I love hearing Mario talk, even though we only ever hear one out of every three words 😮
Maybe at one point he gets broadband internet
😂😂😂
I know!! 😅
What about Craig Burley with his heavy Scott accent ..
If this was Potter or Lampard, Chelsea would never have won
If I was Craig I would give some sympathy and some credit to Pochettinho. Instead he says that he has absolutely nothing to say besides that Chelsea has nothing to offer. Arteta finished 8th with Arsenal for the first two years as a coach. 3rd year they finished 5th, and in last 2 years they are trying to win a title that they will never win 😂
Arsenal didn't spend 1Billion on transfer market ,arteta had to manage all those deadwood players that wenger&Emery left behind yet he won fa cup beating city & liverpool .Speaking of winning the title man city are on a different level we all know that they'll always be the favourite .But u shitheads always compare with arteta like its a stepping stone lmao .TRY comparing poch with pep he has almost spent same as pep since his spursy days now chelshit ,more experience in epl than pep but what has he won my dear friend ?
@@soumyadipmandal5198poch didn’t either, most of those signings are tuchel and potter signings

From 2 former Chelsea players, the criticism is justified. Scraped through the win and they’re still 10th on the table
@@Mikel26947I mean it’s not like there’s a shifting line up cos of injuries, players only playing with other new players for less than 6 months, 90% new squad and managers, underperforming players (sterling, mudryk) some of the important players we did buy start of season was injured (nkunku, lavia, and chuwuemeka) captain and vice captain injured(Reece, chilwell). But oh Chelsea deserves slander every espn video🤷🏾♂️😂
That’s what happens when you give them a platform to show how clueless and biased they can be sometimes
I'm a Liverpool fan but I think that it's unfair for Craig to put down on the team that he used to play for, when this Chelsea team is made out of a completely new squad and Pochettinho is trying hard to make this team work. Besides Thiago Silva there is no one in the team who played for more than a year for this Chelsea team. One thing when you have an established squad, another thing is dealing with a completely new team. Craig has to understand Football better than he does.
He’s always been like that mate he’s just an old salty fart, never has a good word to say about us, we’ve lost 4 games in our last 14 games, considering the age of the team ,injuries and how bad we started the season, not that bad, cup final too , looking forward to another great game against yous in the final, respect 👊🏻

Another great game 😂😂, I think you mean another thrashing from Liverpool.@@dt73034
Sure, I agree with you
@@southerner6852sterling I agree but chilwell has played very less games for Chelsea since we won ucl.
When some teams win ugly experts call it professional. When Chelsea wins ugly Craig calls it pedestrian.
It's because they have not been at their best for a while
@@isaacgloriosissimus2509but for some reason, they don't want to hear any circumstances.
Like the plethora of injuries to players game after game, training session after session.
Then look at the age and premier league experience of most of these players, regardless of the price they've been bought for.
The easiest way to criticise them is by how much the club spent.
there's a difference between winning ugly and winning late. A game where you hit a winner in stoppage time is much different from winning a game ugly. It's similar to United which is why their win shouldn't inspire fans to think they're back on track.
@@Iamwhatyousayiamyou can't downplay the money aspect. It is a huge factor. Teams have spent way less and have less backups and they are doing better. Tbh, if you spent more than 1 billion in 1.5 seasons, you have to be challenging the title. Until they do that, criticism is deserved.
Why can't the money aspect be downplayed when you guys overexaggerate about it? You bring up other teams having spent less and doing better and whatnot, but fail to bring up they weren't in a similar position as Cfc! Also. You could've had an argument about challenging with the money spent if expenditures were made towards world-class, experienced players for the here and now. But that wasn't the case now was it? Why is this so hard for you guys to comprehend? This 'new' Chelsea is a different phenomenon. Not all players were bought for the 1st team! And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you can Never challenge for the PL with a bunch of kids who've only played together merely months! Common sense should hint this...
This guy Craig Burley is 💯 a Chelsea hater
Please, let's face it, Craig is saying it as it is. We sometimes have to accept such criticisms in good faith and improve.
What we witnessed in the first half is total s**t. None of the players had any influence on the game, and our mediocre coach sat there looking on. Why couldn't he make the necessary changes when things were not going right, even before the break?
We will not play Palace every week.
@@fredericksango8346We expect a little slack from Craig Burley, as an ex Chelsea player that came through the youth system, but we don’t get it, for whatever reason.

