I do consider it like a portable dummy that you can take with you. I keep mine in my gym bag for when I want those quick training moments.

When I first saw these 'Rings,' I wasn't too impressed by them; But
I decided to get one just out of curiousity.
Well, combined with my Wing Chun, and Nunchuck experience, I
was able to Catch on quite rapidly!
One can get 'Creative with these rings.
I not only Enjoy it---I find them practical, and useful.

I see this video is 6 years old... Which means I'm behind 😅 Thank you not only for the content, but for the products and services you provide. I just recently joined the Facebook group so I truly look forward to learning and studying the content that you are offering here and through your website. We have a Wing Chun school here in Birmingham, however it is not open due to the nature of close contact during study/practice. Although I have practiced Shotokan for a couple of decades, I am looking to explore the Southern lineages where the style originated through its transmission to Okinawa and Japan. Again thank you for making this available to us especially in areas where this type of study is nonexistent.

    Such a multi faceted tool.
What are the differences in the sizes of the ring? Or is it just a personal preference regarding the individual's size ect?
    Thank you for introducing it!

The size of the determines what you can do with it. You can also think of the different sizes like ranges in combat. The smaller the ring the closer your opponent.

Wilford Grimley your absolute right. The ring falls into the category of solo training tools like iron palm bags, wooden dummy, and heavy bags. Two person training is always superior but if you want to work iron bridge drills with footwork the ring is a good choice if your training on your own.
