Stock sounds better than expected because it sounds 'clean' and contemporary to be driving around town and the neighborhood. Its not obnoxious like the 16yo down the street that just got a Roush Mustang... ATAK sounds best because its hardcore and is a noticeable improvement.
See, sound means nothing to me as i'm not a manchild who likey da big noiseys. The stock exhaust is ample, it's all about performance. Most consistent i've heard of at this point is the cobb stage 2+ with the accessport. According to reviewers, it's a safe bet for a decent tune, with hard parts and the accessport together in one package. I'd rather go faster, and not wake up everyone in 5 square miles than slower, or same speed and be a complete fucking nuisance when i go out for the night.
@@dodo19923 5 Star Tuning is where it’s at for the Ecoboost. I have their E50 tune and it flies. Cobb is known more for imports.

Just installed ATak. It’s ok. Nothing great or even close to a v8 but it’s better than stock
Sounds OK but not great. It’s just not possible with a V6
Fellas. The Eco is a great torque motor. But please let’s stop with the exhausts. Literally sounds like a turd pro Tacoma
