I wear mine to the beach all the time and have gone snorkeling with it. Honestly this watch proves how great Casio is. We talk about the G-shocks being good and oh they are. But the F91W is in a class of its own in terms of how great of a watch it is.

Because my watches aren't synced to the seconds to begin with. I used it for reference to show the hour and minutes for proof that F91 didn't die inside the fridge and I didn't fake the test

For the shockproof....I don't know about others like but I tend to drop my things often and my watches fall off the table and bang against objects more often. This is where Gshock comes in handy

I don't know why Casio advertises f91 as just Water Resist. It's much more capable than that.
It's only a water resist because it won't be able to handle pressure more than 30 bars Unless you do a Hydromod and fill the inside with oil

They are mostly all same expect some gold variants have gold tinted LCD instead of the regular Grey LCDs
