16:15 another tip for Poland: double solid lines in Poland are used to separate lanes going in opposite direction (so quite typical for narrow two-lane two-way roads where you can't overtake), and single solid line is used to separate lanes going the same direction on wider roads like highways, express ways or city avenues. I couldn't find any part of Vienna convention that regulates the road markings, so I don't know if that's typical of any other European country.
Hard to watch that french round by the Mont Blanch where the sign said 'Les Houches' and you passing over the name a few times while staying confidently that we are looking at swiss signs 😂😂 Good tips though buddy thanks for the videos !
Awesome and really helpful video even though I’m watching a bit late! 😃Just to be clear on the new zealand round 8:46 Wimbledon is in London and it’s also the big tennis tournament. That’s where you probably heard it. Also there is a Wimbledon in New Zealand it’s that university near Herbertville. Thanks
Great vid. I love that for some of the tips you could explain why such things are common in the country, makes it a lot easier to remember imo. Like how utility poles usually have a metal band in NZ to stop possums from climbing, and that Brazil has a lot of red roofs bc of Portugese influence. Feels like i'm actually learning something useful about the countries, memorizing signs or bollards probably won't ever benefit me outside of geoguessr ya know?
12:30 South Korea always seems to have more deciduous trees, and it doesn't have the cone-shaped cryptomeria/Japanese cedar trees that Japan does. Perhaps the more intense continental-seasonality of Korean climate influences this
I was on track for my first 23k and then I confidently went Wales on the New Zealand round. I knew Wimbeldon is a place in UK so I kinda jumped the gun there
I scored 22.300 on the first challenge. I could have been way better because I chose Japan instead of Taiwan (totally ignoring Chinese letters and the black/yellow stripes to the bottom) but overall very decent for me as a beginner.
really appreciate this video, you do a great job explaining your thought process and i find it very entertaining
I'm not competitive by any means, but have been playing for a couple years, and it was nice to learn a few new and very useful tips. Thanks!

The thought process talk throughs are my favorites- thanks!
I appreciate these. even if some may find them repetitive, ought to still be nice to have reminders

Nice video especially for the beginners, i get a score of 24332 in the first game.
I've been to Rottnest Island that's crazy. When I got it I was like: "Wait, is this what I think it is?"

I know you make tip videos pretty commonly. Would you ever make a video focuses specifically on bollards?
I could do that!
you should do a lot more of the plant based ones i think those are so interesting
I was on track for my first 23k and then I confidently went Wales on the New Zealand round. I knew Wimbeldon is a place in UK so I kinda jumped the gun there
I got 5k on the 3rd guess. I can’t believe it 😂 I play it for a week now.
You’re great!
Got my notebook right here already
autumn coverage is common in Rhode Island
Unfortunately also common everywhere else in New England.

Nice Video, thanks for the tips, but please look up the pronunciations of Mont Blanc :D
Okay so regarding your third round in the first game: White signs with very thick red borders are always French :)
I scored 22.300 on the first challenge. I could have been way better because I chose Japan instead of Taiwan (totally ignoring Chinese letters and the black/yellow stripes to the bottom) but overall very decent for me as a beginner.
Whats your Geoguesser name and do you have pro?
@ I‘m playing on the open version. I just play for fun and I already retired learning specific regional signs and so on.
@@SubZeroo7 aww men
So I can't deal with a pro like you to learn?
