I saw 9 To 5 in the previews.. THE funniest musical Ive ever seen, by far! The cast is perfect, and Im going back to see it ASAP. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great night FULL of laughs! (I love Stephanie and Megan too! They are super, super nice!!!)
Darn! I heard there was a new 9to5 being made and I thought it would be the original 3 ladies. I was looking forward to that, all 3 are still so active and vibrant.
I thought it was SUCH a shame that Stephanie and Megan didn't get nominated at all for a Tony! I thought Allison Janney did a good job, but she wasn't amazing. I thought the other two deserved a Tony as much or more than she did. But it's over now. What will be will be.
this might be the Marquis Theatre's first success in a long time! Drowsy Chaperone, The Pirate Queen, White Christmas, and Young Frankenstein all never lasted more than two years!
no, i no your're right - i get the two hotels mixed up (Hilton and Marriot Marquis), sorry. but I wasn't saying that I thought Drowsy Chaperone was a flop, it was a SHAME it didn't run longer.
