    Great video Voro! I have been trying to learn this maneuver for a few days on the SIM before I try on my new parkzone SU 29MM. I have not been very successful at all. I watched your video once and now I can do both inverted and normal flat spins! Thanks so much for your videos and time! I will be watching all the rest of your videos tonight, hopefully I can have similar luck with the rest of the maneuvers you posted. Thanks again man!!!!

    If you aply little more throttle the nose will pick up and your you can delay more your fall. But if you aply to much your airplane will roll. You need the wright amount of throttle to make a perfect flat spin. Nice toturial!!!

  • @wildcardjoker
    @wildcardjoker 10 лет назад +4

    On some of nose heavy planes ive had to add throttle to keep the nose up. if not it falls out of spin by adding a little throttle it keep the level. awesome flying by the way. great vids

    Trick... if you are going to go with Right Rudder then do right aileron during the fall, but if you are going to do left then go left aileron

    Right after you get into the vertical nose dive, you fully deflect the aileron to get the plane into the spin dive first before deflecting the rudder and elevator. What is that function of that spin dive?

    Hi Voro , i have a PA Addiction x and i love it , i cant do the rolling harrier quiet yet but im still practicing , i have just got a PA mini Katana and it fly's so bad , i had to add lots of nose weight but it still fly's so different to the addiction x , would you say that smaller planes are harder to fly or is it because of the style of plane , as the addiction x is made for 3D and the mini katana is more of a style of a real plane ?? Would you practice with just one plane to learn 3D or do you think its best to fly differant air frames ?? many thanks , your videos are so helpful , Scott .......

    • @krotchlickmeugh627
      @krotchlickmeugh627 3 года назад +1

      Yes and no. Doesnt react the same with a high wing.
      As you probably have learned by now.
      The plane will always want to rotate around the center of gravity.
      On a high wing plane the center of gravity may be in the same relative area. However it is then moved up to the wing so youd basically be trying to spin with all the weight too high and you'd fall out of it

    I've never seen a plane that'll do a flat spin without adding some opposite aileron and maybe some throttle. A spin with just rudder and elevator and no ailerons is just a spin. The plane in this simulator doesn't look all that realistic..

    Does anyone else think it's really weird to have a model aircraft flight simulator? Why not an actual plane flight simulator?

    • @VintageTechFan
      @VintageTechFan 9 лет назад +5

      Makingnewnamesisdumb
      Because model aircraft simulators are there to train flying model aircrafts. Simple as that.

    • @Makingnewnamesisdumb
      @Makingnewnamesisdumb 9 лет назад

      DL3CE Wouldn't flying a scale model aircraft in a sim be the same as flying a real aircraft in a sim? I guess the difference is you use your model aircraft controller to do it.

    • @VintageTechFan
      @VintageTechFan 9 лет назад +1

      Model aircraft generally have significantly different flying characteric from real ones:
      Especially aerobatic models are WAY more agile and have WAY more engine power in relation to their weight than fullsize ones .. Thrust:Weight ratios of 2:1-3:1 are perfectly normal, in reality only fighter jets with afterburnes may archieve that. Because of that, many of the maneuvers which are possible would most likely kill a living pilot inside there (you quite easily can get 20 Gs and more).
      Even small training models typically leave the ground after a few meters and are able to climb out in 40-50° and do 360° circles in a few seconds (a standard turn in 1:1 aviation is 2minutes for 360°).
      You see, there are many reasons for specialized products for this market.
      And yes, you use your real RC .. that's essential to get the correct eye-hand reflexes.

    • @bernardw4842
      @bernardw4842 7 лет назад

      The main reason you want a special RC sim is point of view - flying RC, you're standing on the ground looking up at the model, in "normal" flight sim's you're sitting in the cockpit. Very different experience. The main use for RC sim's is as training for flying real models, and it does take practice and teaching. You ARE going to crash, accept it! But a sim lets you make the mistakes you need to learn from, without it costing you a crash each time. They're also designed to let you use a real RC transmitter (Tx) as the controller, which is important for getting the feel and skills of using it for the field. Remember, some of these guys are entering serious competitions, maybe going for significant prize money, so they need a way to train, and you can't always physically get somewhere to fly day after day to get that training. I totally learned to fly RC with a simulator - I had sessions with instructors, but can only go so often, so a simulator is really handy. It doesn't seem weird when what you're trying to do is learn RC specifically and get some experience, actually it turns out to be the best way and just what's needed.
