I’m a 4th generation. Left when I was 40. That was 30 years ago! Never disfellowshipped, but shunned, only because I left.. which was the BEST thing I ever did!! I don’t even recognize the religion anymore!! Definitely trying to rebrand themselves in order to keep their funding!! I never thought I would see these kinds of changes in my life time. Then my mom the LIAR told everyone I ran away as I was running from friends couch to couch and wasn’t able to finish school because I told the elders the truth that I didn’t want to be baptized that my mom was forcing me so they told her they wouldn’t go any further with me
According to their usual line of "reasoning", it would be claimed it is because it makes you a "danger to their spirituality and standing with Jehovah", as it means "you are of the world" making you "a bad influence". And the chance that it leads you to become a "apostate" furthers their insistence to distance and shun you, even if you are still a minor. In reality, all it makes you is a heretic, which is what they deem "apostasy". It definitely doesn't help when you experience that kind of treatment at that age, then suddenly they switch it up and still effectively manipulate and gaslight you with "friendship" and "support" if you come back, and they allow for you to be invited to meetings and be said hello to (but still no other social interactions or association). I'm so sorry you had to go through that, and I encourage you to seek therapy for it. It really is becoming a huge aid for those of us who were born into it, and/or were a part of it, even if we never got baptized. I touched on this in my follow up to this video, as I felt it was important to do, and give the information that there is so many of us now that have gone into therapy that they are working to develop a specialized form of therapy specifically for those of us who were a part of high-control groups and cults like JWs and Mormons. Oh, they're preparing to allowing birthdays and probably various holidays, too. Christmas will definitely be a tougher one for them to reason allowing, but since they're so focused on swapping to mainstream Christianity now, don't be surprised if they allow it too. The ever growing large group of genuinely understand, caring, compassionate Ex-JW communities ("apostates") and how much more recognized and public they're becoming I feel likely will cause even more that originally would have never dared consider leaving to decide to leave, seeing and realizing that there really is a lot of supportive, caring people out there who will be happy to take them in and give them the space and help they need that the cult always demands doesn't exist. And I sincerely believe that with that, will come a hell of a lot more locked-in/devout JWs beginning to watch and comment on ex-JW and JW watchdog videos and channels with slander and various other negative things out of disdain, which will prove how bad their implosion has got by then. That's one of the last things that happens before the implosion of groups completes and the finale to the collapse happens. Looking at corporations and companies who've experienced similar situations and still went completely under ironically matches PERFECTLY to the current situations and status of the Governing Body & JWs as a whole. They're collapsing uncontrollably, the truth about them is inevitable on a global scale, and they know it, so they in a panic desperately attempt many changes, and total restructuring and rebranding in order to attempt to stop the inevitable death of their company/group/cult/religion/organization.
The Orwellian thinking / teachings of the JW mind: (example) If the "organization" or group is expanding and doing well it is said that it is proof that Jehovah is blessing "his organization". If the opposite is happening, if the numbers are going down and the WBTS is losing court cases and religious standing in several countries then they say "See? We were warned in the Bible that Jehovah's true servants would be persecuted in the last days. More proof that we are in the right religion."

There is a great demand for information and testimony about Watchtower worship. It's incredible how many views there are on EXJW videos. Your video proves it. You should continue on this promising path. Today, more and more of us are leaving this cult out of conviction. In five years, more than a million JWs have already left this American society, which is why today EXJW global activism has become the most active, numerous and dynamic "religious" dissidence in the world . As more and more JW PIMO tells me: “It’s increasingly rare to see a new face in a kingdom hall.” Most of the new baptisms are people born into this apocalyptic cult. The more time moves us away from 1914, the more this cult will decompose from the inside like any dying organism. Today the end of this cult is before us.
Thank you for the kinda words. It certainly is the end times for them, which is rather ironic and funny. That said, I may end up making another video or two at some point on the topic, but I won't be turning my focus on it. At most I might however shift to more of a focus on these commentary style videos from the more game related ones, but I'll still be maintaining the combo no matter what. Most of my videos in this style blow up like this one has.
Jehovah's Witnesses have stopped appearing at my door ever since this Covid-19 business began. During this time, however, JW's have called me on the phone four or five times to preach their message.
I'd recommend doing what you can to get your phone carrier to make your number private, or at least use a service that will wipe your personal info like that from the record. And then block those numbers, as that puts yourself on a do not call list that you control.
Was weird for me to find out they'd gone so digitized. I mean if you're worried about the end of the world you'd think you would want to actually know your Bible. You aren't going to charge your phone up in the middle of Armageddon.

