I’m a longtime iPad Pro user who’s looking to escape (jailbreak myself) from Apple’s growing domineering control of loyal customers who buy their products. It is getting too overbearing really of late. My iPad literally cuts my wifi connection until I update my software, which is insane. I was interested in the Samsung Tab S Ultra but am happy to hear of Lenovo’s new flagship tablet, more choices for consumers. I’m also thinking of a Lenovo laptop to replace my Apple computer. I’m looking forward to breathing the free air whereby I control my devices again, not vice versa. Thanks for the review.
The built-in kickstand is an awesome addition, it allows you to bring the tablet much closer to you if you’re only viewing content and don’t need an external keyboard. For that reason and the great OLED vibrancy, if I was filthy rich, this might be the best ever “watch a movie on a plane” device ever made 😂. It can also double as an awesome secondary portable monitor. And the fact that it has an SD slot makes 256 GB internal more than enough. Honestly the only reason I wouldn’t get it is its size, I like to hold my tablets a fair amount, and this thing is just enormous. If they had a 11”-12” Extreme version, I’d get that in a heartbeat.

512 GB or even an option for 1 tb would have been absolute apropriate, because this can be very well a replacement for a laptop, used for productivity and your only device :( Other than that it is really nice , also the option to function as a secondary monitor.
Android tablets have 2.8 million apps, Apple 1.9 million Android tablets have tens of thousands more free apps than Apple. So much for your comment about app selection🤣😂🤣
Love how these tablets are getting premium by the day. Extreme is powered by mediatek with a 12300mAh battery life. I wish the cameras were a little better though.
Love this device....chose this over the Samsung ultra...I also use this to remote into my home computer...this is an absolute perfect device for my use cases.
This was a good review but the samsung tablets use dex and that makes them more future proof that's where always work even as it gets older because it's just working off a browser like a chromebook

My goodness! Just what is happening with these RUclips jockeys? One of the biggest draw for "tablet users," is the screen. This guy only mentioned the size of it, and that it is going to be an OLED. And that was the sum of all the specs he gave us about it. Then goes on to spend minutes about the camera. A feature about which, hardly anyone cares. UGH!
Sheesh !!! 🤤 Frankly, it's a bomb, even if it has 3 big handicaps, its Mediatek processor, its software and software monitoring (it's Lenovo😅), and especially its $1200 price. Just a Qualcomm Orion or even 8 Gen 2 and One-Ui on it 😅, and it would have been this year's tablet 🤗 This tablet with Qualcomm's new Orion or at least an 8 Gen 2, 5 years of updating and $200 - $300 less on the price, and Lenovo would have had a winner! But there at almost $1200 without the pencil and the keyboard, and with a Mediatek, it's going to be very very complicated compared to the iPad M1 12′′ and S8 Ultra which are objectively better in terms of software, much better followed in terms of software and have an aura that Lenovo does not have. Lenovo, or how to release an almost perfect product but make it stillborn 🤦🏽♂️
ISSUE WITH LENOVO , THEY NEVER SUPPORT THEIR DEVICES WITH ANDROID UPDATES , you will be lucky if you buy it to get 1 update . I know that they review says there will be 3 updates , Lenovo are not none for their follow through when it comes to this , once they have your money , tough sh@t if things don't meet expectations , as far as their tablets are concerned , I have had 3 of there tablets in the past 2 of which were there so-called flagship ones , paying at the time over £500 for the tablets I got 1 update on each.

Samsung ultra has dex...without a dex competitor Samsung will always win...all Samsung needs to do now is continue to make dex better.
