The beauty of this skirt is the fit …I can see why you feel like a million dollars ……..and looks sooo good ……reminds me of a Nicole Farhi suit I had in the late 80’s …..fitted so well ..very high waist too ….and v short fitted jacket into the waist ..pale pearl grey ….her pattern cutting was fantastic…… Feeling fab goes a long way to looking fab ! I loved the cream blouse and pearls with it ! Just elevated it even more for me . XX

I have a black wool pleated skirt that I have worn for years, yet it never fails to garner compliments. I thought your new cranberry skirt looked lovely with the black sweater and jacket, but it would also be striking with navy pieces, I think. Finally, thank you for the little nail tutorial. I have eschewed in-salon manicures since we entered the Covid era, so your advice is most appreciated.
I would always go for the black polo and black jacket - but that's just me (most of my wardrobe is black). Such a funny story about the shoes and the car park. So glad you enjoyed Cabaret. We went just after Christmas as our Christmas treat. Agree with you about Eddie Redmayne - totally different league. xx
