Great video. But do you have video on how to replace the crimsafe mesh. Mine is non genuine crimsafe but has a hole in the wire near lock. I have seen the steel mesh you can buy. But have no idea how to take the sliding door frame apart to put new mesh in. 🤔
I have a crimesafe security screen sliding door and I need to remove it in order to change the rollers on the glass sliding door as I cannot lift the glass sliding door out inwards to the house (I need to lift the glass sliding door outwards of the house). In order to remove the crimesafe sliding door is it just a matter of adjusting the top and bottom runner wheels to their low setting to be able to lift the door out of the track? TIA
HI you did a terrific resize of your door - But this is not a genuine Crimsafe security door. Crimsafe screw clap the marine mesh in the frame and their rollers are metal.
those doors are not crrimsafe doors, crimsafe doors when assembled has rubber on outside of the mesh and on the inside is a clamp bar which is screwed into place securing the mesh all the way round ,they also all have 3 point locks as standard, these are copy cat crimsafe with weaker mesh, held in place with plastic strip.and are very easy to kick in if someone wanted to do., nothing wrong with the way you cut down your doors only that you claim they are crimsafe which they are not even the frame is different from what crimsafe use.
Best video I have seen to resize a door. Well done thank you!
Best 'how to' on YT. Well done.

Great video and real;ly well explained. Saved me a lot of time and stress. Thank you Mark for doing it.
You should be an engineer designing this stuff!

bottom runner , wind the wheels through the hole in the end . then you can lift the door up and pull the bottom out.