Good night to all Chelsea fans
Good night (Milan fan)
They keep mentioning the money spent and that’s getting boring I mean the club made it clear about the transfer policy and yet these guys still saying it.
“An afterthought” is hilarious since every episode, whether Chelsea have played or not, has a segment going on about the transfer fees or FFP or American owners or whatever it may be. It’s one of the first things on the script for the show.
I swear, once you're watching a Chelsea match, the commentators repeat it over and over. before and after the game, the pundits mention it all the time. You'll think these guys are supposed to be professional and know that buying a bunch of kids to play in the most physical league in the world will not get you far, especially in their 1st season. if it was a case where we bought players in their prime and we're struggling we could understand but this just highlight the hate towards Chelsea and how much these people want to see the club fail. Even if we don't succeed in the near future, Chelsea will dominate eventually and I'll like to hear what they have to say then
What a comeback from Chelsea 💙🔥
Caicedo and enzo is worth that much the only issue is the system doesn't let them play like they will, I don't know how frank and these people would know the value of current players...
ESPN never rate Chelsea. even if they won 14-0 they'd still criticise 😂😂😂
You chelsea fans live in another world man. 1 billion spent and you're 10th. The performance today wasn't good enough. They scraped it

I'll just say this :
Aston Villa has 90' without Silva and we looked incredible
Palace we had 60' mins with Silva and we were poor. When he went off we scored 2 more goals.
I love Silva but I think his energy puts off the other players, he's great by himself, but I think he needs to be phased out soon. Badiashille's injury couldn't come at a more worse timing ! Hope Poch can prep Colwill's mindset because he's gonna have to lead from the back against City AWAY.
The most difficult fixtures are coming up, if we can get an overall positive result then we could have a chance at 6-8 position on the table.
I thought that lol.

Crystal Palace made a HUGE MISTAKE not selling Doucouré in the summer. Liverpool were willing to pay them good money, but they out priced themselves.
Then Doucouré gets a season ending injury, which compounded their mistake in the summer. Now they look relegation-bound. They did it to themselves tbh.
They did it with Olise as well. Not anyone will be paying good money for that injury prone player
Even the great man city scored late goals against Everton. A team that has the same manager for how many years and doesn't have a squad full of new players.
Yet when Chelsea showed some resilience and scored late goals and won it's still an issue.
Man utd have been playing terribly but are getting results, all of a sudden they are good?? these guys need to stop
Results are results mate. I would take results over performance anyday

