    Tina from Bobs Burgers just explained the dips to me as I wasn’t watching the screen. And I had to rewind several times as this was so relaxed it had me drifting off! Great explanation, much appreciated, thank you

    Thanks for the great explanation!
    The best explanation of the dip switches I found on RUclips .
    I understand how to use the settings better, and can now apply them in a confident manner.
    Thanks for teaching!

    Had the MOOD for a year and I love it but never felt brave enough to tackle the dip switches. This is great, you can get some great evolving pads with them. Thank you, subscribed.

    I think the second set of dip switches control if the ramp for each of those knobs rise (move clockwise) or fall (move counterclockwise).

      I have an OBNE Expression slider and I just got the Moog Expression Pedal. I'm thinking of doing a video about using expression with the CBA pedals in the future.

    This was really it! haven't even touched the dip switches, but your demo clearly showed what I am missing - thanks a million! (and how about the Thermae? Any plans on a demo on it?)

      I’m glad this was helpful! I would love to do a demo on it the Thermae, but I don’t have one yet. Hopefully in the future I can pick one up and do a few videos on it. 🙂

    Next up he explains the operation of the space shuttle.
    These are great videos. I played this pedal at the 2019 summer NAMM and knew I wanted one because it was fun.
    Finally got one. Goal is to be able to be in control of the pedal so it’s not a surprise when you do something
    I’m wondering if this is a live use pedal or just in studio when you can tweak the knobs
    You’ve done a great job showing how it works !
    Did you explain the middle bottom row switch. I may have missed that.

    • @kevwyxin
      @kevwyxin  4 года назад

      I definitely think it can be used live or in studio as I've done both with it. I'll admit that I've had some happy accidents though. ;)

    Congratulations! But if I want to connect it with another pedal, what settings should I put? Individually it works, but for example with a chorus it doesn't let out the signal? I don't understand what to do, do you have any advice? Thanks 🙏

    • @kevwyxin
      @kevwyxin  11 месяцев назад +1

      You don't have to adjust any settings to connect it with another pedal!

    Can an expression pedal do all the things the dipswitches do?

    • @kevwyxin
      @kevwyxin  Год назад +1

      It can control a knob, but it won’t automate the movement of the knob like half of the dip switches turn on or off. In other words, dip switches enable manual external control via expression pedal or automatic control internally.

    • @patrickr6505
      @patrickr6505 Год назад

      @@kevwyxin ok but can an expression pedal control 2 or more knobs at once or only one at a time?

    • @kevwyxin
      @kevwyxin  Год назад +1

      It can control as many as you switch with the dip switches to my understanding. So…all except the mix I believe.

      At the time of recording this video I don’t think I had an expression pedal or slider. Now I do, so maybe I’ll revisit a couple things.

    • @kevwyxin

      Yeah it’s easy, just plug in the expression pedal, flip the clock dip switch and go to town!

    What does ramping mean?

    • @kevwyxin
      @kevwyxin  3 года назад +1

      It's just another word for modulation. If you think in the context of the knobs, they are "ramping" (i.e. moving from fully counter-clockwise or 0% to say Noon or 50%) because the value is changing from one to another and then back. Another way to think of it would if you think of a triangle wave it looks like this ... /\ ... which is kind of like a ramp. Hope this helps!
