For people wondering about safety concerns, 5-12 volts won't kill all your fish even if the insulation failed. Its safe. Honestly a bigger issue is how ineffective it is. It does not have enough surfacs area internally to hold a lot of beneficial bacteria. It has very low flow rate. There are a lot of ways it could fail, so lots of maintenance will be required. Wastes more energy than store bought pumps and powerheads. And it looks ugly. But for setups that need low flow rate and don't need to look all that good, this is a pretty good design and I say go for it. I might make one myself for my shrimptank. 9/10 design under very specific conditions. Good job

Which part gets rusty??, the water pump??, no bruh it's specifically made to work under water, and other parts are plastic and an insulated copper wire, to hang the whole system. But it gets dirty when it's work for a week, so the only thing u wanna do is to clean the filter (sponge) once in a week. 👍
It doesn't pump air only, it will filter the water and pump back to the aquarium mixed with air, if u want air pump only, it need seperate motor, I will make such videos in future, thank u for watching and commenting ❤✨
