  • As the new generation of cameras is coming, a new generation of the lens will follow, like the #Laowa #15mm #f/2 Zero-D promises a wide-angle with no compromise in quality, specifically on 0 distortions. I test it in different situations and focus on #astrophotography (because of its aperture of F2), and time-lapse.

Nice lens you got there! Interested to see milky way shots with this lens. Day time shots looked good. Milky way season is coming and hopefully clear skies. It looks like summer we be starting to get back to normal again and my Pixel 4 will be alot of fun. It's f1.7 super wide views and can't wait to get into those dark areas again.
I don't normally believe many reviews on youtube because most people get things from companies and the reviewer gives brilliant review and it's not as good when you get it. I believed the hype of reviews on Samsung s7 smartphone camera and low light and S7 camera isn't as good as youtube reviews. My Canon 700D I went blind into camera as I didn't know much about it and it's proved to excellent for astrophotography even with kit lens. I've took great shots from it. Hauwei P20pro smartphone camera is fantastic in low light and I've been so impressed with it. The way things are going Hauwei will be better than Canon in few years. Hauwei used a big camera maker in germany to make Hauwei p20 camera len even better and it shows. Hauwei P50 pro that's going to push low light even further. Even Gopro action cameras are doing astrophotography and will improve. It's a market that all companies can gain. Samsung s21ultra smartphone can do fantastic milky way shots that look professional. It's more fun for us to have more choice for astrophotography and new devices in the future. This summer I'm going to do astrophotography with my Canon 700D Pixel 4 and GoPro plus Hauwei p20 pro because it will give me alot of fun. Your channel shows how much fun you can have with dslr and smartphone together! Stay safe buddy!

      Hi! Thanks!
The only problem of this cameras are a very small sensor, the number μm of the individual pixel size, even if it has a bigger aperture...!
      Good luck shutting! 😉

I tried to use this lens for the first time last night. Lots of frustration getting focus right on my R, since with this lens on the body, I can't tap the screen to pull up a focus assist point. Is there an item in the menu to turn this on? Seems to work on every other lens when I switch to manual.

Some have! But also have the contact pins for this. This one is completely zero connections and any assistance help!

Is manual focusing very hard on the R6?

Hi! No, because it has a lot of focus assistance. I just use digital zoom 5x and 10x

    Tape your lens focus

Hi Kurt! Yeah I could! But f2 is now so bright that you can do it more precisely with digital zoom! But if a lens is f3.5 or less is so hard to find the stars that ducktape it is just simpler!
