You probably made the best decision of your life. I have done the same thing, not to Greece, but to another Southern European country, and my only regret is I waited too long to do it. Americans were sold a bill of goods about how it is the greatest place to live, true if your only goal is to make more money but end up spending all of it on junk you buy for therapy.
Santorini was certainly not formed 700 years ago. It was a nice round island until 3600 years ago, when the volcano erupted, destroyed the advanced civilization of the island and created a tsunami that destroyed the Minoan culture in Crete. That’s when the island took its present “broken” form.

Should move to Heraklion Crete. The island is self sustaining, affordable, very low unemployment, many expats live here and Crete was not affected by the economic crisis.

Car malheureusement le seul inconvénient c'est que il y a des secteurs ou tu auras une forte demande mais pas de poste.

And the funny thing is, Greece is incredibly diverse in it's incredible beauties. Do some true research, of Greece's 80% mountains, breathtaking landscapes around the mainland, the 6000 other islands around the mainland each also gorgeous. 16.000 km of the most crystal clear beaches, highest biodiversity in Europe, incredible culture, unparalleled history, heavenly food, and so on. It's a country that I can truly call paradise.

Greece has the most Beautiful water and Beaches.. If anyone can afford ro move to another Country i wu'd suggest to do it while your not on your 60's or 70's so if you dont like it there where u Migrates u can go back to the US or what ever Country you Originaly come from because later when your old and not able to travel and Migrate to places u wish u did it earlyier in your Younger Age you will Regret it.. Your financial status, your job skills and you certainly have to study to read, write, speak and understand spoken Greek. Plus you either have to buy some house or land in order to obtain a permanent visa or be invited here by some employer. In general it's wise to first just visit for some weeks before taking a such a large step like moving. You asked about "any info" which is way to general. You have to ask specific questions in order get them properly answered...

...the sane step is to contact either the Greek embassy in your country or at least your country's embassy at Greece for any info of the likes - however : yes, you have to be at least 18. Working visas can be issued after having come to an agreement with some employer and he'll send you a formal invitation. Citizenship is a whole different story - you either have to get married to a Greek or at least spend a great lot of time working here (something like more than 10 years or so) in order to apply for one.

greece is beautiful but i would never move to an island for several reasons, especially after the covid hysteria which was the worst in the world in greece (and its not over yet) . corruption is very very very high , the political system is unbelievable corrupt, they can do things right in ur face and the media will just downplay or even ignore everything , because they are paid millions by the governments, the health system is nonexistent , good luck surviving in a hospital u will need it, beurocracy and doctors need a "fakelaki" (just google it , it has its own entry lol) to function properly and u better learn to use it if u want within ur lifetime to get things done xd. all in all greece is a 3rd world country within the eu and its beautiful but u have to cope with all the flaws any 3rd world country has, the good thing is if u are independend enough and dont need a job in greece u will have a great time , even with a job u can get along but man u need free time to enjoy ur stay in greece and the jobs here are often 10-12 hours a day.
All these people who make the videos! Don't get me wrong! I appreciate that they are making these videos, but their perspective is very limited. Nevertheless, they try to enlighten the rest of the world with their point of view. They go to Greece for a few days, visit 2-3 places, and then they have a solid opinion about whether to live in Greece or not. How can you understand what living in a place is like when you are just a tourist for 1-2 weeks?
