It would be awesome if you interview Andrew Tate. I’m certain it would be a very edifying conversation and you might actually change any misgivings or misconceptions you have of him.
My Grandson, a med student, who he and I discuss life, living life and it's challenges suggested I listen to Lex on utube. Best advise the young man gave to his grandpa.
I have had people tell me I should be a therapist. The only thing I do is ask something simple and wait. Literally, say basically nothing and people tell me their life stories.

@@pigslave3 That's the weird part. I don't really like a lot of people. I think that so many people are just uncomfortable with silence they just can't help themselves and start talking so as not to be uncomfortable.
I’ve been a therapist over 30 years, largely retired now. There’s a great deal more to it than that, though these days a blind dog with a note in its mouth can be a therapist. I’d go so far as to suggest that most therapists and psychologists these days are a part of the problem they are purporting to cure. What I’m suggesting is that the quality of listening you may have used to be way more normal but has become a rarity because people are so self absorbed and lacking in concentration
It’s not humans that are afraid of silence and conversation, but rather a western phenomena. In the Middle East silence is used, skillfully during negotiations and deployed with particular affect against Westerners….

Hey Lex, would you have any interest to interview Eminem? I think he is underrated as a person, has a story and it would get alot of views. Idk if Em would be up to it or not though

The silence when talking to Elon Musk is not him trying to stall or be a jerk, but it is his computer mind, deep thinking, and analyzing massive amounts of stored data in his mind, to think up some brilliant answer.

Easiest job in the world.
Also perfectly fruitless.
Yes. Only an Intelligent and powerful person can be silent when is an external pressure to talk. When you are silent you can focus better.

Lex : "The nature of the podcast medium is I'm a 1 night stand kinda girl"
😂😁
Lex with that 1 liner :)
Awesome interview Lex, absolutely awesome

Journalists used to turn up to his office…, and talk.

He listened to them. He learnt a lot. They learnt nothing. Their readers learnt nothing either.
To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's.Thanks.
This is also how to talk to your children.
Sometimes silence and conversation in a long car ride can bring out the best in your relationships.
Think it’s because it’s always a challenge to represent yourself truthfully and you facilitate that which your guests can sense
This whole conversation is next level 🎚️
Walter Isaacson is the best biographer in the world

Would be interesting, but the dude seems irrational at the moment.
12:20 with one night stand i´ll have regrets...with your show i´ll have zero regrets. Zero.

Respecting silence
I thunk it's best to ask a question by screaming it at someone like Sam Kinnison😂

Lex, you should post some clips with Elon where you don’t edit out his silences

It was good until the very end, when Lex said he’s a one night stand kind of girl. What the heck?! What is he implying?