We should've beaten them 4-3 if it wasn't for haaland diving for a penalty. We had more shots on target against city than any team since Pep took over. We play better against teams that play out. In fact the only team that has turned us over badly in the top 6 is Liverpool and we should've had two penalties. And yeah I know we played badly in that game but facts are facts
I don't understand so Liverpool first half performance against Burnley 💩 and they recovered so why when Chelsea does it is a big problem
No more Mudryk no more problems and no more politics I see now
👍
I really wanted him to succeed at Chels, and I think under the right circumstances he can be a special player, but it may be that his Chelsea career is already over.
Mudryk was a problem
The impressive thing about Chelsea's last two performances is the improvement in their defense. The Crystal Palace goal was an unstoppable or undefendable freak incident. The question is, why has it improved. It is so obvious that defensively, Chelsea are more solid, organised and competitive with Cole Palmer not involved and that he disrupts the Chelsea defense making it less compact because he does not like running or fighting for the team when the challenge is defense. This is something Chelsea cannot get away especially against stronger teams so the manager has decided to take him out of the defensive structure by playing him as a false 9. The problem then is then he has to be scoring goals as that is the job of the striker, but he struggles to score in that position as there is more attention and pressure from defenders on strikers which is why true strikers must be equipped to handle this and he is taking the place of a striker like Nkunku who can. The point of the game is to win and to achieve this you have to stop the opposition scoring by creating a strong defense, so Cole Palmer is a hindrance to this. There is no point in a player scoring a goal or assisting a goal if he then is the reason for the opposition scoring and so clearly Palmer needs to be benched to strengthen Chelsea's defense and this is why he could not make the Man City team who did exactly that, keeping him on the bench or out of the squad and then selling him, but media pressure is forcing the Chelsea manager to ignore his weaknesses and insist on finding a way to play him, playing him as a false 9 with less participation on Chelsea's defensive structure instead of benching him. The problem with this is that he is stopping a player that can play false number 9 and who can score under the pressure of that position being played and so making the team weaker than it could be, such as Nkunku or Sterling who was played by Pep in the false 9 position successfully at Man City in a Premier league winning team as well as other positions with no risk of him not participating in defensive duties, not being prepared to run and fight for the team or disrupting the defense. There is no logic to the selection decisions of the Chelsea manager to not bench Palmer as we know the defense is stronger without him, we know the squad has players that can score without weakening the Chelsea defense which they participate in with a fight, unlike Palmer, and we know there are players on the Chelsea bench that can play the position of false 9 or striker better than Palmer. We also know that Sterling does not have the issues Palmer has of weakening the defense from whatever position he is played in so there is no reason to bench him and it was he that made the pass that broke through Crystal Palace's defense creating an opportunity for the goal that saved Chelsea from a draw against what is one of the poorest sides in the league. If he had not been brought on, the opportunity would not have been created and fans would be calling for the manager's head. I predict that this obsession to not bench Palmer will continue to create confusion and weaken Chelsea defensively and it will lead to more unpredictable performances and losses and lead to the manager losing his job. It is fantastic that he can score now and then and even give assists now and then, but if he disrupts the team defensively, he is more a liability than benefit to the team and the teams objective to win, and so he needs to improve as a good and mature footballer needs to understand and perform well, not only offensively, but also defensively. Until he can learn to do this, he should not be on the pitch and Man City understood this and understood this weakness and the damage it causes to a teams objective to win cannot be ignored, there are no short cuts to success. The media can ignore it because it gives them the headlines they want for the player when he is on the pitch and scores as they like the player and they can write about something else if his weakness are evident, but Chelsea have a different objective which is to win by being compact defensively alongside scoring goals, so they cannot. Pep and Mourinho would have dealt with this issue without hesitation a long time ago. There is no way they would have let the media influence them and in effect pick their team in fear of the threat of bad media publicity threatening their job for not playing a player they want him to play because he is their favourite. Sticking to football logic is their strength. Peace and love
I really would want to be a guest on this show and ask some serious questions to Craig. Messi played the worst season of his career under Poch but no one ever said he wasn’t worth his price tag.
But all of you on that panel know that Chelsea is doing something unprecedented in football. Buying 15 players based on ‘potential’ rather than assured end product is something that has never been done in football.

there's nothing chelsea can do
Excellent analysis by Mario.
Question to everyone so since Mudryk will never play , or starch should he take at least one penalty for the season or no?
A pen isn't gona make much of a difference. He needs to learn how to play in a team in the premier league, and learn fast.

Need another Reliable Center back
Arsenal have won many of their points this season in similar circumstances (poor, flat first half performances followed by a strong, resurgent second half) but when they do it, it's character. A goal down from a worldie and coming back strong to score 3 goals in the second half sounds like a solid away day to me
Wow Chelsea did their best
I promise y'all that this Chelsea will go to Europa league or European conference..
I don't mean UCL 😂
Chelsea are definetely improving now. They will climb some.
To be fair in Burly’s career he was title contender every year it’s amazing & his trophy cabinets are full. So every team below 5th should just give up & never compete becuz “for what”? Ok got it Craig…
Loooool my thoughts exactly.
Everything’s gonna be alright
Chelsea very often look more interested in possessing the ball all game long instead of actually shooting the ball and scoring goals. They nearly went the entire first half without one single shot while having 80% possession. The players look far too lethargic and not in any hurry to create any end product. 10th spot pretty much perfectly sums up Chelsea this season. They are the definition of mediocre right now. And their +1 goal difference reflects exactly that.
Please the coach must do more
I’m truly not sure what people were expecting from Chelsea to start the season, we’re slightly underperforming but really our absolute best was always gonna be 6th and our worst anywhere between 12 - 16th so honestly nothing to see here. Let’s see how we do next season
This Craig guy really hates Chelsea😂😂😂😂
I think the biggest focus for Chelsea should be winning the FA Cup, because 1. Its obviously a major trophy and 2. Winning the FA Cup gets you into the Europa League.
Craig is complaining as if chelsea lost a match! Chelsea won and it hurts him. Espn always showing Chelseas fixtures and yet Chelsea keeps surviving these matches. Chelsea will grow into matches given their age over time.
You know it is funny none of these pundits see that the game slows down when Silva is playing…
Craig Burley hates Chelsea so much for someone who played for them for 8 years and came through the academy… it’s quite weird
As Chelsea fan i can here for fank
Can somebody in ESPN send some money to Mario so he can buy better equipment and get a faster internet plan please?
Well don't have Craig on the panel for those matches since he has nothing to say.
I believe it was fair criticism. We were deff pedestrian for the first half and its just better than it was but not really proof that we’re gonna be any better going forward.

