And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. Thank you for the reaction! Forestella has been around since I believe 2018. They aren’t technically a K-pop group they’re a classical crossover group. This song was a fun song they did for fans because one of their music videos got over 900,000 views (I think that’s right) this is a fun catchy song but is definitely out of their norm for music. They perform a lot of covers and have their own songs as well. A few of my favorite covers are “Despacito”, “Scarborough Fair” and “Time in a Bottle”. (My personal Forestella bias❤) They did this song and video as a thank you to their fans for hitting a high mark on one of their originals, Save Our Lives. Its all in good fun. FORESTELLA (forest/stella Italian for star) is not a “Kpop” group. They are a Korean (classical) VOCAL group (no rapper) and their genre is CROSSOVER. They constantly change genre and style or mix them more or less. This time it's a "foray" into pop and at the same time they're keeping a promise to their fans. I like the sound, it's full and puts you in a good mood. And the singing is, as always, top notch (although the uniqueness of the voices is partially lost due to the te"chnique used). And you probably know them for their spectacular versions of "Bad Romance" or "Despacito." or their originals "Utopia" or White Nights". I also recommend their version of "MAMA (by EXO). It is highly praised even by Exols.
They are known as the king of harmonies. All four of them sing and have wide vocal ranges. They were crowned king of kings 6 consecutive times on immortal songs. Since they are a crossover group they cover many genre’s and many languages. They have exceptional vocal techniques and are considered to be one of the best quartets in the world today by many analysts. Please do a little more research on them .
