- Tropical Storm Ian is forecast to become a hurricane by late Sunday in the Caribbean and to continue to strengthen into a menacing storm for western Cuba and Florida’s Panhandle.
Hey everybody stay safe don’t let the weather push you around✨✨✨✨
Well we don’t let gators, pythons, Biden, mandates, Fauci, the north or anyone else push us around. The weather stands no chance.

I totally agree🙂
Unfortunately, everyone who lives in Florida knows we can’t trust multiple day forecast tracks because they almost always have more complicated trajectories and deviate at last minute.
Exactly. Which is why I like to consider my gut feeling after gathering all of their info. I appreciate them, but I also agree with you. Can’t take every forecast as definite.
Your comment makes no sense. What were you trying to achieve with this comment? The weather people use SCIENCE and probability to make very intelligent and educated guesses and predictions, which are almost always accurate. They are not 100% accurate (nothing is), but they use what technology they have to make their predictions! Would you prefer if they don't? I don't get you freaking dummies!
@@jamdawgutube yeah Sean and they're usually wrong. For the past two weeks it's been supposed to be torrential downpours in my area. It's been a couple spotty rains but nothing bad. Meteorology is literally a useless science. I understand you're probably a snowflake and don't understand that. Heck over the past two years we've had many hurricanes supposedly in the direct path right to my area. Nope. Haven't had a direct hit since 2005. Was ironic is right after the direct hit you had all the scientists going on TV saying because of global warming Palm Beach county was screwed. We were going to get hit in rapid succession over the next few years. Well they were wrong again. You're probably one of those promask libtards.

For my fellow Floridians that laugh at hurricanes and act like it’s a big joke, I too was once like you. I too laughed until Hurricane Michael came and DESTROYED my city and the one next door along with 19k acres of trees. We were unprepared because we didn’t think it was a big deal. We lost power and water for weeks. Looters and creeps preyed on vulnerable people. There was no help at all for the first week. It was chaos. We weren’t allowed to leave nor were we allowed to enter our area the first two weeks due to downed power lines, parts of houses and glass everywhere. No phone signal, just a make shift radio station without music with the voices of very exhausted local radio hosts that lost their homes. The hosts tried talking to us to keep us calm relaying any scraps of information they heard through the grapevine. We had no contact with the outside world for a whole week and some even longer. We are still rebuilding. Please take the warnings more seriously, I wish we had! It came so fast and so violently we didn’t have a way to evacuate with our pets. All evacuation routes were complete chaos as everyone tried to leave at once. Keep in mind that if you do not have a plan in place, hotels can get pricey. Those that left and wanted to return to their homes couldn’t for two solid weeks. That’s two weeks of hotel fees. Please set up a good plan! The day before it happened we thought it would be a no big deal like the many hurricanes before it. Little did we know we would find our world upside down. Please stay safe, prepare and tuck food and water away. Fill your bath tubs with water. You will thank yourself later.
I chased Michael in Panama City. It was an abomination of a storm.
@@stormmccree8238 it truly was! did you get any good footage of it?
I appreciate the info. just opinion ---I think it's the news so many times it is not what they try to predict, and many of us think it is all connected to a marketing scheme the weather become an ad. lots of there opinion, not facts. we also wish/praying for everyone's safety.

Exactly, I've lived in PR, the Philippines, Gulfport Mississippi and over 30 years in Florida. First this storm was gonna slam Tampa... now it's gonna hit the panhandle...they have no clue as to where it will hit until it gets there. Days away and they get people panicking for no reason. Remember the big hurricane that hit the Keys 5 years ago, that hurricane was suppose to go up the east coast and low and behold it came up on the west coast where I live.
Being here in Florida I learned that US weather forecast is never right until it is almost about to hit. By far I only trust the Euro model since it is always able to predict the path correctly historically.
I thought that too
I just lick my finger and feel for the wind direction now
Good comment everything u said is true

Miami Beach is on the other side and it’s not even a category most of us care about. Most likely we will just shoot at it and drink beer.

I like how they keep saying "category 4 category 4" even though the models they're citing clearly show it tapering off in to a category 2 by the time it makes landfall.. fearporn spewing liars
They cant predict tomorrows weather but now I am supposed to believe they can predict ground-zero for a hurricane thats still 5 days away?
Living in Florida I usually start paying attention when its 48hrs away. By then the cone is much much smaller and easier to project. Untill then........its a dog chasing its tail.
You're conflating larger coherent weather systems and the momentum of a hurricane with emergent weather patterns that can change on the dime of Brownian motion. Predicting whether there will be rain at any given hour is actually much harder, and emergent, than a hurricane's path. Physics 101 is a dog chasing down its food bowl and scarfing down.

Why is the storm becoming a 3 then a 2 when it isnt even hitting land and only water? Why is it weaker?

I'm watching somebody live stream this on Tick Tock right now and from Florida winds and lightning
We still lack a fully clear answer and won't have one until Tuesday AM, approximately.
It's gonna be bad. I didn't say anything about the Fiona because I knew that that was not gonna be as bad that it would die down And that yeah it's going to do what it does but it wouldn't be very bad. This one You need to be prepared For a while. You need to have at least 2 weeks of supplies.
I live in Tallahassee, and this city cannot handle a storm with 90 + MPH winds. Canopy oak trees and old growth pine trees abound in this city.
I know. That whole county is so beautiful. How old are they? We have the naval oaks here in pcola area. They are cool too, hey that rhymes
Hold on now. Were Florida we do this often. We will weather the storm and hope for the least amount of damage
@@jamescosta1174 there are oaks here that were here when Tallahassee was founded in 1824. I don't even know how old they are, but we don't get hurricane force winds in Tallahassee. We had areas that lost power for more than a week when we had 50 mph winds.

Take a sharpie to it and make it veer west.
Meh come on, talk to me when it is a category 5 or so
Floridians panic buying everything because the news said so. Watch this hit Honduras and fizzle out 🤣🤣
Well, it is always good to prepare. Hurricanes are very unpredictable and models keep on changing. It's always better to overdo it than to worry about not being as safe
Until it hits and people do lose their homes or lives get lost.
I mean last time my back yard tree fell and a friend of mine we got lucky it didn't hit the house. We had went to Georgia and we came back to this
@@laureltaylor4535 or they could wait until they have a better understanding of its path. Instead of declaring the entire west coast of Florida from the Keys to Pensacola is going to be hit by a Cat 4 storm. Most homeowners who have means to financially prepare for hurricanes have supplies on hand prior to hurricane season. This is fear mongering for profit.
This did not age well....

Based on a tiny change in the earth rotatation today, and without further lenghty explanation, the public highly excited Ian of a rare tropical event season will be dead once it heads north into the Gulf. NOAA won't put its bet on it because of the rumbling hyped media.
Goodbye for Ian in its early-gone means a goodnight for NOAA to sleep well with no worry on Ian anymore.
Currently, NOAA puts its bet on the Ian's north-eastern path of a massive high hur cat . .. It's a safe-bet based on the ex fiona storm behaviors... Ian comes from the caribe by the LaNiña steam over the narrow southern part of C.Amer. Ex fiona was a seasonal migration across the Atlantic ocean.
