Besides the NG+ being an extra $15, this game is looking to be an extremely good one, though I do suggest that Sega does not get too greedy to hurt the reputation of a game getting as much attention as this
thing is, NG+ isnt the only thing on that DLC, the extra dungeon ir more than enough, not everyone plays ng+ but im sure a lot of ppl will want to play the extra dungeon, which is a post game thing
The problem is that blocking the ng+ behind a dlc made a lot of talks because it's a huge case and now everyone is trashing on RGG studio meanwhile the real devils are Sega

(honestly as soon as the game was available for pre order on steam, i didn't care about the prices or even look at the extra content, I just bought the ultimate bundle lmao, I call it a business expense)

its a cheap move from sega ( its not rgg fault) but for me i finish normally all substories in the first run doin a lot activities as well ,so no big deal for me that i cant fight amon im not really a 100% hunter im sure the extra dungeon is the same like the final dungeon just with difference enemies, 420 peace from germany

@@NoCash19 Yeah, the marketing on Infinite Wealth has been wonderful, but most games other than Sonic before this had very limited advertising. Mostly just relying on a few social media posts, a trailer or two, and word of mouth. Infinite Wealth has been a massive step up in that department.

SEGA is slowly becoming the new Japanese EA. I don't know who made the decision to put NG+ behind a paywall, but its so scummy. They know very well that no matter how hard we speak against it, people will buy it anyway, or wait for a sale months later and then buy the game. Love it or hate it they will continue doing this.
Look at Alan Wake 2, that game got NG+ as a free update but here? 15$ for a NG+? Awesome, can't wait for them to lock Legend difficulty behind a paywall in Judgment 3 or Like a Dragon whatever

Technically, Legend is behind a paywall, but it's different than normal, it's designed for New Game +. Not that we should be paying for that in the first place.
Also, just buy the game, and not the DLC. That way, you get the game, and can still show you're against scummy pratices

Makes sense to put NG+ on the ultimate and Deluxe editions, if you're a die hard fan anyway, you would buy the Ultimate edition at the very least and wouldn't be any the wiser that NG+ is locked behind them 2 editions, as for newbies to the Yakuza game that hasn't touched previous Yakuza titles, it's a source of a small amount of extra income for Sega if the newbie should want to start a NG+ in keeping their progress. So long as NG+ can be bought from the add on section separately in the Microsoft store.

It'll never happen. Why you ask? Bc people will buy it up like hotcakes. It'll set a standard moving forward and more games will do it. If people buy it why wouldn't the companies do it? Bastante contenido adicional siempre trajeron los Yakuza, ahora lloran por la partida+, pero se quedan callados cuando se les ofrece gran cantidad de contenido a precios irrisorios. Igual no estoy de acuerdo con hacer de pago dicho contenido.

Igualmente. Creo que compraré la versión estándar esta vez. Fue muy decepcionante el dlc de Gaiden que traía a Majima, Saejima y Daigo como luchadores, cuando perfectamente te los podrían haber dado sin pagar extra como todos los otros personajes. Y para lo que valen, sus movesets están demasiado recortados y nerfeados.
