Drifting Through Some of the Best Alpine Passes in Switzerland

- The Red Bull Driftbrothers set off on an eventful Tour de Suisse, which took them on spectacular drifts from Lugano over the Nufenen and Furka Passes to the Museum of Transport in Lucerne.
Vehicle control is the be-all and end-all of a successful drift - Elias and Joe Hountondji have mastered this art to perfection. As the Red Bull Driftbrothers, the brothers from Swabia have been competing at the top of the drift world for years. Now the two were on the road with their drift cars on a Tour de Suisse. They chose the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne as the destination of their tour, where their cars can be admired in the latest exhibition in the Red Bull World of Racing.
The Red Bull Driftbrothers started their journey in Lugano, from where they made their way to Lucerne with spectacular drifts. Drifting is the controlled oversteering of a vehicle. It is also the only motorsport on four wheels where, in addition to driving technique and skills, the driver's style is also taken into account in the assessment.
After arriving in Lucerne, Elias and Joe left their tyre tracks in the courtyard of the Swiss Museum of Transport. After their action-packed drive through Switzerland, things got more elegant afterwards: dressed in suits, the brothers were welcomed and handed over their cars to the museum. These can be seen in the new exhibition "The Road to Championship" in the Red Bull World of Racing.

In October/November 2021 i was in Switzerland, and I've seen marks of tires on the road. In my head it was "Well, I'm pretty sure it's a Redbull video". I've subscribed to this channel in the hope to see the video. Now I'm happy =)

As someone who lives in Switzerland, I’ve always dreamed of doing this!
A bit too much editing for my liking, I'd rather watch longer shots where i can see whats going on.
Take the Video where Mad Mike is drifting on the Franschhoek Pass (also by RedBull): not so heavily cut, music only in the background and you can follow the action far better in my opinion.

normalmente me flipan estos videos! pero a alguien se le fue la mano con la edición! cada 2-3 segundos hay un corte/cambio de imagen, y no te deja disfrutar del drift! o será que mis expectativas eran muy elevadas!

100%agree. this was more like a cutscene from need for speed not a drift clip where you can hear and see the cars fully doing it.

Ich als Hobby drifter, fuhrt letzten Freitag mal nicht mit dem Auto sondern Motorrad über die Pässe (wie fast jedes Weekend ;) ) .. und auf dem Furkapass sind mir eure Spuren aufgefallen.. dachte mir schon, dass sich da wer so richtig fein was in den Driftwinkel gestellt hat..... cool zu wissen das Ihr das gewesen seit ;) ..

very bad cutting and editing! i can not see one cleane and full drift... in one second feels like 10 times shifts and angleturns from the camera. and no antilag in the full video (no enginesound at all)...
these are one of the spectaculares cars ans absolute top drivers.
if they where filmed just having fun around there and no „hollywood“ editing, would have shown the real fun, spectacular and much besset clips.
so sad.... the driftbrothers are so amazing, the deserve videos like „gymkhana“ -style. but this looks like a very bad trailer of it

First. That's not an efficient way from Tessin to Luzern. We take for this the Gotthard Pass. Just jokeing. It was fun to watch. BUT. I have a challenge for RedBull. Do a Speed-Record in the Seelisberg-Tunnel. 9km. 2 lanes each side and mostly straight. I think everytime when i enter the Tunnel: "Just close the road for 10min. And then let it fly trough the hole tunnel. RedBull have the money and the connections to do something like this. Greetings from a Swiss-guy.

Love the cars. Too much editing - need longer shots of the cars actually drifting. Felt choppy and want to hear more engine noise.

I'm pretty sure some of the drifters and drift fans are dissatisfied, there's is no on board cam or foot cam whatsoever. We're drift fans and we want the whole drift, how the drivers drift through the pass. We don't cinematic scenes.

I find that the sound effects are very poorly controlled. The music and editing don't just feature what drift fans love...hearing an engine and tires screaming enough to overdrive the mics. At times I had the impression that you used the bank of sound effects, worse, to take directly the sounds of the videos of Penzoil (Joyride). The know-how of putting the music in the right place and raising the tension in a dynamic montage is not up to par in this video in my opinion.
