Jacob Poeltl is a big time under the radar center trade target. Every team that is trying ti win could use defense. Rob Williams defense is also good, but his health negates his value completely. And Valenciunas is an offensive threat, but he doesn’t move the needle much.
Jacob Poeltl is a great option, having a great season. I heard on one of these podcasts that Toronto doesn’t want to move him now. Could just be haggling but he is under contract for two additional seasons at 19.5 mil and a decent age (29 ish?). Pretty sure Rob Williams iii is Portland just playing the game, unless maybe they do find an Ayton buyer.
Hey Trevor, I seen a video on Zion Williamson's contract and how the pelicans can possibly release him to avoid paying him bcuz of the clasues in his contract. They can also trade him, do you guys see any team taking that risk?
Because Valanciunas is that much of a difference maker 😄 The Nuggets need a lot more than a veteran backup C, dude - they need a 3&D wing since they lost KCP and they also need a scorer who can create his own shot like B.I or Zach LaVine. Just adding Jonas isn't going to win them a championship, dude.
@dmitryowens I remember when Giannis and Joker were both severely under used. Even Steph Curry. They looked a lot different. But Rob isn't getting him anyway. The Nuggets will get him and win and you will ignore that Jonas was a big help. The Lakers clearly deserve Koloko. What a terrible front office and fanbase.
@andremiller1566 Did you just compare Valanciunas to Giannis, Jokic and Curry? LOLOLOL! He was never close to that level, even in his prime and he's almost 33 now.
@dmitryowens You don't comprehend what you read apparently. I said they were once severely under used. Before Giannis was given the ball like he was a point guard, he was a nobody in this league, the same for Joker. Those are undeniable facts about 2 now generational players who were both (disrespected) drafted as far down as 17th. A lot of players are never properly utilized in this league. Valanciunas almost certainly couldn't have reached those heights, but still, he's been severely under used. He's much better than some seem to believe. He's just used as if he's a talentless hack.
Robert Williams would be a ridiculous gamble for a team wanting to contend to take, ie the Lakers, other teams with less of a "win now" imperative? then yeah, sure, of course
Fellas I’m just waiting for the announcement the Lakers are trading for a center, wing and point guard. That will be a wonderful day for us Lakers Fans!!!
Outside of Knecht and AD I don’t think other teams would be too interested in the rest of the Lakers team. If the Lakers would dodged the LeBron bullet and kept that core they had, even with Lonzo’s career becoming ruined by injury, would have been a lot more competitive at this point in time. Hard to imagine the Mickey Mouse ring was worth all this.
@@mosin9349 You know how i know you're not a real Lakers fan cuz you just referred to the 2020 NBA championship as the "Mickey Mouse Ring". Thats Laker hater propaganda, also how many rings does Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Josh Hart have combined? Oh yeah that's right they have a collective total of 0 NBA Championships. Your comment is garbage whataboutism
I think part of this is a messaging attempt to drag down the value for players like Vucevic and Poetl. Vuc can play 30 plus minutes a game for 80 games a year. This is part of his value that might not get talked about enough. Even when he's playing bad, he's going to give you a double-double with some assists and a steal or two.
Valanciunas is better option, Rob Will is way too hurt. You don’t ’fix’ every issue with one deal. Lakers need to get JV (Obviously) & a 3&D guard or wing.
Is not that Valanciunas is a bad player but he can get played out of the floor so easily and Robert Williams III is good but he spends like 70% of the season injured or more. If anything I would take Nick Richards he is 27 Years old, can block shots, athletic, he is not an elite level player but he is really good for a back up center. Also if teams are so worry about salaries then Nick Richards salary is amazing 5M this year and next year another 5M and that one is not even fully guaranteed.
Valanciunas i would pick over Williams lll. That’s only because of Robert Williams lll injury history. For my Lakers you can’t bring in any player with a history of getting hurt. That would be detrimental to the Lakers!!!!
just trade rui ,hayes and jhs to the wizards no picks for jonas and a bad contract in richaun holmes . those 2 are your centers to back ad up . if you're worried about the 3 spot call portland and ask for toumani camara (a 1st and max lewis ) can get that deal done . this team with those tweaks is a championship team

Jonas & RW are prime trade targets in that their contracts are relatively low and can be had for seconds and matching expiring contracts.
Rob SleePelinka has been in concussion protocol too. Since the Lakers last trade. #FirePelinka

I get the injury concern. Just don't hold concussion protocol against Rob, that's different
Rob doesn't have to do anything. He won't be fired. The Nuggets will get Valanciunas and win the title.

I wouldn't say that - he averaged 17/12 in one season in Memphis and 18/11 in another.
JAKOBE POELTL, is expensive, but
Worth it.
Valanciunas would be good as a backup on the Thunder or the Grizzlies. He could probably even be a starter for Memphis.
Agreed. Nice touch around basket. Defense gets covered by Jackson at the 4

Lakers have very little attractive assets. They are screwed.
Too bad it's not happening

What’s actually Rob Williams health issue? Or he’s just made of glass?
If you could get 40 games out of rob then its not even a question....robs defense is way higher than anything portle does.
I'm surprised Clippettes have not gone after Val , just because Lakers are interested 😅😅
Valanciunas is better option, Rob Will is way too hurt. You don’t ’fix’ every issue with one deal.

VALANCIUNAS, is very slow footed, and no defense.
Lakers aren’t gonna make any moves and Rob will say there was nothing he could do
My hope is another team trades for Jonas so we can stop trying to trade for a bad fit.

this team with those tweaks is a championship team
Trade Ayton to the Hornets. But Keep LaMelo, Miller, Grant W, Salaun. We need another retool
🤯🤯🤯 Once again, Pelinka waited too long to make a move and now other teams are interested too🤡🤡🤡
Wizz are in no rush to make a move would have had to overpay to force their hand
Not good for robert williams injury prone get vucevic and valinciunas
I totally get JV
But not Zion junior william boy
He’s injured all the time and he’s way overrated
Robert Williams is a joke
yall said availability matters and yall are taking potential of rob williams smh
It does, but upside also matters.
@ Inconsistent with talks of Zion/Lonzo/Gary Harris other players with injuries history there is entire segment focus and talk of injury history
