VehicleType=Mustang Stripes: www.americanmuscle.com/hood-decal-accents-black-2015.html Pony/Emblems: www.cjponyparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?product_model_type=Mustang&product_year_mustang=2016&q=black+pony
2015 stang, have a Bama tune not installed yet. what difference did you see? and what happens when u put in sport mode or track mode. also with out tune .when u sport move it changes throttle response. what happens when u have a Bama tune on. in sport and track???
I actually didn't have the Bama tune on for very long, I ended up getting it Dyno Tuned. But, after my transmission broke, I decided to not put a tune back on it. To answer your question though, with the Bama Tune on I noticed quicker throttle response, similar to putting the car in Sport or Sport+ mode. When my car was tuned I never used Sport or Track mode. But, the people that I know that have their cars tuned have said that it still basically does the same thing, improves throttle response further.
Yo Big Timer, did you get your coil covers and intake cover painted at a paint shop, or did you order them online? I'm pushing a 2016 Ruby Red GT Premium and I'm looking to have my covers painted if it's possible to have them painted and withstand the heat of the engine compartment. What advice do you have for me?
Nice name! I got the Ford Racing coil covers which come black. I think they're powder coated. But, I did have some painted coil covers on my 2012 GT, I got those from AmericanMuscle.com. All the painted parts that I have on the '16 were ordered from rpidesigns.com, I haven't had any issues with them.
Dude everything looks great, just one question though. It's regarding the tune, and the car being new. I had a 2014 Mustang before my new 2016 and I still have my tuner but I'm kind of afraid to tune this new car. What's your opinion on this? Obviously you tuned yours, but are you worried about the whole warranty situation? Thanks!
+Swagasaurus Rex, personally I'm not. But, the guy who tuned my car is also the same person that developed the tune for the JLT intake. He tuned the owner of JLT's GT350. I wouldn't trust just anyone, for sure. I haven't heard of any issues with people having their warranty voided due to a tune. But, you should proceed with caution if you're worried about it.
My mods are: carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber trunk, roush cold air intake, roush quad tip axle back exhaust, mmd abs back window louvers, mmd side louvers, V8 Ford racing badge in the back instead of the GT badge, RTR grille with LED accent vent lights, nice black rims, all my lights are tinted black and minor cosmetic stuff.
+Dingyi Duan, thanks! They are Roush scoops and non-functional. They come on a lot of the Roush stage 1-3 cars, so I doubt they increase drag by enough to be noticeable. But, I don't race my car so it really doesn't bother me if it does increase drag. But, trust me, the car gets up and goes!
+Tony Johnson, to be honest, I don't pay much attention to MPG because I live only a few miles from work. So, it isn't really a concern for me. My tires are 275/35/20's all around.
+vex, I switch up the music on my different videos. However, the music for the "30 Mods" video is actually one that people request I use more. But, as with everything, people will have different opinions. Thanks for watching!
+16P51-GT ohh you tuned it? I didn't noticed that, I was reading that adding an intake won't do nothing it's all just bs so I doubt with only an intake an exhaust it will make a difference but at the end of the day it's still a v8 and it's still faster then the majority of cars in the road 👍🏻
so last week my grand Marquis was rear ended. which now has forced me to duck tape the trunk shut. fun fun. my questions are how does the mustang fare as a daily driver. gas isn't a big problem for me but is the mustang comfortable and fun to drive. Do you enjoy the community?
The newest model Mustang's are extremely comfortable to drive and a lot of fun. Some of it depends on the options you get, but I have the Premium package with heated/cooled seats and the overall interior quality is a big improvement over earlier years. It's a more refined car. The community is great! I've made a lot of new friends since getting a Mustang and there are tons of aftermarket parts out there so you can customize it a million different ways. But, I always recommend people test drive it first to see if it's for them. And sorry to hear about your car.
I am a new subscriber and have really been enjoying your videos! Car sounds great and I really like all the mods you have done so far! What percentage is your window tint?
