The specs on this turntable are amazing as far as rim drives go. Thanks to the heavy platter and huge motor, wow and flutter are practically almost non existent. These things are also known for their unbelievably insane tracking ability. While it's not recommended, you can place it on its side and it will still track a record even with anti-skate intact!
Ciao.Ho ritrovato un vecchio 1219 dual grundig e vorrei farlo funzionare.Gli automatismi vanno tutti bene.Non riesco assolutamente a regolare il peso della testina.Il contrappeso ha un gioco di pochi centimetri e la pesina mi dice che e' fuori scala quindi gia' sopra i 5gr.Vorrei im,postare 1,5g per la testina ma non riesco assolutamente.Mi sono ritrovato un pezzettino di plastica circolare ,ma non so se e' posizionato all'interno del contrappeso.Puoi darmi una mano?.Agisci solo sul contrappeso o sposti proprio il braccio avanti ed indietro?Per l'antiskating quale scala utilizzi quella di sn o quella di dx.Una sembra positiva e l'altra negativa.Grazie

Gorgeous. I just picked one up for $25, but it doesn't have that drop down front storage. Very cool.
I own a 1229, which is the same I believe, except it has a strobe light. I love the table. Also own another 9 Duals. I love them all

They were beautiful tables, and so easy to calibrate compared to some of the monstrosities that are out there today.