When you're in it for so long, and everyone you're around is too, it can be difficult to notice reality and see what it really is, being a cult. It's always so good to hear of those who got out and realized it. Your kids we're smart, and so was your first boyfriend! My siblings and I have a tradition when we pass Kingdom Halls, which is to flip them off haha. I do this while driving all the time to and from my brother's place. I always make sure to start it right as it comes into view, then slowly rotating my bird until I've completely rounded the curve past it. It is quite satisfying as simple as it is 😆. Perhaps you could erect a thoughtful sign with a fun message and point it across the street to face the hall. Just a little something for them all to move into a little space in their heads rent free 😂

I left at 14 after being a pioneer and baptized at 12. My solution for the work/any witneses is simply talk back. Speech goes both ways, and per their own propaganda, they are not to interact with apostates. Point out "apostate" arguments and watch how quickly it shuts them up. What they gping to do? I don't have enough audacity to directly fuck with them like that, but I certainly am quick to inform them that I was born & raised in a JW family, most of them are still in and I left proudly long ago and am a atheist. If they ask anything along the lines of "what made you leave", "Long list of reasons, and a all around very negative experience." That usually makes them shut up and just comfortable enough to leave and not return. I've always considered just standing there within view as they knock and look at me, and just pretending they're not there, or better yet, smiling and waving while continuing to ignore them like I did over a decade ago to a Comcast salesperson haha. I think they're losing alot of memebers because there is finally resources and communities of xjw for those wanting to leave where as before it was very difficult to know what was next. It is still challenging for people to leave their families but knowing you have a support network makes it much easier to leave safely. Edit: maybe a name change is an attempt to distance themselves from all the xJW content online so it becomes more convoluted and difficult for questioning members so seek outside sources of information

the name JW'S use is was created by a Jesuit Priest, for the church of England , which is of Anglican faith. The King of England broke away from the Catholic Church because the church would not grant him a divorce, thus the Anglican faith, and KJB was born. The KJV uses very different language than the other bibles, Jehovah being one of them, as well as Jonah and the Whale, is also very unique to the KJV since whales never existed around the land of Israel, and were common off the shores of England. This is exactly how J.W's would have been formed. Some idiot, who couldn't understand basic English, reads the KJB and discovers the word "Jehovah" in it. Because he's an idiot, he believes that he has discovered the name of God, which no one uses. This created a religion that is in error right from its origin, yet believes that the other religions are in error, which in fact, is the opposite. There's are major problems with giving God a name, and is why stupid cults are formed. Jesus, himself can have a name, because though god, was also human.

My then husband while out witnessing was told, "Get of my steps or I will kick you of" My then husbands reply was, "Do that and I will break your leg" Well that went well, then they parted. He didn't stay a JW for long. Neither did our marriage last long. But it still make me laugh.
I love that attitude haha. I'd wager that definitely played a part in him not being a JW long. Attitude to match which he wasn't afraid to dish out? Definitely something elders/GB would HATE because "it hurts the image of the organization", because appearance matters more than actual belief ironically to them.
I wish I knew, and wish I knew some quality resources or people with such experiences to help you out. I believe I've heard referenced some videos on Lloyd Evan's channel where he spoke with some folks who've encountered this very situation themselves, so that may be a good place to start.
Somebody should write a book about the history of American Christian cults and why they became so powerful. Sigmund Freud would've had a field day with this lot. What is it about the American psyche, particularly the WHITE American psyche, that is drawn to these warped sects like moths to a flame ? It must be part of the American pioneer myth that started with the Pilgrim Fathers etc. The quest for "The New World" in a physical sense, was also a kind of religious quest for a spiritual identity. Something like that.
I think generally it is that those that do find themselves joining them are desperate people who have a lot of insecurities, especially when it comes to death and what happens after life. And for those that fall into the JW/Mormon type groups, because they both "solve" that with "paradise", even if it is their own versions. I mean, who the hell wouldn't want to live in a paradise? And most people would adore living forever in that kind of world. (I certainly would HATE living forever haha). It preys on the most primal, natural concerns, fears & idyllic scenarios & desires of humanity in order to ensure they can convince & bring into the folds the most vulnerable, desperate & gullible people. I don't think almost anybody would deny a idyllic paradise would be awesome. Being able to hug, cuddle, ride and sleep with a freaking tiger would be so epic. Insert other scenario here like that one that is all but impossible now. It's basic human psychology they use in order to ensure they get new members/believers, as well as to retain them by weaponizing the most common, basic insecurities and fears most people have. All religions, cults, governments, etc use this all the time. But I digress.
Well I think you will find that you cant push your religious beliefs at work when you are paid to do your work and not waste your employers time and money and your time talking to someone when you should be working.

