Trying a few things out here. Thinking about surf rock and that slightly spaghetti western vibe (which I've dabbled in a little bit before) but just blending it with a post-apocalyptic wasteland type of ambience...Thinking of doing more of this cause I did enjoy the process. Also drew my pone in a vault suit just cause. Thanks for listening, stay excellent 💙 Видеоклипы
strong Night In The Woods vibes
Creepy ambience and chill beats lofi music to relax and pone to
Hello commander, welcome back
holy hell that was a long wait. good to hear you back.
He also did a track with 4everfree recently. Check it out if you missed it: ruclips.net/video/OTZXqqARIPY/видео.html
This is exactly what I mean ^
I'm happy you stuck around c:
I swear I heard this song from my dreams at one point.
New P@D album = new Replacer song! And it never disappoints.
You're damn right.
Glorious.
Total experimental awesomeness.
Im listening to this via a satellite uplink i built from parts i found, and running it all from a battery i charged earlier from my solar panel.
Sitting here under the moon, in the middle of nowhere, this song makes me realize just how far away from civilization i really am.
Thanks replacer, you have once again created a masterpiece that i can connect with on a very personal level.
that method of delivery sounds very appropriate
Ya know, I still listen to a few of your songs. They're all on my super-long playlist. Gotta say, it's cool to see that you're still producing stuff.
wow no words was my fave back in 2014 - throwback!
Fades in... dust, echos as far as you can hear.
A light twinkling that sounds off...
Suddenly you hear a radio fade in... and you can imagine the wasteland around him, in the radio even, as you can hear the scratch in the speakers struggling to play. He explores and empty world, wandering aimlessly, and it picks up, a sense of loneliness in the music...
Eventually the radio fades just like the echos did before it, and it goes to dust and wind
Yo this is dope! I haven't been involved much in the fandom recently, but I was in the middle of a dream and remembered this nostalgic song that I used to listen to a lot, but for the life of me couldn't remember the name of the song, just remembering the picture on the video for the song Song For An Earth Pony. And I was trying so hard to find it, until I suddenly remembered and woke up right after and came here
First I fall in love with your 80s synth track "Hello commander" and a few days later you publish a fallout-like sounding song (especially the intro). God your work is wonderful and should appreciated more :>
Awesome!!!
Thank you
good music. cute horse. well done.
I am so glad I discovered you. I've been listening to this on and off for a month or two now, and I can't believe I'm only just now figuring out you were going for a fallout vibe. I frickin love that stuff.
Man, it's always amazing to find cool niche brony artists like you.
I'm still listening.
Replacer, I will have you know that it is always worth the wait when you post something new. It's always a pleasant surprise. I think the beginning part of it went on a little bit long, personally. I get that there is a lot to be said for atonal and discordant music, artistically, but by the time it cut over to the jazz number, I was starting to think that that was all it was. When you did get into the jazz number, though, I literally started getting up and dancing, with my eyes closed, and I had a happy thought that, when I opened them again, I would be in New Appleloosa, where I know I really belong. Bravo, maestro.
I had an earlier pass at this where the initial part was quite a bit shorter, and it just felt...tacked on? I didn't want to remove it, so I decided to lean into it more instead. Glad you liked it in the end ^^
I absolutely love the first minute and a half of this song, especially.
thanks, I hoped it would be at least tolerable but I didn't expect it to be anyone's favourite part ^^
Love this track soooo much, it's SO unique with that progression, this is exactly the kind of experiments I LOVE to see!! What you created is a stunning, gorgeous, creative masterpiece. And that guitar and organ are so blissful
How'd I miss this?
Welcome back Replacer
Oh my gosh! How did I miss this!?
2012 "No Words"
2018 "Still No Words"
2024 "Even Now No Words"
2030 "Eternally No Words"
As always, absolutely amazing.
Loving this and seeing Replacer in the Fallout Equestrian world! Long time fan. Keep em coming!
That pone looks like a pegasus version of P-21 :p
Great music btw
The variety of music you can create is incredible. Well done!
You are one of my biggest musical inspirations up there with SimGretina and WinterGatan, please keep doing what you do
doin my best to keep it going.
@@replacerThank you so much for keeping it up.
Impressive styling, wonderful sense of dissonance with a lovely finish, more wonderful work from my favorite musician
Absolutely beautiful
Fucking love the bells and the overall atmosphere is just
mmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
VERY well done again!
can't hate a replacer track, this one no exception. good stuff.
Im always happy to see an upload from you
Glad to see you back!
1:02 reminds me of the music that plays in Vault 15 in the original Fallout. Oooh it's been too long since I've played that or heard from you.
You make music unlike anything else I've ever heard as a whole before. And it's VERY clean. Good to hear from you again.