Dude the car looks awesome... I think that's the Oxford white color... I was looking at the platinum white which is not as white as the Oxford.. So now I'm looking at the magnetic metal grey... California special
Nope, I had my transmission replaced under warranty when my car was tuned. A tune doesn't void the warranty, the dealership still needs to prove that the tune or any other mod caused the failure to occur.
+A gm (snowman) yes. Although it's not like putting a supercharger on obviously. But, you can tell the difference in sound and performance. You'll get better results from a CAI that requires a tune. But, right now I've opted not to have a tune on.
+Ashton Sumner, yeah I may take mine back off and reinstall it when I have the time. I'll have to see if there are any other videos out there already first though.
16P51-GT Okay cool. The videos I have seen are mostly for the manual and the ones that are for the automatic are not very specific on the instructions. Thanks. :)
+Britney Stinson, mainly for the looks. And at the time I didn't plan on getting it tuned. Although, I did end up getting it dyno tuned later. Which I would recommend no matter what CAI you go with.
+Britney Stinson The AiRaid is probably the best CAI for your mustang but I have recently heard that it will cause issues with your warranty. The dealer would legally have to prove that the aftermarket part caused your car to fail...but why subject yourself to that possibility. I was ready to order the AiRaid but then decided on the Roush. Mainly because it deletes the sound tube but also because you can use it without a tune and then remove the insert for that 36,000 tune. :)
Why didn't you black out the GT badge on your rear deck lid? I hope this is a manual transmission! Automatics are for those who don't know how to shift
+Marko Liu, mainly because everyone is blacking out the GT badge and I want to be different. My car is an auto, but it's not because I don't know how to shift, it's because I have a bad knee.
I was just driving one day and it wouldn't go above 10mph. Took it to the shop and they eventually found that something in the transmission broke. I still don't know what caused it.
+Sam Scornaienchi, no it technically does not require a tune. However, when I took it to get Dynotuned, the guy who tuned it said that it was running a little lean. So, I'd probably still recommend a tune. But, you can get by without one.
+Rene Garcia, combined with the X-pipe and tune, yes. The difference with just an intake and axle-back exhaust is noticeable, but to a lesser extent. So, at the end of the day, I really think the most noticeable difference will come from a proper dyno tune.
+carlos castillo, by definition it is a "mod" or modification, since it's a change from the original. It's not a performance mod, obviously, but it is in fact a modification because they replaced the originals. But, like you said, people are different. And, it's really all semantics. But, for the price of those mats, I'm calling them a mod. :-)
+carlos castillo The Ford trunk liner is not only cheaper than the Weathertech and it looks better because it has a pony in the middle. And yes you are correct I don't consider mats a modification.
I didn't paint the actual reservoir, it's a cover that I ordered. If you're asking why I added the cover, because I didn't like the look of the plastic. However, I've now switched to the Mishimoto Coolant tank.
+16P51-GT no yeah I meant in for when you were in the tunnel but other than that clean ride. I test drove a while back a 5.0 stick and dam!!!! 3rd gear @5000rpms Lowkey I jizzed my pants haha made my mustang feel like a punk bitch haha.
+Dr Panchod, thanks. I think the plain plastic engine covers are boring so I wanted something different. But, I don't expect everyone to like all aspects of my car, or any aspect of it really. I just mod it the way I like and if others like it too, great. If not, then I respect their opinion, but I'm not doing this for anyone else. Thanks for checking out my video.
+16P51-GT nice , what size tire you running up front? , I'm thinking about trading my 14' 5.0 in for a 16' I have some rims there 20x10 as well , just wanna make sure they fit the s550
They should. But, I think it depends on if your car will be lowered and which springs you go with. The wider the tire, the taller it is. So, if you go with 295's you'll probably want to go with the Pro-Kit or equivalent. The sport line kit may be a little too low. But, I don't know anyone running 295's so I can't say for sure.
+mgspw13, hey, thanks for watching! Good question. I have a bad left knee, so it's uncomfortable for me to operate a clutch. It sucks, but I still have fun with the auto.