Maybe, but technically from my understanding I believe federally there is just that, effectively a "deadline" for how long it is allowed to be before filing a lawsuit against a abuser. Though it looks like the states are then allowed to determine their own "deadlines" and if they want to give a way around them or dismiss them entirely. And of course I believe that is why Louisiana and Utah have chosen to say it's "unconstitutional" to allow for victims to seek their justice. Of course, given how much power, money & influence the LDS have over Utah's government, there is no doubt that it is why the state supreme court ruled in their favor to make it unlawful to prosecute, and same for the Catholic Church in Louisiana. The money, power & influence absolutely plays a strong role in these kinds of decisions.

I understand and know fully there is a minority of people out there who are very turned away and despise any "profanity". It's a part of who I am and how I naturally speak, especially when speaking with emphasis. I learned to not care anymore if I "cussed" or not about 2015 or so. I realized that teaching to never do that (ironically from the JWs) was really limiting and in fact INCREDIBLY freeing for me. I also ceased policing my own speech. My intent is always to express myself naturally and fully, and not be concerned about people who will inevitably dislike me or what I am saying because of things like that. According to their usual line of "reasoning", it would be claimed it is because it makes you a "danger to their spirituality and standing with Jehovah", as it means "you are of the world" making you "a bad influence". And the chance that it leads you to become a "apostate" furthers their insistence to distance and shun you, even if you are still a minor.
In reality, all it makes you is a heretic, which is what they deem "apostasy".
It definitely doesn't help when you experience that kind of treatment at that age, then suddenly they switch it up and still effectively manipulate and gaslight you with "friendship" and "support" if you come back, and they allow for you to be invited to meetings and be said hello to (but still no other social interactions or association).
I'm so sorry you had to go through that, and I encourage you to seek therapy for it. It really is becoming a huge aid for those of us who were born into it, and/or were a part of it, even if we never got baptized. I touched on this in my follow up to this video, as I felt it was important to do, and give the information that there is so many of us now that have gone into therapy that they are working to develop a specialized form of therapy specifically for those of us who were a part of high-control groups and cults like JWs and Mormons.

The ever growing large group of genuinely understand, caring, compassionate Ex-JW communities ("apostates") and how much more recognized and public they're becoming I feel likely will cause even more that originally would have never dared consider leaving to decide to leave, seeing and realizing that there really is a lot of supportive, caring people out there who will be happy to take them in and give them the space and help they need that the cult always demands doesn't exist. And I sincerely believe that with that, will come a hell of a lot more locked-in/devout JWs beginning to watch and comment on ex-JW and JW watchdog videos and channels with slander and various other negative things out of disdain, which will prove how bad their implosion has got by then. That's one of the last things that happens before the implosion of groups completes and the finale to the collapse happens.
Looking at corporations and companies who've experienced similar situations and still went completely under ironically matches PERFECTLY to the current situations and status of the Governing Body & JWs as a whole. They're collapsing uncontrollably, the truth about them is inevitable on a global scale, and they know it, so they in a panic desperately attempt many changes, and total restructuring and rebranding in order to attempt to stop the inevitable death of their company/group/cult/religion/organization.

That said, I may end up making another video or two at some point on the topic, but I won't be turning my focus on it. At most I might however shift to more of a focus on these commentary style videos from the more game related ones, but I'll still be maintaining the combo no matter what. Most of my videos in this style blow up like this one has.
Jehovah's Witnesses have stopped appearing at my door ever since this Covid-19 business began. During this time, however, JW's have called me on the phone four or five times to preach their message.
I'd recommend doing what you can to get your phone carrier to make your number private, or at least use a service that will wipe your personal info like that from the record. And then block those numbers, as that puts yourself on a do not call list that you control.
Was weird for me to find out they'd gone so digitized. I mean if you're worried about the end of the world you'd think you would want to actually know your Bible. You aren't going to charge your phone up in the middle of Armageddon.

My siblings and I have a tradition when we pass Kingdom Halls, which is to flip them off haha. I do this while driving all the time to and from my brother's place. I always make sure to start it right as it comes into view, then slowly rotating my bird until I've completely rounded the curve past it. It is quite satisfying as simple as it is 😆.
Perhaps you could erect a thoughtful sign with a fun message and point it across the street to face the hall. Just a little something for them all to move into a little space in their heads rent free 😂

I don't have enough audacity to directly fuck with them like that, but I certainly am quick to inform them that I was born & raised in a JW family, most of them are still in and I left proudly long ago and am a atheist. If they ask anything along the lines of "what made you leave", "Long list of reasons, and a all around very negative experience." That usually makes them shut up and just comfortable enough to leave and not return.
I've always considered just standing there within view as they knock and look at me, and just pretending they're not there, or better yet, smiling and waving while continuing to ignore them like I did over a decade ago to a Comcast salesperson haha. That really pisses sales people off.

