I'am sooo proud of me, that i have bought this Concert on Blu-ray... I don't really hear Jazz music. The one and only Song from Diana i know before was "let's face the music and dance"... I think, that i have Seen this Concert between 80 & 100 time the last two years... It is Unbelievable...🤗🤗🤗😘😍🥰❤️ Stephan S., Germany
Baby your Interpretation of this classic,is amazing!!!Sinatras versions are wonderful, and all the old timers,I think this song was written for you…. Thanks, Vinny
I think this is the best solo performance (originally written as a longer duet) I’ve ever heard of this classic song. Krall’s husky and sensuous vocals backed by herself on piano and light, lush orchestration really set the mood for this wistful song about deja vu and romance. Other versions by Sinatra or Peggy Lee were great in themselves but suffered a little by overproduction and loud orchestration that drowned out the singer to a degree. This version really hit the spot.
@@biriyaniferrari165 I hadn’t seen it. Interesting version - unpretentious vocals and more edgy instrumentals. I still think Krall’s version is the best but I like this one too. Thanks for sharing.
+maureen1938 And so it seems that we have met before, And laughed before and loved before, But who knows where or when... Thanks for your kind comment on "Where or When". Have a wonderful day, Frank.
I was just singing the praises of a compatriot, Diana Krall for "the best live performance" of a song by "any singer, male or female." Next up this day at RUclips was this offering -- a rendition Dick Rodgers and Larry Hart would have loved. I think this is my favorite of Diana's live concert videos -- opening, as it does with a scene from the world's most famous long beach, "Copacabana" (two-and-one-half-miles long, and large enough for The Rolling Stones to perform there for 1.5 million fans. Pope Francis' first World Youth Day the closing Mass, attracted twice that number, 3.2 million. Pardon the aside). At this moment it is summer in Rio and most days, the beach looks just like this -- the opening scene for Diana's delightful take on WHERE OR WHEN (another gorgeous Claus Ogerman arrangement, from her "Live in Rio" concert). There's something wonderful about a candid camera at a beach -- catching people at play, unawares, artlessly capturing The Good Times. Yes, THESE are the good old days.
Another Wonderful Post!! but it isn't a secret for you that i'm already in Love with Diana ..... Emmm.... mostly with her music and voice LOL!! a shame i ain't got enough thumbs to say how much i liked that video!! Thank you so much for the share.... Have a great week-end my friend ♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪
Hey merci bien, mr. lecknertal..!! good job !! well done..!! thanks a lot for sharing this pearl with us..!! Does anyone out there believe in reincarnation..?! I guess that's all this song is all about..!! You meet someone you never knew before somewhere.....but deep inside of you it seems like you already met that someone in the past time...do you get my meaning..?! This is one of my favorites songs, among so many others from the old school..!! God bless you..beautiful...!!!!!
And so it seems that we have met before, And laughed before and loved before, But who knows where or when... Thanks for your kind comment. Have a wonderful Sunday, Frank.
Copacabana -- world's longest, most famous, most beautiful beach. 2.5 miles long -- large enough for a Stones' concert with 1.5 million spectators; twice that number, 3.2 million for Pope Francis' World Youth Day Mass. Pardon the aside. Just posted a comment of my own this day with a note about the beautiful opening to this video. Thanks for your note, Ella Eranthis.
Oh how I love this song and Diana ❤! She expresses all the emotion and mystery of love. I love sharing this with my own love….
This is a great arrangement! The soft background instrumental tone really compliments the vocal.
Wonderful arrangement and personally phrased. Brilliant orchestra with superb singer. Marvelloys.

Respectfully disagree, in part, Lee's version is a masterpiece. DK's version is a brilliant interpretation, bravo.

It’s such a great song. Peggy Lee’s version is the peak but Krall’s version is also memorable.

We've been here many times before.
It's not about any reincarnation..it's about Love big difference.
Yes, best song ever written about the deja vu experience we'll all of us had. Like 'God coincidences.' Thanks for the note, distant thunder.
Magnifique, mais cela ne me fera jamais oublier la version sublime de Peggy Lee...
Mrs. Elvis C....or Mr Diana K....beautiful
Yes, he is Mr. Diana Krall. Lucky fellow!
beautiful song! what beach is that at the beginning?

Jeff Hamilton!!!
I've always thaught only black women had the voice to sing. Guess I was wrong. Here's the proof.
Not a fan
Harry Connick's version is much simpler--this one is too overblown and pretentious.
Goddess ❤️🙏🏼