Please can someone give me the Craig’s football achievements, because someone that makes this criticism everyday must have achieved a lot during his football career….. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
One thing am sure about is that most of these inexperienced players are better than Craig Burley during his playing days.
Chelsea were lucky Olise and Eze were unavailable for that game , otherwise they would get smashed easy !
This makes no sense because they were available the last time and they got smashed
New pundits needed.
Chelsea fans happy to see back of Jorginho and Havertz 😂. Hope they enjoyed Arsenal-Liverpool game. 🎉
People say we spent all that money as if we went out and bought world class players 😂 we have kids expecting them to immediately start winning trophies, give me a break
Frank is very intelligent
Frank was also the much better player then Burley who was useless!
The reason why Chelsea transition has been poor is Silva. He always seems to keep the ball for too long and am yet to see him give just one long pass direct to the forwards all season.
This win was big and much needed after crashing back down to Earth and losing their last 2 league games, but overall Chelsea remain a work in progress under Mauricio Pochettino and once again they were so unconvincing. Winning is what matters because if they had dropped more points they won’t put themselves in a trajectory where they can move up the table and that continuity is something that they need and they lack so much of it. In the first half they had all the ball, but were so bad and their overall play was so flat and in the 2nd half they were actually lucky to win the game because before the 3 goals that they scored, they were so bad.
We haven’t seen much progress from Chelsea because what they do this season it’s always a step up then we step back and down. Even when they win, I don’t see anything that convinced me about them because it seems like Mauricio Pochettino has been bailed out by individuals and their penalty specialist seems to always save them and he’s been bailed out by him on a couple of occasions. What’s the identity and what’s their settled lineup we don’t know any of that and you may have got the win but still remain in 10th and they need to get a run going so that they don’t finish in the bottom half again because without Everton’s point deduction they’re closer to them than European football and the top 4 which seems out of their reach once again.
Call out Poch because you guys praised him when he came in. Go to his training ground and come back and report it!
Craig is accurate today. The performance was very poor.
Chelsea is not a possession based team, if you check the games that they have performed, they are end to end.
A long way to go for sure, but the only way to get anywhere is step by step.

Chelsea never play well other teams just play poorly. Seems fair.
What is happening to Chelsea can happen to any club, people forget things easily, the genesis of their problem started when Government dealt with the formal owner, they started when the seized their accounts they were unable to spend money and ended it by forcefully taking the Club from Ibrahimovic, that destroyed the club then after they sold the club to a mediocre who knows nothing about football and to crown everything up the directors from the top to the bottom are just a joke. I will never have any criticism against them, is just unfortunate.
Roman Abramovic loved Chelsea!

We dont care about the rating
Gallagher played since the kickoff and was nowhere in the first half.
He is no special player as everyone wants to make him be.
Gallagher is a hardworking player who really loves the club but has obvious technical limitations.
You dont know what to say, talk to your producer or go stand in that shaded corner. Jeez this guy
Everyone is so stuck on how much was spent on certain players as if the club really wanted to spend that amount. Why not put a cap on the price clubs want to sell certain players for? Brighton and other clubs overpriced players so of a club really wants a player then what choice do they have but to pay the fee?
