And i'd still call gecs and underscores very very hyperpop. this is weird, but it's like if nas came out with Hip Hop Is Dead and like 50 Cent, Eminem, and George Bush Jr all retweeted it.

That’s far too low especially when you got songs like Pricey, Hunting wabbitz, and Trae truth in Ibiza. Only songs on here that could be considered a “Miss” are Fever and Pi. And when it comes to the Diss, the only reason you don’t like it because of the beginning and how much you disagree with it. Ok, Here's a hot take for ya then: The Forever Story is one of the most OVERRATED albums ever. Its a great album don't get me wrong, But it's not some 10/10 masterpiece like everybody acts like. I think there are a couple tracks that are kinda underwhelming tbh, I personally don't even think its a top 3 album of the 2020's, I think SIMBI, LP! & Melt My Eyez are more enjoyable experiences. SIMBI IMO does everything TFS does but better, Better rapping performances, Better concept & Much better production, It feels more grand and cinematic, TFS production isn't anything special to me personally, It's solid, At times great, But other times pretty generic for the lane its going for. Overall, Its like a solid 8/10. Great album, But is it better than J Cole's entire discography? Absolutely not lol I'm not even the biggest Cole fan but he has enough good albums in his catalog to keep up with ONE JID album lol, Now compare JID's entire discography to Cole's then ill agree, I actually enjoy DiCaprio 2 & TNS just as much if not more than TFS tbh.

And it's crazy cause I love JID, He's legit one of my favorite artists of this generation as well, And the way people talk about TFS is like it's this rare one of a kind life changing experience, But there's nothing quite that "Special" about the album for me, Some of the lyrical content is amazing for sure, But overall, The tracklist isn't much different from many other albums, Lots of highs, But a good handful of tracks that are just OK. Again, It's still a great, 8/10 level album to me and JID is still a top 5 artist of this generation for me, But yeah I guess I'll never understand the exact reasoning for people calling TFS a masterpiece.
