Love his open-mindedness! Thanks for sharing
Yet another interesting podcast, what a lovely chap and great philosophy towards photography. It really is an exploration of camera, techniques etc but ultimately the exploration of self. Awesome 😊
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Adrian is such a lovely guy 🙂
Couldn't agree more with Adrian on the power of printing. In fact, as I watch this I am printing of some images before I submit them to a competition (digital submission). It's the best way to view your photographs and you learn so much about them. I'm going to go over my submissions with a friend and doing that using prints is a much more engaging process. Anyways, another great episode!
Thank you Julian! So brilliant that you enjoy printing. Can totally see the benefits and experience that it can bring. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. I really need to get more into printing myself 🙂
@@PhotographicConnections You cannot beat going out to capture a photograph and then watching it come to life as it feeds out the printer. One of the walls in my office is covered with prints from a project I've been working on. It's such a good way of looking at a body of work. Hopefully you'll start printing yourself....you'll never look back. 🙂
This is my favourite 'connection' yet! So much wisdom in this discussion. And I love how Adrian tells us wisely that many people don't recognise their own gifts because those are the things that come easily to us and then he immediately downplays his own wisdom and ability to help us understand that😅 "I see amazing and talented people who just don't see it for themselves... Oh that's just me rambling" 😊
So glad you enjoyed this one Tess! There definitely is a lot of wisdom here. There was such great insights that he shared. Loved speaking with him.
'We don’t do convention' - I love it! What an inspirational man, I totally enjoyed listening to everything Adrian said. Once again this inspires me to do what I want to do photographically rather than try to stick to what might be considered convention, even to pushing the limits in Lightroom! Fantastic message, just do it your way. I can't hear this message often enough. Thanks Kim for another wonderful podcast.
That was really lovely. Adrian is very inspiring. I like the idea that there's something you can photograph in all weathers and places. Thanks Kim ❤
Great podcast Totally agree I love creating photos books for my family to enjoy since we all live so far away from each other. Its a wonderful way to stay inn touch and connected. Thank you much appreciated .
I also loved how he explained that until an image is printed that creative process is not complete. Absolutely! I am itching to get some of my images printed that I like and that others like so that they can be enjoyed as much as I enjoyed creating them 🙏🥰
Brilliant! All the best with the printing process
After watching I’m even more resolved to invest in a dedicated Monochrome camera.
