Just to clear a few things up:
1. I'm not the girl who's talking in the video.
2. I realize I may have missed the first 2 minutes of Strobe and caught Faxing Berlin instead, sorry! If you've ever gone to a Deadmau5 show, you know his transitions are smooth as butter and I might not have noticed an earlier fade-in to Strobe.
This song is what hope sounds like. Its an anthem for my generation, i just love it so much, its a perfectly orchestrated piece of music.
Coincidentally this song cued the end of this era of electronic music in Toronto. Hasn't been the same since.
Love Strobe so much.

There was something about the late 2014 to 2016 era of deadmau5. It didn’t last long and I can’t quite put my finger on what it was but there was something special about it.
I sincerely hopes he releases this. One of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever heard..even if it is coming from a phone recording

How can they be talking?? I remember being in a deadmau5 concert hearing strobe and I just couldnt speak in awe, I was totally floating, it was so dreamy... and they are talking and screaming inside that beauty of sounds.... omg i just can't... Joel please release an official version of this, It's way too good to be ruined by pop morons.
I was at a concert a couple of months ago, it was of this nordic folkish band thing called Wardruna, and at one point in one of their amazing songs there was a break in the music, and it was just dead silence. You could hear a pin drop it was incredible. Instant goosebumps. I'd assume something similar would happen with strobe, not the fucking hooting and hollering you hear here.
Definitely agree that it's annoying, but this was at the very last night at the Guvernment ever, and one of the biggest moments of the night with thousands of people packed into that room. No room to move ANYWHERE so I imagine they were just making the best of the situation - tickets sold out in seconds for this show, so I'd say they're mostly real fans.
Tecnically it's only like 15 minutes of Strobe

To all the people making comments about it being lame to stand there with a camera for 20 minutes or anything negative against the taking of this awesome video maybe notice the almost 50,000 views in maybe 20 hours and yes its not studio sound get the fuck over it it was recorded on personal equipment inside a nightclub from the dance floor. I'm just happy to hear this epic version before a better copy is released !!
