I know this is a hot take, but reeling in stripers on a boat gets old after like 6 fish if you aren’t catching big fish. Surf fishing adds a minimalistic element that is way more rewarding. If you like dialing in schools of bait with electronics and cheat code catching endless striper with a live well full of bait, good for you but I like going against the odds
