In 2011 I made a series of videos called Animated Anarchy on Blip. Now that they've taken down my videos I decided to post them here.
The first episode takes us back to the wonderful antics of the cartoon Bobcat based on the video game.

This was the video that led to the creation of my channel, getting me off my ass and inspiring me to review the very first Bubsy game on the Genesis. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be reviewing game at all, so thank you.

The creators of the Bubsy games apparently said that they *hated* this cartoon pilot because they felt that it was a miss interpretation of the character.

Any reason WHY it never past the pilot? It was terrifying! After watching this, I'm GLAD it's in animation hell (a place for animated cartoons who never made it past the pilot) with the likes of the DoozyBots (which would've caused serious damage to Sunrise's rep), and Battletoads. Animation quality was at a decline when video games came around..
It's a real shame doozyboots sucked too, because SD Gundam wouldn't be so frowned upon by many american Gundam fans if they had actually done it right... then again, there WAS SD Gundam force, but that series took a bit too long to get serious so anyone on the fence would probably stop watching by then, and I doubt many american Gundam fans even gave BraveBattleWarriors the time of day...
The vultures voice is the only one that doesn't make my ears bleed.

Why in God''s name would the one cat want to marry Bubsy? I know the cat reporter was supposed to be stupid (though everyone was in this) but even then, why? Why would anyone? The games were bad enough, but dear GOD! This was atrocious! Why am I questioning this? This pilot had no reason but I can't help but question this.

Loved the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, loved MegaMan, loved the Legend of Zelda cartoon, HATED BUBSY! Even as a child back in the day, I knew Bubsy was crap, and I still adore things that most people consider "sick and wrong".

Okay the Mega Man one was kinda decent.

Yeah. But then again Classic Megaman in that is a wisecracking teen hero instead of the kind pacifist he normally is
zangetsu134 Yeah but he isn't a trigger happy psychopath more concern catching the criminals than protecting the innocent (as far I'm aware of XP) If your going to do something different with a character's personality, don't degrade the character.

There was a Battletoads pilot that also went no where.
I wouldn't say they're stock footage gags. To me, they're actually real life footage gags.
considering the source material for this pilot, that's pretty much the best they could achieve

you're taking me back Andrew way back to 3 years ago I always hoped this would take off but it never did so when I heard you were doing a new show E heros I felt obliged to subscribe and keep watch I hope this show comes back so many new things both good and bad have reared their ugly heads if you ever decide to bring this back to life I recommend " the Groovians" be warned it makes bubsy look decent by comparison

I have a feeling two people who were making tv shows were talking to their boss about their new show. The first person was like:
"Hey Boss check out this cool show I made, it's a remake of that weird Mega Man show but this time it isn't stupid!"
The Boss who was smoking on Weed looked at the man and shook his head.
"Nah that won't get the children's attention at all."
Then the second person came in and was like
"Hey boss check it out I made a show about an annoying cat with an ANNOYING pun that's against armidillos and his niece and nephew look like something that would be spawned by Hades."
The boss was all like:
"Great! This is the most amazing thing I've seen in my entire life! We shall put it on air as soon as possible without thinking through all the plot holes, what could possibly go wrong?"

Not bad! It's a fun little straight forward review show. I do think the camerawork is kinda weird. Can't tell if your camera is shaking or if you have some auto camera stabilization you're adding in post that's making it look like the room is shaking around you. Either way you should probably work that out. Also, the whole style kinda takes after your good buddies at TGWTG, especially NC. I'm sure in time you'll find your own voice and style but I think I could probably swap your scripts and not even notice beyond the lack of yelling in yours. Overall a fine show, but needs some originality (which admittedly is really hard nowadays so good luck).
This is from 2011. He's improved a lot since then (not that this was bad, it's just better now). He mostly reviews video games now.
Augh, that's what I get for not realizing it's a rereleased video. Apologies.
Most likely what was happening was an in-camera stabilization, which some camcorders feature, which tries to maintain a constant tracking on a person's face when it shifts around.
This is fine if the camera is moving around a little, but not if it's meant to be a lockdown shot.
Unfortunately, trying to correct it afterwards would have probably been more problematic than just keeping it as it was, especially for what is a rerelease

i think the bubsy piolet is 9000 times better than the bread winner piolet and bubsy piolet is still shitty and i give it a 6..5 out of 10 and a 7.0 is passable but this piolet is not that shitty compare to spongebob s5-10 and bread winners and sam and cat

I really don't think this cartoon is THAT bad. And I think everyone else hates it just to fit in with a trend and to look cool. But its just a cartoon among a bunch of others during the 90's period. and I HAVE actually watched the show and still don't think it's bad. Its ok in my book and I don't care what anyone else says.