Oh, trust me it does the job very well! Two of my brothers have Mustangs with manual transmissions and they have driven my car and were pretty shocked at how it performed. I may have to post some footage of my brother in NC driving it for the first time.
yea I was wondering bc I see that you get two choices with the auto. The 3.15 and the 3.55. I'm interested to know how this change affects the cars performance with the auto.
From the research I've done, it appears that you can identify the type of gears you have from the sticker in the driver side door jamb. If the codes I found are right, I do have the 3.15's
If u want to know for sure, on the drivers side of the axle tube underneath not for from the diff the ratio is on a sticker. Or if you still have the window sticker from the dealer it's on there.
+1234zcrom I suppose it would depend on how they are engineered. The ones that I have divert heat away and up through the top of the calipers. www.calipercovers.com/faq
+matthew andrade, thanks! I should probably add an annotation to the video because I've had to address this a few times. But, I have an auto because I have a bad knee and can't operate a clutch.
how much crap do you get for an automatic bro? I don't get it the car belongs to you not somebody else if you like it what business is it of someone else anyway again sweet ride. looking to get stuff for mine soon
Not as much now since I've addressed it a few times and did a video specifically about it. But, you'd be surprised how upset people get about cars that they don't own.
+Joel Zalmanowitz, haha! I've addressed this a few times already. But, I have an automatic because I have a bad left knee and can't comfortably operate a clutch. I still love my car though! :-)
+16P51-GT Yea I hear you. I drove tractor trailers long enough to get a bad knee due to using the clutch so I ended up learning how to power shift. Great car though, I'm in the process of putting a rear window louvre on my S550 so I can appreciate all the hard work that goes into modifying a car. Keep up the solid work man!!
+Joel Zalmanowitz, thanks! I was looking at some rear window louvers. I probably won't add them, but I liked the design of the one that I saw on AmericanMuscle.com
+16P51-GT Yea, I have lots of mods planned for my S550 but for me my car is under warranty so I don't do a lot of the work myself so as not to void any warranties which adds a lot of cost into any mods that I do. I love those wheels to death and will definitely be looking into purchasing new wheels and tires next summer. I didn't opt for the premium or anything and I find the 235's that come stock spin way to easily and cannot properly put down all the power of the engine to the tarmac.
+Simply Bella, sorry to hear that. I have a bad knee. So, I can't operate a clutch. But, I still like my car and my subscriber base is still growing. Can't win them all, I guess.
My goodness man, that is one beautiful car! I am currently starting to upgrade my 2012 5.0 and seeing yours definitely motivates me for what I can do to mine. Sweet ride man and be safe and enjoy the hell out of it!!:)
Thanks!
Today I just bought a Black '16 GT with Performance Package. Can't wait to start modding it!
Congratulations! Check out my "Must Have Mods" videos and the Anchor-Room.com Vinyl install video. Might see some things you like!
Gorgeous ride! I own a 2016 Oxford White -- V6 because I'm a new grad whose on a tight budget lol.
I love it, but I envy yours! Beautiful machine, man!
+Kelley D. Cadungug, MA thanks! Check out my video on the V6 if you haven't. And feel free to post pics of your ride on my FaceBook page: facebook.com/planetp51
like all your vids! I just bought a 2017 GT in Grabber blue a month ago. Looking for inspiration. I like all your mods. Keep modding and posting vids!
Thanks for watching! And congrats on the new GT, Grabber Blue is a nice color!
you made that stang perfect like really you literally just built my dream mustang! Amazing i hope mine will look like that sometime!
Respect!
+Isaiah Deshazier, thanks man! Send me some pics of yours when you start modding it. I'm always interested in seeing what others do with their cars.
Amazing! You made it through that god awful tunnel without traffic! Nice ride.
+Richard Jerome, thanks! Yeah, I try to avoid the HRBT at all costs. I got lucky that day!
wow guy you went all out. looks and sounds great.
+Chris Baskett, thanks!
Love your mods and you got a beast of a Mustang.
+09GT500, thanks!
Your car is on point man, cannot make up my mind on getting a red or white one.
+kyle syrett, thanks! How soon are you getting it? They're coming out with some new colors for the 2017 model year and also discontinuing some of the existing ones. But, I don't think red or white will be affected.
