Good move on the grip swap, by the way. I paused the video several times, to try to find the actual cut lines (for future reference), but to no avail. That's some clean cutting, my friend. Mister Nathan I would beg to differ. I like the pump grip from the mk ii but with this combo, it looks like the mag is too close to the grip and in my opinion, I think the retaliatory looks better. :)

Both have offered me promo codes that were expired when i tried using them. I was psyched to get this pump kit for 20 percent off but then it didnt work. I would have dumped a couple hundred bucks between the two if i could have.....does anyone know if these sites are even legit?
This is VERY relevant to my current interests... Recently got a Retaliator to go with my Recon Mk. 2. Just getting into the modding hobby. The designs of both have their ups and downs, but I didn't see the point in butchering two guns to make one. Until now!

i ordered the pumpkit, when they sold it for around 34€. should arrive sometime the next two weeks. i choose the clear one, that will go on my clear (black tinted) retalicon.
i saw dis and i was like *can you get a Stryfe to shoot short length darts?* that would be amazing to see with a Vector kit and the “Ninja short length dart mags”
Short darts don't work as well in flywheel blasters as the smaller contact area of the darts will reduce performance. The longer the foam stays in contact with the flywheels, the better the performance.
I could inform you in a nutshell. Recon MK1 (original): Has a direct plunger where the spring is outside of the plunger making it have awful performance. Highly recommend transforming it to take the internals of a retaliator. Retaliator: Has a reverse plunger tube configuration where the plunger pushes the spring past the catch. This has more driving force for a dart to exit. Recon MKII: Has the same internals as a retaliator, from what I remember, and performs the same as its brother, the retaliator. Just so happens that when upgrading a Recon MKII, Retaliator parts can be used. Hope this helped a bit.

Just recieved my retaliator pump kit today. Did you have any fitment issues with the stock not wanting to latch due to the receiver cover plates interfering? Had to trim the plastic to make everything fit. Also may suggest to use the red dot to span the separation on the rail to act as a clamp to keep the barrel portion from flexing.
Banggood has a sale on worker ( worker not F10555 it is the metal one) for $30 until March 5, 2018. And I haven’t checked recently but orange mod works is having a sale on their stage 1 and 2 unleashed solid kits. It would be for cheaper than this kit and just as practical. Just a PSA.
Performance with that kit you installed needs a 10-12 kg spring to actually get average FPS of 100-120 FPS pretty consistent using the worker stefan darts.
Does anyone have new ideas for a recon MK1 shell? I have a retaliator with this kit and do not know what other options are out there for this kind of blaster.
This blaster already got parted out, the actually modded Recon-retaliator part is used in the Cheytac and the rest of it sans the stock were traded to a friend.
I saw the name Retaliatorecon and for some reason my mind went to make up better names for it, recaliator, retalicon then I thought of R words that sounded cool an I thought Recluse would fit pretty well as you said yourself taking that thing out in public isnt the greatest idea. But hey Walcom Warrior is good too, your blaster your name. (Recluse is a good name for a blaster I should write that one down)
Megafang Retalicon is already a used term in the Nerf community for an original/Sonic/Gear Up/Crimson Recon that has had Retaliator internals transplanted into it.
Been trying to find a nerf milsim or even a club to give me a little taste of competitive nerf. For some unfortunate reason I can’t find none in Scotland.

@@grenadeout562 Milsim is everywhere, lots of Nerf kits mimic milsim. It depends on your game though, because most NERF is played in public areas (kind of the advantage of the hobby) so realistic looking blasters is usually a big no. Doesn't stop you from painting one bright pink or something though. Check out some of the Worker kits for the Stryfe.

I've always wanted to see how this suppressor looks on a MCX retaliator...not it seems too low for the kit to be perfect.
why not try the ajustable grip from worker (avalible on amason dirt cheap for gold quality)

why won't the kit work with a recon mk2?
If you got the version of the stock that doesnt fold, would you still have to cut off that bit on the attachment point?

Pretty sure there's a gadget that lets you make your own stefan darts if you're willing to sacrifice normal nerf darts

Are pump action retaliators worth it? As a Springer type of guy I have always gone too the Longshots so your opinion is appreciated.
Space Cowboy some like it because pump action Retaliators are smaller and can perform almost as good as a longshot with an expanded plunger tube.
