Thank you, Sir. People like you spend the time to share your knowledge and experience.
The absolute best video on how to adjust your garage door on youtube!!! Thank you sir
OMG this video saved me $130 service call! Took me a whole 5 min to fix! Thank you so much!!!
Excellent tip about stopping the downward travel about an inch before hitting the ground. That’s crucial to keeping stress off the mounting bracket. My mounting bracket busted because someone who said it wrong and I had to reinstall it. This pro tip really saved today! Thanks, Danny
Danny, it's rare for me to find instructions on exactly what I need to know. Your video was exactly what I needed to finish installing wiring on the ceiling for my new table saw. Great Job!
Omg... Such a great tutorial. I live how you didn't take forever to explain useless stuff.
Thanks for the tip about stopping the downward travel just above the floor. Your video is the only one that I saw that mentioned that. One video said you can use both arrows to fine tune the stopping points.
the power glitched out while the door was in travel then it started to freak out if not for your video i would have been out of pocket $150 thanx you saved me $150 bucks
Perfect explanation! Fixed my garage door issues in under a minute
Danny you saved me at least $167 for a call charge they wanted for a 5 minute fix that you showed us. Also helped with the down door stress on the mounting bracket as mentioned before me.😀
Thanks for the tip about stopping an inch above the ground. That solved my GDO issue!
Thanks! Your video helped me fix my door travel without paying for a service visit! I appreciate it!
Short, accurate, and to the point. Excellent!
Terrific video. Helped me fix garage door issues in less than 10 minutes and saved me a lot of $$ for a service call
This info is still relevant in 2022! Thanks for the video!
Thank you man!! The installer had my door SLAMMING shut so hard.
Perfect instructions for what I needed, Danny. You were short and to the point. Totally loved my problem. Thanks again!
Thank you for your video. I finally fixed my garage door. Excellent instructions and I learned a lot.
Thank you. This video was a help. My opener started behaving funny following a power outage. One thing I will add, if you have an opener with a battery backup like mine and you’re trying to completely reboot, the unit you will have to pull the battery. I was going through the same sequence as on your video, but not getting the same result. So I figured a reboot would be a good idea. I unplugged the unit, but then remembered that I had a battery back up. It wasn’t until I disconnected the battery and then plugged the unit back in. Then got it to behave the way it should while resetting it.
Hell yes! Thank you man I was able to fix my garage door with this video! Saved me some $$$$$
Thanks For the Easy Instructions man
Garage door got froze to the ground in the winter and messed up the calibration. This helped me fix it in 5 minutes. Thanks!
Thanks! I replaced my garage door seal and ran into this problem. This solution saved me money.
THANK YOU much! Grateful for your instructions…
Great instructions! Got mine adjusted after 3 attempts 😁
Had the opposite problem where it only closed 1/4 way. Used the button setup accordingly and the garage door is back in order, thank you good sir!
FYI folks.....great video in deed.... However if you go up and down to many times to set the limits the motor can get hot and protect itself and shut off. I learned the hard way to wait 30 min and try again after the repair man was out telling me nothing was wrong, but it was over heated lol.
The 1/2 horsepower motor must be a Shetland pony instead of a Clydesdale horse.
Simple and to the point! This video really helped, great job.
First video that came up. Straight to the point and I nailed it on my first attempt.
That's slick, because I'm troublshooting my opener and when I saw that YELLOW COBRA! I have an 04 Mach1 lol
That’s cool. I also have a 2003 Mach 1 and stories on them ruclips.net/video/c9KxDNMTufQ/видео.htmlsi=vCXd0rAOwlxmx_DA
Straight and to the point, thank you Sir!
Perfect! Following your instructions solved my problem.
Thank You So Much For Posting This !!!!! Perfect Instructions !!
Neat explanation for a layman to understand. Thank you Danny!
aw,,0 ,,
Video was extremely helpful. I replaced the T bar seal on the bottom of the door and the door wouldn’t stay closed. I followed your video to the letter and bingo! It now works perfectly! Thank you very much.
I have a gap on the bottom of the door how do I fix this
@@urheiness7 Sorry, but I'm not the guy you should be asking for advise on your gap at the bottom of the door; I'm just a guy that followed the instructions provided by the video. I suggest you either ask the video provider your question or look for a video that talks to 'gap at bottom of garage door'.
You're the hero we deserve!
This was literally exactly what I needed, thank you!
Bro!! You’re a lifesaver!!! Thank you! Easy peasy!!!
Omg - you saved my day man!! Thanks a lot for sharing.
Thanks. Straight to the point.
Thank you!! our garage door is bowing, and I am hoping this will help solve the issue!

