Rather sad as a Brit to watch these marvelous aircraft fly around with Spanish markings. A great Nation once.

Brits now have the later F35. Apparently a much better alternative.

Don't be so harsh on the tail markings,be happy some are still flying! I grew up watching phantoms most evenings at RNAS Yeovilton(HMS Heron) in Somerset, the most fantastic aircraft of its time and still used now but in small numbers(Greece is one)and had two on display,I would have died a happy man if they'd been flying one more time that I could see. I spoke to two young ladies from the ground crew and they love them. Japan almost worship them and have special marking to celebrate times of their history. And also have only recently stopped flying them on missions, but if needed I bet they'd use em again. I don't care who's markings are on the tail,it's the pilots and the aircraft that are important. Aircraft from all nations are fantastic to see flying, anyone who keeps them airworthy is a top team in my book. Not attacking your thoughts as they are your own, just giving my opinion on the comment. Final word from an ex phantom pilot- two seats, two engines and one kick ass airplane! RIAT was great, thank you to ALL who made it possible,my first time to this one and I'll be back next year.

Now that is a rare kind of footage.
    A Harrier air demo.
My favorite jet just for the sole timeless awesomeness of its hovering abilities.
Now the F-35B has taken its place

Probably the best aircraft that we in UK ever produced. A magnifient machine that could take off and land like a helicopter, and even fly backwards. An engineering masterpiece.

When flown to max capability, the Harrier is in a class act of its own.
Have seen these aircraft at displays down the years showing off even more stunts than this one did.
I like to think of Harrier as the V/STOL equivalent of an A-10 because they are both uniquely something else, in close support in the field of action. 🙂👍

I was an aircraft tech in the RAF when these were in service. I am SO ANGRY that the UK BINNED THE HARRIER and bought the useless F35 (which most of the time is unservicable) and they cost several million each - the Harrier didnt and was more versatile. Shameful that we have NONE preserved in the UK for air displays we have to get foreigners in. There are many air worthy aircraft in the UK that will NEVER be allowed to fly as 'heritage aircraft' like the Lightning - 2 of these are kept in top condition but will sadly never fly in the UK. Anywhere else - YES. The USA love them.