I think they're losing alot of memebers because there is finally resources and communities of xjw for those wanting to leave where as before it was very difficult to know what was next. It is still challenging for people to leave their families but knowing you have a support network makes it much easier to leave safely.
Edit: maybe a name change is an attempt to distance themselves from all the xJW content online so it becomes more convoluted and difficult for questioning members so seek outside sources of information

The King of England broke away from the Catholic Church because the church would not grant him a divorce, thus the Anglican faith, and KJB was born. The KJV uses very different language than the other bibles, Jehovah being one of them, as well as Jonah and the Whale, is also very unique to the KJV since whales never existed around the land of Israel, and were common off the shores of England. This is exactly how J.W's would have been formed. Some idiot, who couldn't understand basic English, reads the KJB and discovers the word "Jehovah" in it. Because he's an idiot, he believes that he has discovered the name of God, which no one uses. This created a religion that is in error right from its origin, yet believes that the other religions are in error, which in fact, is the opposite. There's are major problems with giving God a name, and is why stupid cults are formed. Jesus, himself can have a name, because though god, was also human.

My then husband while out witnessing was told, "Get of my steps or I will kick you of" My then husbands reply was, "Do that and I will break your leg" Well that went well, then they parted. He didn't stay a JW for long. Neither did our marriage last long. But it still make me laugh.

Somebody should write a book about the history of American Christian cults and why they became so powerful. Sigmund Freud would've had a field day with this lot. What is it about the American psyche, particularly the WHITE American psyche, that is drawn to these warped sects like moths to a flame ? It must be part of the American pioneer myth that started with the Pilgrim Fathers etc. The quest for "The New World" in a physical sense, was also a kind of religious quest for a spiritual identity. I think generally it is that those that do find themselves joining them are desperate people who have a lot of insecurities, especially when it comes to death and what happens after life.
And for those that fall into the JW/Mormon type groups, because they both "solve" that with "paradise", even if it is their own versions. I mean, who the hell wouldn't want to live in a paradise? And most people would adore living forever in that kind of world. (I certainly would HATE living forever haha). It preys on the most primal, natural concerns, fears & idyllic scenarios & desires of humanity in order to ensure they can convince & bring into the folds the most vulnerable, desperate & gullible people.
I don't think almost anybody would deny a idyllic paradise would be awesome. Being able to hug, cuddle, ride and sleep with a freaking tiger would be so epic. Insert other scenario here like that one that is all but impossible now. It's basic human psychology they use in order to ensure they get new members/believers, as well as to retain them by weaponizing the most common, basic insecurities and fears most people have. All religions, cults, governments, etc use this all the time.

Maybe, but technically from my understanding I believe federally there is just that, effectively a "deadline" for how long it is allowed to be before filing a lawsuit against a abuser. Though it looks like the states are then allowed to determine their own "deadlines" and if they want to give a way around them or dismiss them entirely. And of course I believe that is why Louisiana and Utah have chosen to say it's "unconstitutional" to allow for victims to seek their justice.
Of course, given how much power, money & influence the LDS have over Utah's government, there is no doubt that it is why the state supreme court ruled in their favor to make it unlawful to prosecute, and same for the Catholic Church in Louisiana. The money, power & influence absolutely plays a strong role in these kinds of decisions.

That's not how anything works, certainly not life. Yeah, sometimes there absolutely is positives to even the most egregiously henious groups, nations and peoples, but it is never a guarantee there is any positives either. To assume such is to convey one's ignorance to reality.
And as I already noted to you, I have a video where I do in fact say something positive, which is my latest JW video. Your refusal to give it any chances because of this ONE video proves to me it is YOU who is preventing yourself from being honest let alone gaining full context to what people say, using extrapolations of statements someone makes in one post, or one video and insistent it encompasses the ENTIRE PERSON. And again - that's illogical and never once how anything, certainly not life, works.

I even pointed something positive on Twitter today after your comment due to one of the trending things today. It's ironic. Will I give you the satisfaction of me just handing you something positive? Absolutely not. I am very petty that way. I'm very rarely petty, but when people act and speak like you do, I become VERY petty immediately. I will always go hard opposite in such situations.

I understand and know fully there is a minority of people out there who are very turned away and despise any "profanity". It's a part of who I am and how I naturally speak, especially when speaking with emphasis. I learned to not care anymore if I "cussed" or not about 2015 or so. I realized that teaching to never do that (ironically from the JWs) was really limiting and in fact INCREDIBLY freeing for me. I also ceased policing my own speech.
My intent is always to express myself naturally and fully, and not be concerned about people who will inevitably dislike me or what I am saying because of things like that. It's the intent that matters, not the words.
