Actually, the gap between a Demon Lord and a True Demon Lord is like a miles long and all the 12 general's power far exceeded the True Demon Lord level.
The funniest thin is that Rimuru could take all of his 12 generals at the same time with little to no difficulty, the hacks that rimuru gets are beyond ridiculous like i could try to write a character that is just omnipotent and rimuru has a way to beat it lol
For some reason Gabiru is the one who improves a lot, Gobta is a prodigy after a hard training with Hakuro, Shuna can be called a secret card for Rimuru (if you saw that Shuna vs Adallman fight scene) and lastly is Shion, she can beat a demon lord(Clayman) easily during that walpurgis

I don't even really like how in terms of scale Rimuru's first and most loyal subjects the wolves and goblins kind of get left behind for the the bishounen line that is the Orge who all effectively become hot teenagers to sexy 20 somethings to hot middle aged men. I digress. Shuna being unbelievably powerful and invaldiating Rimuru's front line guardians but she just hangs out all day and makes clothes. Thats stupid. @@Monty2289 Hakurou is physical/swords man "master" (there are many characters that are more powerfull) but Shuna is magical/mystical "priest/princess" (idk what it was called) and her skill is based on enemies/source magic just liek adalman used desintegration, she used his power and multiplied it without using her magicules because she doesnt have many of them to free him from his curse to the land.

In the first place, goblins were one of the weakest monsters probably next to slime and ogres are one of the strongest, so I understand why they became the strongest among Rimuru’s guardians. The power or blessing they got from Rimuru from when they were named to Rimuru becoming a demon lord is basically proportional to their original prowess... remember that it took so much magicule to name Diablo? Does it make sense to give the same amount of magicule to a primordial demon as what you would give to an unnamed goblin? Although I agree that they get less screen time but when it comes to fighting battles, I think all the monster races get equal roles. As for Ranga, he’s pretty strong and much more so than Gobta but I don’t really see anything wrong with him being Rimuru’s bodyguard/shadow. I mean he seems to love the job.. Also, Shuna being stronger than Hakuro? That we don’t know. But there is a possibilty since she’s an Ogre Princess and Benimaru’s sister. Hakuro might be an excellent swordsman and have more experience in fighting, but as to who is more powerful, we will find out in the future.

I just want it said- Gabiru was one of the best reclamation project characters I have ever seen. I mean I genuinely wanted him to die as he annoyed me so for at least three episodes, but his character growth was so fantastic. One of my favorites now, in a show chalk full of awesome fun characters.
He's grown a lot. Now he's a great scientist, fighter and general and has become dependable. He's matured a good bit too and even Ultima likes him(seems like the 3 girls all found a representative from a race to like, Testarossa liking Gobta and Carrera liking Geld) and helps train him.
Something else to note. Benimaru, Zegion and Diablo are the only subordinates of Rimuru who are able to stop time. And another thing about Nihility energy, it's not only stated to be able to destroy ANYTHING but also create anything as well. By the end of the series rimuru is capable of creating and destroying an infinite number of universes, world and universe are interchangeable in the series, so the fact that the top 3 are able to use even a fraction of that power is incredibly impressive.

Rimuru final form is just ridiculously op, he has 2 dragons to summon, time and space travel ability (with no restrictions like the true hero's skill), only Guy could fight him 1v1

This anime is getting so one-sided but I love that, and considering how op Rimuru is already he also has most of the strongest characters in the manga. He's unstoppable now and this for me is getting a lot more interesting. I love this series so much.
well think about it this way, we all know that the main protagonist is gonna win. what manga like that time I got slimed and overlord do is make you more interested in how people are gonna come up with killing the main protag then the protag getting stronger. it feels almost like dinner and a show.
Ln has moments were he have no chance, but win. And it happens every time. What's interesting it's all explained logically in ln via those phrase: Chloe went through 14 000 000 possible worlds and only one of them had Rimuru alive. So we are watching it

