I ruined this connector by replacing the screen too fast and bent the teeth. Needs replacing. How much does this cost to repair about and how can I find someone locally to fix it? What do I search?

HI, What temp do you go down too to attatch but not melt the plastic?

It's different for every hot air station...and the distance from tip to connector also plays a factor. I'm at 400C with an air flow of 17. It's a slow melt, so it usually takes maybe 2 minutes. Any faster and your heat is too high. Any slower, try holding the tip closer to the connector.