I miss that tunnel since I've been living out here in the west. Nice mods!
Thanks! I love the tunnel when there isn't much traffic. But, during rush hour it's a mess.
16P51-GT I remember all too well. lol
Super clean, looks amazing!
+Jonas Bennett, thanks!
Nice car bro. I have a blue 15gt and absolutely love it. Very nice
+Sam Scornaienchi , thanks! Yeah, they are a lot of fun!
as I was watching I was like I know ive seen this exact same setup, you were at the C&C in va beach last Saturday! love the look, I haven't done anything cosmetic yet to mine but I supercharged her and you are right DTP with Brent is amazing guy and only one I trust to tune her.
+Phillip Morales, Brent is definitely the man!
ok. thanks. so with Bama tune. the throttle response in sport and track mode was even more??
I scoped out RPI designs a few days ago...thanks for vouching for them...I may go that route. Yeah, RPI Designs is legit. They take a long time to ship though. Thanks for watching!
Maybe you could do a video on all your add ons with where you got them and options you added. Where did or how did you paint your engine area. Was the jlt intake any louder in the car. There's nothing wrong with an automatic. Especially since they have paddle shifters now. I've had two mustangs with manuals and it gets old and inconsistent especially for daily driving.
Agreed, the paddle shifters make a big difference since you can take control if you want too. A lot of people forget about that fact.
Holy shit bro. Thats sick!
+james waterbasin, thanks!
Very Nice clean ride man. I saw your other videos with a dash cam set-up. Noticed you had turn signals on your hood. Is that a factory option/feature or a mod? (Seems like a throw back to the classic cars back then)

+Michael Yang, let me know when you come. I don't race mine, but I know some guys who will run with you.
Awesome mods man!!! What type of paint did you use under the hood for the custom white look...and when you bought the outlaws did you have to have get the factory sensors out of the stock tires put into the outlaws??

Hey, great looking car with all the mods you put on there. Where did you get the Ford Racing windshield banner and the hood accent stripes? Thanks
+Mike Lindblom Thanks! I got the banner from CJPonyparts.com and I got the hood stripes from AmericanMuscle.com
+16P51-GT Cool I appreciate it, your Mustang looks like a completely different car. Keep up the great videos!
+Mike Lindblom, thanks! I appreciate the compliment.
Excellent job on the mods and a really nice looking ride. I just ordered my weathertechs and shift ball for my 2015 Black GT. :) Hey, maybe post some links to your vendors?

Great looking car man ..nice build !
+Willy Dayton thanks!
Damn that engine compartment looks great with those painted covers.
+tlaroze, thanks!
Nice looking car man!
What kind of paint did you use in the engine bay & and has it faded any?
Thanks, I ordered the parts pre-painted from rpidesigns.com. And they haven't faded at all.
Awesome mods I like what you done to your whip
+AJ Summers thanks!
I ordered a 16 Gt with Perf Package last week. Got D-Plan on it, but I have to wait like 8 more weeks till it's finished!
+Warhawker, cool! That'll probably be the longest 8 weeks of your life! Haha! What color did you get?
Oxford white. Plan is to do black side mirrors, roof, hood heat extractors, and a large ducktail black spoiler. Since I work in service at the dealer, I'm practically my own warranty administrator. So it's going to be perfect all the way to 36k. Then comes the supercharger!
I've already ordered a few things from American muscle. I want to get the Corsa 3" catback too. oooo so many things to buy lol.
+Warhawker, haha! Yeah, the list of mods never stops!
These are the best rims from the S550 mustang.
Where do you get all this money to mod your car?
I'm a Manager at an IT company.
Can you provide a link where to Buy Those Caliper Cover , Stripes, Black Pony, Emblems? I am getting Eco-Boosted Basic Model this weekend. I am wondering if I can replace HORSE Logo in the back of my car just like GT model?

Car is coming along very nicely!! Are your engine covers RPI ?
Yep, I got them from RPI Designs.