Fun fact: at first Rimuru was the one that was going to get the Ultimate Skill Hastur, but Ciel advised to wait until after the battle, this resulted in Rimuru getting a different Ultimate skill so he had no need for Hastur anymore
I love that the 12 generals are pretty much just weaker versions of rimuru since each of them has at least one or two skills from Rimuru. Rimuru accidentally became a god.
He actually does become God. It's not spoiling it too much for you, to tell you that one of his enemies screws up so bad that he makes Rimaru powerful enough to become the god of that universe.
Shion's ultimate skill Tyrannous King Susano'o is more than capable of just harming the soul of others, it could do more than that. The true main ability of Susano'o is to have full control over the Laws of Causality, this allows her to purposely cause the result she wants to an object or even concepts. Yeah very OP if you ask me.

When I read the Web novel, Diablos and zeigon left one of the biggest impression on me. Zeigon didn't have much fleshed out for him since he kinda appeared out of nowhere but was so damn op whereas it's was funny to see diabolo just tagged along with rimuru wherever he goes even when they were stealthing together in the shadows
I love how he explained different how totally broken his generals are and then says rimuru is stronger like this is too much at this point but that is what makes me love it even more

The only way to beat *AT LEAST* one of Rimuru’s 12 Patrons is to wait till they empty their mana/magic reserve, without Rimuru giving them how much they need, obviously.
You cannot wait because if the patriot mana is low they can pray to rimuru so that they regain their mana back. Rimuru got this skill from ruminas basically if a monster pray to rimuru not only the monster got temporary boost, rimuru also got stronger from the pray

I just watched Slime Diaries, you're telling me the beetle that got one-shotted by Milim became one of the strongest!? Lol, I thought the "I need to get stronger' part of the dialogue was just a joke.
What I learned from this is that even the manga is barely scratching the surface of the LN. I've been following the manga ever since it was at chapter 30 yet there are still lots of characters that either went under the radar or haven't been shown yet. I'm hyped!
You can start to read LN vol 6 chapter 4 I forgot which the manga left off but there lot of information that wasn't present in the manga to clarify things you can read it LN in meownovel
Not to spoil you too much, he does become God himself. He gets so powerful he can do pretty much anything he wants. I mean his wife is the goddess of time. That's a little much. The credibility of the story goes out the window after the Eastern empire business.
It should also be noted that before their assentions Noir(Diablo) was one of the few entities able to tangle Rouge(Guy Crimson) and not lose And also if Zegion is an insector(devil worm?) then we'd have to consider the fact that insectors are one of the three main other realm powers able to hold their own against both phantoms(fallen angels), devils, and spirit beasts
@@sumanthmadivada6478 for the most part LN/WN a bit the manga, though the Walpurgis does contain a bit of a hint on Rouge's past with Nior in his musings about Barrette, and more of said past is hinted at during the founding of the black numbers and plays a part during an attack on the holy city As for the Insectors, IIRC Diablo makes a passing comment about it at some point first, but in the LN at least Sion faces off against one During an attack on the holy city, and it's revealed that it had been what the counsel had been using to secure their northern border with Guys territory, and during some of the more recent parts, at least for me vol 16-18 ish I think, the story goes into the nature of where they came from as it relates to one of the newer antagonists
Some of these characters haven’t joined rimuru yet. I just wished the developers would tell us when the fourth season would come out. The seasons, first movie, oads, ovas, and the slime diaries didn’t take over a year to come out in between them.
Fun Fact : When the Primordial Trio were still demon peers before they evolved into a True Demon Lord they were already stronger compared to Gabil who awakened as a True Demon Lord. After Gabil evolved into a True Demon Lord he was still weaker than the girls' pre-evolution, which shows how big the power gaps are in this list.
Ive come from growing up watching dragon ball and dragon ball is my fav anime until this anime come out it was so refreshing seeing all these loyalty world building and adventure tbh and make you want more from this anime

It really depends on the kind of manga tbh. For example, HxH and Chainsaw man have a story where anything could happen, anyone could die at any moment, and lots of twist everywhere. It kills all suspense once you already know what's gonna happen. For Tensura, its kinda ok to get spoiled cus the animes best aspect is the characters, not the story (kinda). I mean the world building is good but its not the main focus of the anime

So many possibilities but I think, The Tenma war would have happened much more earlier if he is in the banquet. Clayman could have back out since he was warned by laplace then there will be a leak of information which probably yuuki would utilize.

