Grizzled Jarl is far from a mediocre epic. He's a terrific epic. Pretty underrated. First of all hes tanky anyway and easy to keep alive and do dmg with as hes defense based, the A1 smacks pretty hard, atk down is 100% with books, the a3 takes a few books but overall his book requirement is reasonable, and having block debuffs together with incr def is strong, especially grouping him with other def based champs. Theres even more valuable utility there too, but hes really good just for these things and the heal reduction and max hp destroy are just extra bling.
@@Kyndeyern he's super good for things like clan boss where his block debuffs can help deal with the stun and his inc def can really help extend your runs. His only real drawback for the role is that his dec atk is on a 4 turn so he might need some help to keep that up 100% on the CB depending on your speeds. But he brings a lot of utility to the table.
I got him from a promo code for downloading the game and completely agree. He hits really hard and has utility that is good for almost every dungeon. Heal reduction is clutch in the arena. He’s good everywhere. Totally worth every book I gave him