did you have to get camber plates after the eibach Pro-Kit? And should you get a chance check out my 16 automatic...I'd like to know your thoughts
No, camber plates weren't needed. I'll definitely check your car out!
Hey man love the painting in the engine bay. What kind of paint option did u use? Is this possible to do at home?
Thanks! I ordered them painted from rpidesigns.com, but if you have the right equipment I'm sure it could be done at home.
Cool, I've been subscribed to his channel for awhile, I'm originally from Virginia Beach.
+GA08GT, oh really? That's awesome! He helps me with a lot of my mods. He put my stripes on for me.
Dude everything looks great, just one question though. It's regarding the tune, and the car being new. 16P51-GT awesome, thx for the reply
No problem, thanks for checking out my video.
After the dyno tune and the few engine and exhaust upgrades did you notice a drop in mpg? And what width tires are you running?
+Tony Johnson, to be honest, I don't pay much attention to MPG because I live only a few miles from work. So, it isn't really a concern for me. My tires are 275/35/20's all around.
Different music next time
+vex, I switch up the music on my different videos. However, the music for the "30 Mods" video is actually one that people request I use more. But, as with everything, people will have different opinions. Thanks for watching!
good job. what is up with the oil seperator I've being seeing that mod a lot lately
It helps prevent sludge from building up. Definitely worth the money.
NICE BRO OIL SEPERATOR WAS ONE OF YOUR SMARTEST MODS HAVE A 2016 GT WITH LOTS OF MODS BUT THIS IS YOUR PARTY BE SAFE
+16P51-GT it's cool man. thanks I went and drove one today it was great
Cool!
+Trolling For Soup I'm ordering one
I am a new subscriber and have really been enjoying your videos! Car sounds great and I really like all the mods you have done so far! What percentage is your window tint?
Thanks for subbing! My tint is 35% all the way around.
Dude the car looks awesome... I think that's the Oxford white color... I was looking at the platinum white which is not as white as the Oxford.. So now I'm looking at the magnetic metal grey... California special
Nice!!! Sounds great
Thanks!
You got 1 mod you didnt mention (or im blind)
the pumps for holdind the hood up what are they called ?
+Jimmy Bamps, it's Mod #7, the Redline Tuning hood struts.
I must be blind then ... Thx
+Jimmy Bamps, no, I should have used a closer shot for that particular mod to make it more apparent.
Beautiful car! Do you know if any of those mods void the factory warranty?
Thank you. None of the mods that I have will void the warranty.
I thought for sure if you tune your car, the factory warranty is voided!
Nope, I had my transmission replaced under warranty when my car was tuned. A tune doesn't void the warranty, the dealership still needs to prove that the tune or any other mod caused the failure to occur.
Does the Airaid cold air induction really makes any difference?
+A gm (snowman) yes. Although it's not like putting a supercharger on obviously. But, you can tell the difference in sound and performance. You'll get better results from a CAI that requires a tune. But, right now I've opted not to have a tune on.
Can you try to make a video on how to install the gt350 wheel on an automatic car?
+Ashton Sumner, yeah I may take mine back off and reinstall it when I have the time. I'll have to see if there are any other videos out there already first though.
16P51-GT Okay cool. The videos I have seen are mostly for the manual and the ones that are for the automatic are not very specific on the instructions. Thanks. :)
Ah, got it. I'll try to knock it out this weekend.
16P51-GT Thank you I really appreciate it
+Ashton Sumner just FYI, I'll be doing the video today. Will be released this week.
Gosnold Hope Park in Hampton, VA lol. Home sweet home!!!
+Craig Perkins, yep! I grew up right down the street from there. A lot of memories!
+16P51-GT Sweet!!!!
I wish my 2015 pp gt was automatic, I only drive it a few months out of the year so it’s not bad and kind of fun , but next car is automatic for sure
why'd you go with Airaid for the CAI over other companies? I'm just curious bc I'm looking at giving a CAI/tune to my girl
+Britney Stinson, mainly for the looks. And at the time I didn't plan on getting it tuned. Although, I did end up getting it dyno tuned later. Which I would recommend no matter what CAI you go with.
