i remember hearing a former developer of battle eye saying that battle eye can only work well if the anti cheat is developed with the game. when the game adds it after the the fact its just a band aid fix
Quitting Tarkov a year ago has been the best decision ever, since then ive heard only bad stuff, the continuing hacker issue, bad corporate decisions by BSG, and now this bullshit.
it actually is a criminal offense, when you agree to the TOS you basically sign a contract and agree not to alter their game they just never pursue it. remember when fortnite came out? they were actually taking people to court in the beginning

Can i just say - my stats are bugged and show inflation like 99k raids and 99k kills and it looks like a cheater edited my stats. I did tickets with bsg and still they have not fixed it!!! they asked me to restart the game.. they don't even know... Now i am afraid to play and kill anyone cause i might get banned so i scav and wait for them.. 250 dollar game
Battleeye didn't find this on their own, someone posted the bug on a cheat developer forum, the interesting thing is, the person that posted it on the forum was Destroyer2009, the person that is known apex hacker that hacked Hal during the ALPS tournament.
I'll not be coming back to tarkov, my account was letterally stolen from the "inside", who was trying to get access to my tarkov account DIDN'T have access to my email, And didn't have my password. They HAD ACCESS TO BSG'S RECOVERY MAIL... And since i wasn't kicked out of my email i kept resetting the password. At one point the mail that get's sent when someone logs in was different, thw first 3 times was showing an american random ip witch changed between mails. Then the last one was a russian ip... since that one the only other email i recieved from them was " fuck " in russian. Still have that account, probably won't play it anymore.
If this was an issue in Tarkov streamers would be the very first to be getting banned left and right. I have not seen anything to suggest that is happening. Me personally I wouldn't take this to serious. Id say its a one off exploit in other games. If however streamers start getting banned live. Then we have an issue. The very first thing someone who knew how to do this would do is go straight to a stream and watch there work unfold. I personally wouldn't post this because now every dude who was banned recently has a sad poor me story to tell of why. LOL
Whatch the new interview with the cheater in EFT and see how they have hacks not detected years 😂 and the cheater said in every game is full of cheaters at least 2 cheaters minimum. In Europe is the worst situation and North America is better, there have not so many players playing with cheats but still have. And almost every famous streamer who "run and gun" in Tarkov using cheat. I am sure BSG knows but are drinking idiots who can't do anything.

This security hole is apparently not unique to battleeye as marauders got hit with the same issue while using a different anti-cheat.
