Well another Farmall H followed me home in mid April 2024. It's a 1949 wide front end H very similar to my 1940 Farmall H. In this video I drive the 1949 Farmall H to the upper woods and do a quick introduction of the new to me tractor. I'm not real happy how the H is running yet but I recently rebuilt the carburetor and still need to do some adjusting. The wiring was completely redone and mechanically the Farmall H is in real good shape. The steering is nice and tight and works well. There is a slight leak on the right side rear axle housing that will need to be addressed but that will be a winter job. The tires are in good shape with the rears showing some checking / cracking. They should last quite a while. Nothing real fancy on this H as it's just your basic Farmall H. There's still quite a bit of work to do on the H that will happen over time. Well, that motor sounds good and the tractor don’t have any smoke or nothing done good
