Sorry, I dont get the hype about these types of bars. They are not a bull bar, they are a bumper bar replacement. If you want your ute to look great while cruising the local woolies, carpark, then they are perfect. But if you actually want some protection from animal strikes, forget it. There is a reason why "traditional" bull bars sit further from the vehicle and thats so when you hit something, the bar has room to move back on its mounts, absorbing the energy and protecting the rest of the vehicle. These types of bars dont afford that kind of protection. This isn't a criticism of Piak. The presenter actually tells the true @1:54 "Bumper off, bumper on" Having said that, if you're in the market for a little more protection that what the standard bumper affords, this look like a great alternative and a very easy swap. Some other brands require quite a bit of modification of bodywork, so this looks great in that regard and it does really suit the looks of the DMax
