@@nouralnajjar5804I have just changed the trip computer to record MPG each time I fill tank up. The past 2 weeks show an average mpg figure of 54.7 which is pretty impressive 😀. The MPG falls by 20% in the colder months to an indicated 47.7 mpg. One long run of 60 miles I got an indicated 80 mpg which is the best yet. 👌
@@nouralnajjar5804 Getting 54 mpg after 4,000 miles. Best figure 81 mpg on a long run being very careful and nudging her into full electric when on the flat or downhill. During winter the mpg decreases by 20%. My mate has a 2 litre diesel and it returns about the same mpg. Not sure if spending £32,000 on a new hybrid makes sense..... maybe the clever thing to do is buy a diesel for £23,000 and save £10,000. Diesel cars are not fashionable but they return good mpg for fraction of cost of hybrid.
Your reviews are simply brilliant. The way you come across - it’s like having a chat with your best friend - thank you! Can’t wait to see the updated video with the fuel figures you manage to obtain.
You would have to pay at least another 25% to get a similar 4wd competitor which would be more expensive to service and likely to be less reliable. A great value vehicle
Been looking for replacement for 9yr mk7 golf. Prices have me floored in Ireland. I love golf seats, comfort. Waiting time crazy for new car. Some dealers very laid back, not pushing or chasing you for deal. Like they have this years orders all in. I like the look of this car. Cheers Mark.
Got one two years ago today. Been well happy with it. Excellent mpg today I got 62 mpg on the dual carriage way. Great engine, I have the 1400 manual turbo boostjet.😊
I have one of these coming on lease. It was the best value for bucks I could find in a hurry for short term. I don't usually purchase a vehicle without trying but due to the shortness of time I had little choice. Thus I found your review to be very helpful, informative & interesting also a bit reassuring. Thank you.
Really considering this exact spec and colour as my first new car at the end of the year fingers crossed. Was looking at the top spec version with the extra tech but when I went to the dealer and sat in the back seats I couldnt sit up straight at all due to the sun roof and had to bend my head to the side. Come from a tall family (I’m 6’2’’ myself) so would be a pain to drive them anywhere in the back. Looking forward to your review soon living with it for a week.
If I was in market too buy hybrid then i buy it. know few people who have Suzuki crossover and they in no hurry too change. noting exciting but do basic right and reliable , this is probably best looking Suzuki crossover i seen and at 32k. worth it compared to over price other brands.
I have had my susuki s cross automatic for three months, its has been back to the machanic more times than I have actually driven it, they dont seem to know what the problem is after it being in for 3 weeks, still trying to find out.i got this car on motorbility and befor this had a kuga. I would not recommend this car have been very dissapointed with it.
Interesting review. Like the colour and no sun roof which comes with the ultra model. Big bonus in the back seats for height which is an issue for me and my likely passengers. Can’t make my mind up re the auto and manual gearbox, any comment would be helpful as I’m seriously looking to purchase later this year.
Am I right in saying this is in the same class as a Tucson and approx 10k cheaper? Had a lend of a Tucson for a couple of days recently, its a very nice car and well specced, but cant imagine its 10k better. This looks classy in that colour. What kind of standard equipment do you get on this 32k model?
Spec sheet says 108mph top speed with a 0-62mph in 12.7 seconds. Sounds slow but feels decent. On paper it's slower than my old mk3 ecoboost 1l focus but it definitely feels a little faster.

I'm getting up to 51 mpg in summer and 48 mpg in winter from my Suzuki S Cross 1.5 Hybrid. Done 2,000 miles so far. 😊
Hello, I've just seen your comment! I'm planning to buy one now! Do you still recommend it? Did you face any issues?

I notice the 1.4 has more horsepower than the 1.5 which is a Toyota engine which they fit into a smaller car.

Thanks Gary. Good honest car to be honest.
Great review, when it comes to modern car features and pricing I feel less is more, Japanese build quality at Dacia prices, great left field option.
Well said!

Glass usually does take some space out of the height alright 👌🏻
at last........ a car where I can't complain about the prices.!! was looking at a Jimny today, quirky.
They're cool alright

Lovely car - looks great in that blue.
You can find the rear seat USB next to the middle seatbelt
Very nice review. Thank you 👍
This would be a great alternative to the Tucson

what was the issue?
in Ireland i believe it's "2 fingers" if they aren't courteous :D
The direction of the hand is crucial ...!
Great .What's the price
Yep, you can't argue with 32k for a brand new car. Love the lack of touchscreen rubbish 👍👍

I think for a car like this, let the auto do the working
Thanks for the comment, it’s making me think as I’ve always had manuals. But I’m open to the idea.
You should review the clio hybrid?

Everything mentioned, everything you see in the vid. Tucson probably a little roomier.
Does this spec come with satnav?
It comes with a roadmap.
How do you lock it
I think it's keyless.
A no-nosense run around that'll probably be a very cheap ownership experience
How is the speed of the car,i meen 115 hp is not much for such a big car

Great review !
I own one în previous generation. Can't fault it.
Manual down shift for going down steep hills old skewl but safer
But it's ear muff noisy at 65 mph
Perchè Suzuki non consegna in Italia!
What Suzuki still makes car?
Because I don't see car or motorcycle.