I think this is my favorite texture from all of your music.
this ambience track is really mistery, i so much love the progression in it, from something lost, to a kind of discovery, nice work
wow it has a lot of interesting sounds
the atmosphere was downright AMAZING from the very start, it's so great to hear you again
That drawing is also really cool!
I just really wanted to see my oc in one of those outfits, I think it suits him
It does! :3
Not sure if this was even a genre before now, but you've sure conquered it. Glorious as always! Thank you!
I'm calling it 'post-nuclear surf rock' but others might disagree
@replacer Sounds like an apt description to me.
It's really good!
Damn son, just gonna flex on us with the first half that sounds straight out of an early 70s floyd album?
Oh man I really like this. The title also brings me back
yay I don't often hear that my oc is cute
This is really cool. I can see myself wondering the wastes with it.
very nice work keep it up
I wasn't sure if I was going to like it until 1:30 in.
And it ended-up being great.
kind of haunting, yet has this funky mystery, yep, this is the wasteland vibe
Well this is... not what I was expecting. I like it
Kinda out there, but the good kind of out there
Something about this just gives an uneasy vibe.
Fking amazing
Nice!
Cool
Really super cool c:
no you~
That's great...
Thank you/
i like it
Wow I haven't heard you since 2013 when you collabed with Aviators on You Found Me.
Loving this song, can't wait to hear more and check out your back catalogue c:
nice spookie ambiance.
Weird, i love it
A kinda silly melody, but dark and emotional synths
Feeling the Fallout vibe, there. Stable 13, eh? Hehe.
Hiya, Replacer! Hope things are going well for you. :)
Fallout: Radiant Texas
Okay. Well. This was interesting. I liked most of the first half for the eerie ambiance. I liked the second half for the oddly upbeat tune. But I think the first half should be extrapolated into more of the stuff in that part. And the second half could be extrapolated into more of the second part. I think the second half kinda ruined the eeriness of the first part.
All that stuff out of the way; I have played Fallout 2 and 4. I liked that the first part reminded me of the ambiance soundtrack of Fallout 2, with its desolate, abandoned feeling. I'd prefer this as a soundtrack for the fan made Fallout: Equestria video game project that's going on. (The name of the project was changed due to nervousness about legal action or something, but it still clearly reflects the post apocalyptic pony land nature of the setting. There's even a group of music people making music for the game, called the Wasteland Wailers. I uh … don't really like their style of music. Maybe because I don't like Country music, and it reminds me of that.)
I definitely know of the wasteland wailers :) thanks for the feedback, agreed this tune is a bit of a weird procession of things
good ª_ª
Do you take commissions? Also I was wondering if I could use some of your songs in my art timelapses, only small segments so ppl don't get the full song on my channel.
you absolutely can use my music as long as you link back somewhere. as for commissions it's kind of a case by case thing for me but I'm very happy to discuss ideas. your art looks great by the way c:
@@replacer Thanks! I'd of course link back especially at the beginning and end of each song if that's how anotations work Lmfao as for commissions I'm working on an animatic that might need music? I'm not sure yet xD
@@phoeberia2734 sure I get it haha. Just flick me a message over dA or somewhere whenever suits ^^
Did you read the Fallout Equestria?(FoE)
If you didnt, then i highly recomend you do. Maybe it can inspire you for more songs or melodies
From the artwork I think he did know about FoE. I don't know how many chapters it got though.
I haven't read any of the fanfic but I know who some of the characters are from artwork and such. I love the original Fallout and its ambient soundtrack (that's why I put a 13 on the suit) so I thought it would be a good visual for this track once it started taking on those influences
@@replacer I KNEW IT! I sounds so much like Fallout 1 at the beginning!
it's the bells
@@replacer it IS the bells.
And I do see the 13!
I actually got into Fallout thanks to FoE. I'm also VERY glad that I didn't skip the first 3 games (including Tactics) like I know a lot of people have. But then again I still haven't finished the very first game yet. Still waiting to do that, but I LOVED it when I played.
So is this a sequel to No Words? Lol.
one of several in my opinion
Wow, waterphone?
quite possibly! I'd have to check it again to be sure
Why I feel a bit of Beatles vibe?
The bit from 3:45 on definitely reminds me of "Free as a Bird".
A really interesting composition hiding behind an overly protracted and not-that-attractive intro.
I love the intro since it reminds me of the original Fallout game.
I knew the beginning of this wouldn't please everyone so I'm actually happy to see it's getting some love from Fallout fans
I usually love your stuff, and I know this is experimental, but it was really disappointing
sorry to hear that! hopefully the next thing makes up for it
@@replacer i really like this one though
