Hadi Ghaemi Opens International Roundtable, DePauw Univ. 6-10-22

Hadi Ghaemi, Director of Center for Human Rights in Iran, opens the International Roundtable, for a summer session class, “Fighting the Power: Global Movements for Social Justice,” taught by Professor Alessandro Morosin of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at DePauw University.
"Hadi Ghaemi has published extensively and spoken publicly often on the brutal treatment of Iran’s political prisoners . Hadi Ghaemi will focus his presentation on the current uprising, the social movements going on in Iran, and the repression against dissidents and activists, A=and the absence of the rule of law under this regime, especially exemplified by the imprisonment of defense lawyers in the country."