So whilst this video is a year old, I'm going to say that you probably should have ranked Shion higher on the list. They specifically mention that her Great Chef skill basically boils down to "She gets the result that she wants" and that skill can also translate to her combat ability. Meaning that it is very difficult for her to lose any fight she is in
Nuclear bomb is common in tensura called nucleus magic. Even razen can do that. And nucleus magic is as strong or stronger than nuclear bomb like wtf. I guy like razen can do legion magic. Thats how strong tensura world is.
Your video was amazing. I had and have great interest in Rimuru's 12 patreons/12 guardian demon lords (specially for Diablo). So your video is very well done in keeping the info about them in very entertaining and cool sounding manner. It was AWESOME. 👍🏼
Watching through all 64 episode in total (These are including the side episodes) made me actually really like the show. Seeing these didn't confuse me, especially seeing Rimuru having such strong allies. I personally want to read the manga after watching the anime because I thought that it was really good. Oh, and when watching the anime. I could not stop saying her in my head thinking about Rimuru because of the femimine voice and Shizue's face being a part of Rimuru's face after consuming her as her wish.
There are a couple things that are misinterpreted/difference in translation but yeah this is mostly correct. Also if anyone thinks that Zegion is stronger than Diablo, you're delusional. Guy acquiring a manas is also a possibility. Although Guy didn't in the WN, basing how the LN progresses, it's not impossible. the funny thing is Adalman is an elite martial artist, but in tensura combat arts are stored in the flesh and being an undead skeleton he has no access to them. However in the Tenma war when fighting Dagrule he fused(hopefully temporally) with his pet dragon Wenti and restored his body to it's height and proceed to trade blows with a Giant who has an arua on par with a true dragon(one of dagrule's brothers who when fused almost beat down a full-power Veldora who only won due to a little help from Ciel.
Zegion for me is like a Magic Tank... He can tank magic attacks. Also he's a close combat specialist. That's why most Demons will have a hard time dealing with Insectoids like Zegion.

I recently read the web novel and it is really fun to see the little changes between the web novel and the manga/anime (I didn’t read the Light Novel so I don’t know if the changes started from there), for example in the web novel Kumara is a fox that Rimuru found on the Forrest and put her on floor 90 of Ramiris Laberinth, then on a latter date, she asked Rimuru to name her 8 friends, he agreed “not because she was a little girl” and since her friends were a part of her she evolved into the nine tail fox, becoming the boss of the floor in the process. After that is the same as in the video. Also, Gobuta is part of the 12 generals taking Rangas place, but it doesn’t affect that much since Gobuta tends to fuse with Ranga during battle so in a way both are part of the 12 Generals.
Shion is ranked too low. With her unique skill master chef(which ofcouse later included in the ultimate skill susanoo) she can literary change the reality of anything she touches. That meant that at some point Ceil refused to further evolve her as she could pose a threat to Rimuru himself who is practically a god so ye. She is strong. Very much so

Ive read the full light novel of this anime and the Only short explanation of rimurus power is that HE BECAME a God that He can even make his own WORLD using Nullihity magic ( the spelling might be wrong but its something like that ) But rimuru choose not to make his own World instead hes Content with the world he is in right now.
I honestly want to put down Gabiru at first but then as the story goes, I then understand why Gabiru is acting like it. His personality fits him so much and if he changes himself I dont think we ever get the same Gabiru. He is genuinely confident and committed.

