SoundRadix seems like such a unique company. Every plugin of theirs I’ve seen offers something I’ve never heard of before that’s obviously useful.
Incredible! I've already used this to almost completely eliminate hi-hat bleed on the snare track.
This is the 3rd manufacturer that Mr. Worrall has turned me on to that I've bought. Great tutorial. Just purchased, and can't wait to try it.
I had to look up all the videos I missed to watch from Dan and there I am sitting here, the chin dropped - that was 2015? What? Never heared of Sound Radix before. What a fail from me. Need to check these out!

Great demo, Dan. You've really got a knack for this.
I've been testing this for a review, and it also works great on breakbeats (my primary rhythmic currency). Not only can you single out specific drums and make them louder, softer, wider or narrower, but you can get really creative with the dynamics, making each hit have that "analog VCA snap" spike, or give a bit of "upwhoosh" leading into each hit, to bring out the air in the break. It's also great when you do things like filter or flange snare drums, and they all end up being different volume levels. This plugin lets you catch them all and bring them in to be equal. You can achieve this in other ways, sure, just like you can manually do lots of things in a wave editor - it's just super quick, clean and precise.

Finally a plugin that will allow me to wrap foley texture around drum sounds in a very accurate way. This easily has the best envelope follower and it's great that this is the main focus of the effect unlike say shaper box which is also great but no way as good at that specific job

Who the hell are the people that voted thumbs down on this hahaha. It's an amazing tool and very intuitive. The tutorial by Dan is great too.
I just purchased. I have a little question. What if i have a drum loop where i want to lower the volume of a snare only but the Kick is „pocking out“ more more than the snare or in other words the snare is not the loudest part at least not optically . Can i choose a lower volume sound than the most obvious-louder hits and work on that? When i use the target level i feel like the whole loop is being processed and not only the hits i chose
You bet. Just use the High Threshold to filter the louder kicks from Drum Leveler's operation and the Low Threshold to filter out soft sounds that you do not want to lower further. Drum Leveler will only process the audio range between the low and high thresholds. In addition (or instead depending on your source), you can also use the side-chain band-pass filter to hone in the snare beats.
I am excited to try it out. I hate plugins that have a steep learning curve but somehow interesting things always have this in common ....

i think i'll use the volume slider on a drum channel instead...yeah, it's that simple
yeah why use a tool that can do it for you when you can just enjoy wasting hours and hours for writing automations for every drum track!