+16P51-GT what's the difference between dyno tune and a tuner like ngauge?
Nice. But an automatic?
+Lucas Andrews, I've responded to that a few times. But, I have a bad knee. I can't operate a clutch comfortably.
have a few questions are all 4 of the wheels 20x10?..how much did you lower it and does it rub?
Yes, they are all 20x10. I went with the Eibach Pro Kit, so it's lowered 1.1" in the front and 1.0" in the rear. And, it doesn't rub at all.
+16P51-GT oh ok kool what size tires do you have on them?
275/35/20's
Clean ride! Is Mustang Jones your brother?
+GA08GT , thanks! Yeah, he's my older brother.
I just subbed and I pickup my 2016 GT tomarrow
+larry miller awesome! Thanks for the sub and congrats on the new GT!
awesome build man
i have some similar mods planned for my 2015 GT PP
+Tony Mutschler, thanks! When you get yours set up, send me some pics!
will do
How much did you spend in mods alone? I might be putting mods on my aunts gt
Currently, over $15k. But, I've done quite a bit since this video.
It's a 2016 GT! What was wrong with the transmission if you don't mind me asking!
I was just driving one day and it wouldn't go above 10mph. Took it to the shop and they eventually found that something in the transmission broke. I still don't know what caused it.
Faulty transmission control module, happens rather often in newer model fords
Did you have to retune the car with that airbox?
+Sam Scornaienchi, no it technically does not require a tune. However, when I took it to get Dynotuned, the guy who tuned it said that it was running a little lean. So, I'd probably still recommend a tune. But, you can get by without one.
What's the percentage of the window's tinting ?
+Sergio Garcia, the state of Virginia allows vehicle tint to be no less than 50% in the front and 35% in the rear.
+16P51-GT thanks a lot man !
+Sergio Garcia, sure no problem!
Serious question bro do u feel a difference on power with the exhaust and intake? The truth
+Rene Garcia, combined with the X-pipe and tune, yes. The difference with just an intake and axle-back exhaust is noticeable, but to a lesser extent. So, at the end of the day, I really think the most noticeable difference will come from a proper dyno tune.
Only mod I kind of detest is the caliper covers. The rest is dope....
+eclypse3d, thanks!
+16P51-GT white is such an easy color to accessorize too.... you can murder it, go high contrast colors, just lots of options.
Yep, there is a lot that you can do with it. That's why I like it. I can switch up any time that I want and do something completely different with it.
Where did you get the brake covers?
I got them from AmericanMuscle.com
Thanks
No problem.
Nice Job!
Thanks!
to me the weathertech mats is not a mod its more like an add-on but thats me everybody has a different way of calling/saying it
+carlos castillo, by definition it is a "mod" or modification, since it's a change from the original. It's not a performance mod, obviously, but it is in fact a modification because they replaced the originals. But, like you said, people are different. And, it's really all semantics. But, for the price of those mats, I'm calling them a mod. :-)
+16P51-GT Yes! Thats a FACT!
+16P51-GT its an awsome mustang tho I like the black and white color combination on it
Thanks!
+carlos castillo The Ford trunk liner is not only cheaper than the Weathertech and it looks better because it has a pony in the middle. And yes you are correct I don't consider mats a modification.
why you painted the water reservoir?
I didn't paint the actual reservoir, it's a cover that I ordered. If you're asking why I added the cover, because I didn't like the look of the plastic. However, I've now switched to the Mishimoto Coolant tank.
nice...
White hot Mustang GT!
+Jeremiah P , Thanks!
Nice GT....
+Kevin bond , Thanks!
don't say it..greased lighting..dammit, I said it..looks sharp,,man.
+Slim Stickly, LOL! Thanks!
how is your Bama tune working for you
+corey blacksher, it's not. I took it off and had it Dyno Tuned :-) ....ruclips.net/video/Eco5kgtVaMU/видео.html
Clean ride. But honestly would of been better if it was manual trans specially in the tunnel could of don't a sick ass pull in there for sure
Thanks. And in terms of it being an auto: ruclips.net/video/_y4o3ig_P7g/видео.html
LOL! Yeah, I know what you mean!
