Love this movie and want to support this. But $65 and no English subtitles on the bonus content is a deal breaker. I would not call this an US release.
Here!! Here!! I feel the same. I hesitated to order at first. But now I glade I went ahead and ordered. The subtitles in the main movies are just fine.
Not only is $65 on the expensive end even for premium packaged stuff, but its pretty lazy that they didn't bother to subtitle the special features. Also, i believe the booklet also isn't translated. But do we know if this is the official US release? Considering there isn't taxes, wouldn't this be an important from a foreign company. Is another label/studio not picking it up?

I paid the 65.00 bucks.I wanted the same movie experience I saw in the theater. The subtitles in the theater version were always on point to what was being said in the movie. The dud on Netflix was missing the heart of the movie. The emotions and reactions of what was going on the screen lack the real feelings of the characters with the dud voices. Even when the characters were speaking Japanese, human emotions and reactions are universally understood. So reading a few lines on the bottom of the screen didn't bother me. Especially sents the lines were well written. In todays world of texting. I don't see how anyone would have a problem quickly reading and understanding a few words on a screen.
As a real die hard Godzilla fan, I ordered mine and paid the $65 for it and can’t wait to add it into my Godzilla dvd collection
Preorderd the Japanese version . Thank goodness because as of today preoeders are sold out
I ordered as you did as well. Thanks.
Just stumbled across your video, glad I did! Mine is on order, thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for taking time to write!

I have been keeping an eye out for it and ordered it day one. I’ve seen it so many times with the subtitles. I don’t even care about a dubbed one.
I may or may not have a dubbed copy already and it's awful. I prefer subtitles.

Don’t be cheap
@@Dodgerschamps24 Cheap? I'm trying to be financially responsible. You think its normal to pay $65 for a 4k?
No word on the US release -- if any

Yep
Took me over 24 hours for a shipping code unfortunately
Will my card get charged if I preorder it
@@chadclark20 Thx! I'll cancel my order and do that!
@GXKfanbase Yes, my card got charged yesterday when I placed the order. With the 15% and free shipping it came out to $58.91
I wish they had done the same for Shin Godzilla.

I'll wait for a cheaper copy thank you 65 dollars is way too much .
I got a 15% off code and a free shipping code so it cost me $58. Not bad for what all your getting in this set.
Oh ya, I'm going to buy this after all I could drop $65.00 a visit to the movies with popcorn and drinks for me and my girlfriend
Exactly! The cinema has become unaffordable. And with all of the gack being shoved out there, unwatchable as well. LOL
Yheah, I was thinking the same. Most dates you can spend more than that. Then that date is over. This is yours for good.
Oh darn was hoping it come with digital copy and no english dub?
English dub meh
@@Dodgerschamps24 I mean the english dub wasn't that bad
Godzilla Minus One 4 disc cash grab coming to the USA.. There, fixed your headline.
$65 is kinda steep, i remember getting Shin Godzilla for like $25
It's a 4-disc set. That's why
That was one disc, no 4K either
