We lost our home and everything in it 2 years ago on June 5th.... I didn't re buy anything I had before , I took it as an opportunity to start fresh and try new looks.
Karen, that happened to me… I lost all my clothes and shoes in a fire! The only clothes I had at that point was what was on my back. I’ve always been in to fashion, I had quite an extensive wardrobe. Beautiful clothes I had bought in Italy, and in France,ect….In a way it was very freeing. I used the insurance money to buy my art studio that I now live in. My whole life has improved. I’ve never been happier! And most of the clothes that I bought are preowned that I bought at thrift shops.
I don’t understand why people would complain about your enthusiasm. I think we’re all a little high and dry for joy these days. Half the time I watch your videos I don’t care about the clothes. I just want to see someone who is excited about creativity and self-expression. Go figure 😂😂😂😂😂🤷🏻♀🥰
Sometimes I wonder if the people who donated items that are now beloved by Karen are filled with regret or if it makes them happy. I can picture them watching these videos and feelings both type of ways! I know I've donated things that I wish I could get back but I hope the next person loves and uses them as much as I did. 😊

In 2019/20 I lost my home in the mega bushfire in Australia. I lost everything I own including my two horses. Anyway I have find very difficult to restart again. My life as changed and as well the way I look at fashion. Because my beloved bags was lost forever I am now on the "second hand" items. I am afraid to lose it again and I prefer to buy more cheaper. Cheaper doesn't mean poor quality but I love it !! I do the same for my clothes and I have noticed the change in the way I buy clothes. I am more award now.
I weed my closet twice a year. My local women's shelters benefits and weird as it sounds keeps my closet not quite minimalist but a pleasure to look at. 😊
I finally got a new Kelly 25 sellier in box leather from the boutique last Christmas and I am in awe of the beauty of this bag every day that I use it ♥♥
