For 6:35, you see this letter (ă), this is what is called the A-breve. It is exclusive to Romanian and Vietnamese. (It also appeared in Mayalsian before 1972, but that's no longer a thing.)
We actually paint double lanes in Poland to separate two opposing lanes, and a single solid line separates two lanes in the same direction but prohibits overtaking. the dashed line allows cars to overtake.
Being a Malaysian here this video definitely hold me in for the 1st 5 minutes seeing you explaining how you get to recognize the view to be in south east Asia. Love it!
I miraculously beat you twice yet learned so much. In the first round the sign said 'Pekanbaru' on it, which is one of the bigger cities on Sumatra, so that gave me a good lead but then I went Indonesia instead of Malaysia because I forgot which country uses 2 and which uses 3 sections. I'm going to remember by the trick: Indonesia has more syllables so more sections. Hopefully that will stick.
Love the coaching videos! Usually I get bored of watching geoguessr videos after about 10 minutes but your videos are so engaging I can always watch them through. Keep it up!
I am from Poland and can explain why there were a double line on such a small road. In Poland a double line means just "overtaking not allowed", while long dotted line means that overtaking is allowed and short double line indicates that you are allowed to cross the line to enter the turn. We have no single lines at all, thus it doesn't make a difference wether the road is wide or not.
At 11:18 those trees in the right side are "neem trees", which are native from india but were introduced in most parts of northeast brazil because of their repellent properties
Got 22k on the first one, well being Asian and half-Indonesian certainly helps lol. But it went downhill on the second game, that Guatemala round did the damage for me who proudly chose Colombia lol. Got 16k but I will take it since South America (and Europe) is my arch nemesis. Edit: I also plonk in France on the Italy round 😅
21k in both games, but I am proud of myself for 5k-ing the very last round with the Paro airport. I’ve seen a clip on youtube about it being one of the most challenging airports to land on.
I just did the challenges and for me the Bhutan coverage was overwritten by some unoffical one which confused me for a second but got there in the end.
20:55 From my experience, that is an Eastern European architecture feature, not necessarily Poland. What I know for a fact is that it is very common in Romania. I can't say how common it is in other countries in Eastern Europe, but it is at least fairly common
I got the Bhutan round because the map was provided by the bureau of tourism of Bhutan. Is there a meta around that kind of thing too? I rarely look at it.
on the last round i got different coverage as you for some reason... Mine had really poor quality which is why i thought it was gen 1 coverage and new zealand...
Agreed! Someone to ask all the "stupid" questions a more experienced player mightn't think of...(or perhaps a series coaching people of different levels).
Thanks for another great video, zi8zag! I'm releasing a new map soon called 'Perfect 10', please take a look, it has taken me forever to make and I think you could get a nice video or two out of it!
bro... today I was playing duels and I got Pakistan twice. I never knew they were in the game and was so shocked as I moved around because I always thought they weren't! Weird...
hi zi8gzag, as for r3 we had a km marker next to us: distance was 15xx, as you can see in this info graphic, the northern part of the country ends with about 7xx so therefore it has to be southern. i.gyazo.com/e0106566daaf2df093b01c2be8c56138.png (but I think you missed the km marker completely).

or perhaps even better, malaysia has two parts - peninsula + borneo
@@zi8gzag Nice memorisation trick! I will remember that one. Thanks (:
you should make one of these at least once a week :)
💕 your logo and name reminds me of my beloved ANI days.
Agree
Or you should start from the bottom at his page and watch one he already made once a week

Congrats on 15k!

18:15 in that Poland round you were like 100 meters away from Oświęcim camp (more commonly known for non-polish as Aushwitz- Birkenau)
I'm loving the coaching videos! I've improved recently using tips from your videos. Thanks!
Yess more of these coaching videos, it's indeed very helpful!

Thanks for the tips! Great video as always:)
Finally some good tips to distinguish malaysia and indonesia. These two are my biggest enemies in country streaks
Thank you 😍
That Guatemala round was super impressive! Great pronunciation of Katowice as well :)
I love the coaching videos. After the last one I watched, I immediately used the Perth kerbstone tip to win a duel.
I really enjoy this type of videos, very useful!
could you make a video on differentiating between languages? czech vs slovakian or latvian vs lithuanian can be tricky
The Italy guess was crazy. The last Brazil round had the exact same soil as a location I got in Uruguay. Obviously it was much flatter tho
Loved it, these are probably my favorites.
These coaching vids are great! I took lots of notes!
At 11:18 those trees in the right side are "neem trees", which are native from india but were introduced in most parts of northeast brazil because of their repellent properties

@@bill-clintongaming i live in ceará and those trees are very very common in almost all streets

That's quite a Polish pole indeed
15:50 tell me that red sign doesn't look like the "Cambodia" beer sign ?? Even the tilt of the font and the colors
indo round said the place on like two signs
Would love to see you live coaching another person

21:24 damn, the city you were in, Oświęcim, is quite a famous one.
You probably know it by the German name though... Auschwitz.
why do you think being from eastern europe is an advantage in geoguessr?