Coming back to this, they knew what Kurama was doing but let it happen because she was still willfully serving him and was incredibly loyal towards him. Then Adalmann was also quite powerful because he's able to wield both holy and demonic power. I believe that it was the eastern empire, they got through the gate and the small percentage of the people who got to Adalmann, used holy magic. But were incredibly shocked upon realizing that, their holy magic wasn't working, against an undead. I don't know if it was specifically the empire as I haven't read the light novel in a few months, though, it was some group who went up against him.
Fun fact: when Ciel was awakening his subordinates into true demon lords and helping them to achieve their ultimate skills she ignored Shion. The reason is - she would of been so op that her power would of been enough to kill Rimuru

@@Monty2289 Hakurou is physical/swords man "master" (there are many characters that are more powerfull) but Shuna is magical/mystical "priest/princess" (idk what it was called) and her skill is based on enemies/source magic just liek adalman used desintegration, she used his power and multiplied it without using her magicules because she doesnt have many of them to free him from his curse to the land.
To be fair, Clayman is weak in terms of raw strength. He was only able to inflict damage on Rimuru because he manipulates like a master showman.

In the first place, goblins were one of the weakest monsters probably next to slime and ogres are one of the strongest, so I understand why they became the strongest among Rimuru’s guardians. The power or blessing they got from Rimuru from when they were named to Rimuru becoming a demon lord is basically proportional to their original prowess... remember that it took so much magicule to name Diablo? Does it make sense to give the same amount of magicule to a primordial demon as what you would give to an unnamed goblin? Although I agree that they get less screen time but when it comes to fighting battles, I think all the monster races get equal roles. As for Ranga, he’s pretty strong and much more so than Gobta but I don’t really see anything wrong with him being Rimuru’s bodyguard/shadow. I mean he seems to love the job..
Also, Shuna being stronger than Hakuro? That we don’t know. But there is a possibilty since she’s an Ogre Princess and Benimaru’s sister. Hakuro might be an excellent swordsman and have more experience in fighting, but as to who is more powerful, we will find out in the future.

I just want it said- Gabiru was one of the best reclamation project characters I have ever seen. I mean I genuinely wanted him to die as he annoyed me so for at least three episodes, but his character growth was so fantastic. One of my favorites now, in a show chalk full of awesome fun characters.

Same, after he fought the Orc Disaster, I started chanting his name when the others do.
He's grown a lot. Now he's a great scientist, fighter and general and has become dependable. He's matured a good bit too and even Ultima likes him(seems like the 3 girls all found a representative from a race to like, Testarossa liking Gobta and Carrera liking Geld) and helps train him.

Something else to note. Benimaru, Zegion and Diablo are the only subordinates of Rimuru who are able to stop time. And another thing about Nihility energy, it's not only stated to be able to destroy ANYTHING but also create anything as well. By the end of the series rimuru is capable of creating and destroying an infinite number of universes, world and universe are interchangeable in the series, so the fact that the top 3 are able to use even a fraction of that power is incredibly impressive.
I remember he also traveled to his formal world and gave a separate conciousness to it while healing its stabbed wound.

His Subordinates having Ultimate Skills is a testament to our Lord and Saviour, Rimuru Tempest's greatness.

This anime is getting so one-sided but I love that, and considering how op Rimuru is already he also has most of the strongest characters in the manga. He's unstoppable now and this for me is getting a lot more interesting. I love this series so much.
well think about it this way, we all know that the main protagonist is gonna win. what manga like that time I got slimed and overlord do is make you more interested in how people are gonna come up with killing the main protag then the protag getting stronger. it feels almost like dinner and a show.
Ln has moments were he have no chance, but win. And it happens every time. What's interesting it's all explained logically in ln via those phrase: Chloe went through 14 000 000 possible worlds and only one of them had Rimuru alive. So we are watching it

What I learned from this is that even the manga is barely scratching the surface of the LN. I've been following the manga ever since it was at chapter 30 yet there are still lots of characters that either went under the radar or haven't been shown yet.