Very tastefully modded, I find the painted engine covers a bit tacky though. Awesome ride nonetheless!
Thanks for checking out my video.
the rims are 20x10 all around ? they fit up front?
Yeah, they fit fine. A lot of people are putting spacers on to simulate the look of wider rims. With these, you don't need spacers.
+16P51-GT nice , what size tire you running up front? , I'm thinking about trading my 14' 5.0 in for a 16' I have some rims there 20x10 as well , just wanna make sure they fit the s550
275/35/20, I also have the Eibach Pro-Kit installed and it never rubs.
+16P51-GT pretty impressive ,you think 295s would fit ?
They should. But, I think it depends on if your car will be lowered and which springs you go with. The wider the tire, the taller it is. So, if you go with 295's you'll probably want to go with the Pro-Kit or equivalent. The sport line kit may be a little too low. But, I don't know anyone running 295's so I can't say for sure.
Did you keep your sound tube?
+mitchell allard I did, but mainly because I was too lazy to mess around with the firewall. It doesn't really bother me though.
+16P51-GT i took mine out was curious if there really was a difference.
The sound tube just feeds more intake noise in to the cabin. But, after installing an x-pipe, I hear my exhaust more than anything now.
How come you didn't get the manual?
+mgspw13, hey, thanks for watching! Good question. I have a bad left knee, so it's uncomfortable for me to operate a clutch. It sucks, but I still have fun with the auto.
+16P51-GT
That's too bad :( I do hope the automatic serves you well.
Oh, trust me it does the job very well! Two of my brothers have Mustangs with manual transmissions and they have driven my car and were pretty shocked at how it performed. I may have to post some footage of my brother in NC driving it for the first time.
Thx I was hoping you would respond so I could hit the button on my order!!
No problem. I'm digging your all white grille and calipers! Nice!
20X10 all wheels?
Yes, they are.
damn... not sure if my 2011 5.0 can take 20/10 at front
Hey man what gears does your car have?
I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure they're 3.15's
yea I was wondering bc I see that you get two choices with the auto.
Yeah, I looked on the window sticker but didn't see it on there. I may look on the axle next time I'm under there. Thanks!
make more videos!
+Zion Stephens , Will do!
nice car:)
Thanks!
nice. caliper covers r a bad idea though. do some research and let me know... maybe i'm wrong.
+1234zcrom I suppose it would depend on how they are engineered. The ones that I have divert heat away and up through the top of the calipers. www.calipercovers.com/faq
Husky Liners
Job well done. Just disappointed in automatic
+matthew andrade, thanks! I should probably add an annotation to the video because I've had to address this a few times. But, I have an auto because I have a bad knee and can't operate a clutch.
+16P51-GT sorry about that bud.
It's cool, I still enjoy my car!
how much crap do you get for an automatic bro? I don't get it the car belongs to you not somebody else if you like it what business is it of someone else anyway again sweet ride. looking to get stuff for mine soon
Not as much now since I've addressed it a few times and did a video specifically about it. But, you'd be surprised how upset people get about cars that they don't own.
Your only mistake was buying an automatic sports car.
+Joel Zalmanowitz, true. The tires do make a huge difference. I can't wait to see what mods you do, you'll have to send me some pics!
All good except bama...
+Jafet Pretel, I had it dyno tuned since then. I even did a video on it! :-)
+16P51-GT thank god lol
+Jafet Pretel, exactly! haha!
+16P51-GT how much was your dyno tune boss?
It cost me $350.
I stopped watching after you said it had an auto.
+Simply Bella, sorry to hear that. I have a bad knee. So, I can't operate a clutch. But, I still like my car and my subscriber base is still growing. Can't win them all, I guess.
I was just being an ass. In all honesty watched the entire video. Beautiful Mustang.
+Simply Bella, thanks! It's cool, I know manuals are the preferred choice.
Automatic lol
I've already addressed this: ruclips.net/video/_y4o3ig_P7g/видео.html&lc=z12mhzpj5qbuud5lh23axl3rek2isz32a