Short and very useful video
Thank you for sharing the video it was very helpful, I appreciate it. Thank you
Great instructions worked out perfect.
Thanks for the video. I had an issue where the trolley was jammed up against the safety bolt on the rail close to opener unit. Had to remove the chain altogether to release the tension between jammed area and sprocket, and tried this adjustment. It did not register the up down limits properly. Found from this video and the liftmaster manual, that the trolley should be taken closer to the door and attached to the arm so that the calibration should always begin when door is closed. Setting the limits from door in closed position worked great
This exact same thing happened to me - however, I am able to set the upper and lower limits - but on the test run (final 2 steps) it travels up and stops at the open limit (opens) and then on traveling down (closed) it goes about 1/3 of the way and stops - giving me an audible alert of 5 beeps. I have verified that there is nothing binding, in the path of the door closing - and everything appears to be adjusted EXACTLY as my other garage door (10 feet away).
Any advice?
This is exactly what I needed for mine. Thank you!! 🙏
This is exactly what I’m looking for.
You fixed my excessive force error. Thanks!
This also works for the side mounted opener. Thanks man

Nice tutorial and nicer Cobra 👍🏻
Thanx for posting this!
Thank you so much!!!! Worked perfectly
This is great. Because I let the down area nearly touch the bottom. But on the down it still goes a little bit. I will try this.
Completely lost concentration when i saw your Terminator 🤤😩🙌

Thanks a bunch. I did that and it worked.
if i just wanted to adjust the down position. can o just do that or do i need to do both?
Thanks. Great vid. U the man.
Great video!
Most excellent! Thank you.
Perfect thanks. Can't rely on apt maintenance to do anything right.
Dude thank you. I was soooo annoyed. My garage was only closing like two feet lol.
Awesome just fixed a garage door gap!
Thank you so freaking much!!
Thank you very much.
Very helpful. Thank you!
Oh, hey Aaron 👋🏼
Perfect, thank you.
What if I only need to adjust how far up it goes? It's already going down fine so I don't want to mess with that. Thanks!
Thanks so much!!
Great video. Only question is I do not need to adjust the door going down, I need mine to come up about another two inches. and is perfect right now going downward. Following what you did, will it then cause a needed adjustment lowering it? I mean do I need to do the hold down arrow when closing it to that whole step you did or just hit that middle button to remember the new up setting and thats it. Thanks.
You’ll only need it to adjust higher up if it’s over-closing. Your mounts may be higher to where full close position is correct. Mine is too low so it kept pushing
Thanks!
hey man wanted to tell you guys to have a safe and happy thanksgiving. in case you dont post another vid before then
Thanks! You too 🙌🏼
Thanks for the video. It helped me 100%. I just bought this home the previous owners didn’t give me the code for the pin pad. I wanted to reprogram it and also reprogram the 2 controllers.
It has a second attached garage. That one doesn’t have a pin pad but I only have 1 controller for that one. I don’t know if they lost the other one, if it only comes with 1 control or if they took the other control. That’s why I want to reprogram everything. Do you have a video on how to do that?
I have a few programming ones. I think the only one that talks about erasing old ones is for the car ruclips.net/p/PLIjr-uSYDZi5xpo7t07I8aY2FnZcPEq_W&si=plVSeWITV7cpU5gd
Thank you...
thanks so much.. You save me a lot of frustration and maybe even a marriage
I have a chamberlain and I think I need a travel module a/o logic board replacement.I’ve done the troubleshooting codes but to no avail.Any suggestions?
Thanks 👍👍👍

My garage door won't open fully, and the distance is maxed out I'm not sure what to do