As for the Insectors, IIRC Diablo makes a passing comment about it at some point first, but in the LN at least Sion faces off against one During an attack on the holy city, and it's revealed that it had been what the counsel had been using to secure their northern border with Guys territory, and during some of the more recent parts, at least for me vol 16-18 ish I think, the story goes into the nature of where they came from as it relates to one of the newer antagonists

It really depends on the kind of manga tbh. For example, HxH and Chainsaw man have a story where anything could happen, anyone could die at any moment, and lots of twist everywhere. It kills all suspense once you already know what's gonna happen. For Tensura, its kinda ok to get spoiled cus the animes best aspect is the characters, not the story (kinda). I mean the world building is good but its not the main focus of the anime

They specifically mention that her Great Chef skill basically boils down to "She gets the result that she wants" and that skill can also translate to her combat ability. Watching through all 64 episode in total (These are including the side episodes) made me actually really like the show.
Seeing these didn't confuse me, especially seeing Rimuru having such strong allies. I personally want to read the manga after watching the anime because I thought that it was really good.
Oh, and when watching the anime. I could not stop saying her in my head thinking about Rimuru because of the femimine voice and Shizue's face being a part of Rimuru's face after consuming her as her wish.
There are a couple things that are misinterpreted/difference in translation but yeah this is mostly correct. Also if anyone thinks that Zegion is stronger than Diablo, you're delusional. Diablo handicaps himself every time they fight because he doesn't want to attack the cells that Rimuru gave to Zegion. If Diablo actually tried to win he could with medium difficulty at most.

the funny thing is Adalman is an elite martial artist, but in tensura combat arts are stored in the flesh and being an undead skeleton he has no access to them. However in the Tenma war when fighting Dagrule he fused(hopefully temporally) with his pet dragon Wenti and restored his body to it's height and proceed to trade blows with a Giant who has an arua on par with a true dragon(one of dagrule's brothers who when fused almost beat down a full-power Veldora who only won due to a little help from Ciel.
But it feels like Zegion is battle orientated, whereas Diablo is an allrounder jack of all trades
Zegion for me is like a Magic Tank... He can tank magic attacks. Also he's a close combat specialist. That's why most Demons will have a hard time dealing with Insectoids like Zegion.

I recently read the web novel and it is really fun to see the little changes between the web novel and the manga/anime (I didn’t read the Light Novel so I don’t know if the changes started from there), for example in the web novel Kumara is a fox that Rimuru found on the Forrest and put her on floor 90 of Ramiris Laberinth, then on a latter date, she asked Rimuru to name her 8 friends, he agreed “not because she was a little girl” and since her friends were a part of her she evolved into the nine tail fox, becoming the boss of the floor in the process. After that is the same as in the video.
Also, Gobuta is part of the 12 generals taking Rangas place, but it doesn’t affect that much since Gobuta tends to fuse with Ranga during battle so in a way both are part of the 12 Generals.

Coming back to this, they knew what Kurama was doing but let it happen because she was still willfully serving him and was incredibly loyal towards him.
Then Adalmann was also quite powerful because he's able to wield both holy and demonic power. I believe that it was the eastern empire, they got through the gate and the small percentage of the people who got to Adalmann, used holy magic. But were incredibly shocked upon realizing that, their holy magic wasn't working, against an undead. I don't know if it was specifically the empire as I haven't read the light novel in a few months, though, it was some group who went up against him.
Fun fact: when Ciel was awakening his subordinates into true demon lords and helping them to achieve their ultimate skills she ignored Shion. The reason is - she would of been so op that her power would of been enough to kill Rimuru
Rimuru is in the top of food chain, he can also use shion skill, ciel can alter & erase shion skills also shion never will dream to kill rimuru
