At 24 you are so young, so much of the world and experiences are waiting for you, so many memories and adventures and friends going towards you.. saying i love this is an understatement. there is something about the female gaze that is just so beautiful in how it communicates a feeling through the way a woman sees things and places and moments. also, it is important to learn how to be alone in our twenties and not be defined by anything outside our own. this transition from girlhood to womanhood is really a great and delightful journey to build a holistic understanding of our identity as women. living a soft yet significant life.

I'm turning 30 in a couple weeks and feeling so appreciative of the grace I learned to give myself in my early twenties. You have so many good things ahead of you! I think birthdays also always feel a bit weird because we have such sub conscious (or conscious sometimes) expectations of what it will be like or how we will feel that when it’s just another day aside from the fact that it’s our birthday, we feel lightly disappointed or sad. It can also just be emotional and sentimental to get older even when one is still so young and when one can experience happiness and love at any age. I relate and understand completely!! But either way and all ways, happy belated birthday, and I’m excited to see your vlogs! I think I sort of found your channel through your Paris diaries as the first one about moving came out and have been following them ever since- it’s been such a joy!! I've been following your journey for quite a while now and something that always strikes me is the way I feel sentimental when watching your videos. The way you capture life and moments through your eyes which you want to savour and keep in your documentation is also vulnerable in a way that another person would have wanted to nourish in their private minds and bodies. But the way that you share them and put your thoughts into words for your audience to participate and relate to is so beautiful. Your vulnerability is perceived and appreciated. I am grateful to be able to have this weird connection to you, knowing you but still being a stranger, and having these conversations and you putting into words things that I always think about and feel, which is so powerful.
im so so happy you went to greece this year I mean that so much I feel like crying... this whole video filled a void i needed his summer at least for 19 minutes and 33 seconds. I used to leave in greece and left when I was 10 years old when i Ieft it behind and moved across the ocean to Canada. I used to spend all my summers by the beach with my grandparents on the perimeter of a not touristy island just a slow calm one, like the one you went to. Even the black bed frame of your bed reminds me of the one i shared with my sister every summer

Girl... i'm so grateful you shared about feeling weird on birthdays. Birthdays have been one of the hardest days of the year for me. Especially the past 2 years. I just cry all week.
And after reflecting (using Tarot as well), it totally makes sense why... there's a lot of anxiety that comes from us being BORN, why we're here, whether we are wanted or not, etc. anyway, it might be different for you ofc but thought I would share what I learned too. ❣️

Gosh, I don't know what it was that did it for me but I was more than halfway through your vlog and I got super emotional. I'm so happy that you enjoyed Greece. My first visit there was during covid right after Canada opened its borders for travel and there was something truly magical about my trip there (maybe it was just coming out of one of the longest lockdowns in the world and my depression that was lifted) but I experienced some of the most unreal sunsets in Greece. I was with one of my most dearest friends and like you, we diverted off to hidden islands on Greece off from all of the tourists. I turn 27 soon and I will be heading back to Europe to spend time in the south of France and I resonate with you on the internal anxious/overwhelming feeling on your bday. For me its always been about thinking through all the things I have let to do and explore on this planet and the older I get, the shorter my time in the world is. It makes me feel grateful for the simple moments in life, like watching a sunset from a castle... and happy belated bday :)
