a couple more clone things to add, basic clone can dash dance if you mash b causing him to go back and forth between aggro and defense. most people are probably used to clone moving directly at them or away from them and it can be another point to confuse your opponent. also side special can be used to call your clone to your rough location by quickly tapping it while he's not in range. this can be used in between stocks to reposition your clone, or as a pseudo method to get super clone to move like a defensive clone. sometimes super clone rushes in and dies immediately so it's nice to be able to call him back if need be.
Great video! I was able to figure out a lot of this over the course of the demo, but, since the game currently tells you nothing, I was unaware that normal clone also responds to B presses or holds. Also, that shield break combo is sick.
Great vid dude! Super concise and the visuals are top notch. Also when you are in the air you can hold special to force the clone not to jump. This can be useful for ledge trapping by forcing the clone down for a gimp and covering above the edge with forsburn prime. Then off stage it can be used as another recovery mix up. Subbed and can't wait for more stuff from you!
That guide was super helpfull. There was ton of stuff I had not event the slightest idea about. When the full game comes out I´ll make sure to adapt that into my gameplay
I was a rusty roa1 forsburn main and when i went to roa2, i forgot about the hold neutral b so thanks for reminding me, im gonna take note of all of this
As a veteran Forsborn player since Rivals 1 I honestly didn't even know about the holding b tech until a few days ago lol. But other than that luckily Forsburn is pretty straightforward excluding being tricky with clone and smoke, so if you are new to him I recommend testing using cape to get people to do bad habits like rolling and covering the roll with down smash or other moves that can put them into bad situations. Sometimes people freak out when getting caped not wanting to get hit by the second hit and end up putting themselves in a bad situation that you can take advantage of if you read their habits.
All the characters in the game are fun to play, I'm still learning as much from everyone as much as I can Clone setups look sick and I might stick to Forsburn for longer than I thought
Great video! I had no idea how to use clone effectively up until now but I feel like this could really help me improve my gameplay! A quick question if you don't mind since you seem to be a good forsburn player : what throw do you usually use if you grab your opponents at low (0-30) percent?
If I remember right from the steam next fest, creating a super clone also altered the clone throw so the clone didn't go away after being thrown? I feel like that might not be practical though.
Seems like the Fors mains I was watching all week complain about how weak Fors feels weren't really making good use of all the clone tech, wonder if we'll see him climb the tier lists over the next few weeks here. Definitely a cool design in ROA2.
One thing that feels just so weird is trying to hold down b during regular combos and such. Just so insane to think about and unintuitive to me. I wish I could get like some play by plays or something watching a forsburn play and all the clone things they do in a specific interaction
So does normal clone also attack or is it just Super Clone Does Super Clone attack only if you press Neutral B after spawning him? Do you have influence on its attacks or is it just a CPU that runs at the opponent? Thanks for the vid!
I have over 100 hours and 1400+ elo but had NO idea that you could to those things with the clone, this is a game changer! cheers man

SO much information i had no idea about - definitely going to make my Forsburn a little less honest to compete better with the rest of the cast lol

Great video! I had no idea about holding neutral B for the clone to keep him grounded and get edge guards. Would love to see more forsburn tutorials.

Almost level 30 with forsburn and I never knew the hold b thing. Just thought the clone was brain dead stupid. XD tyvm for the video!
