The Emergency Campaign to Free Iran’s Political Prisoners was inspired by and formed in solidarity with the Call for unity from supporters, friends, and families of Iran’s political prisoners and the “Burn the Cage, Free the Birds” movement in Europe to free Iran’s political prisoners (@burn_the_cage on Instagram). It builds off a Statement by Carol Downer and Dolly Veale in late 2020 and is mainly based among, and directed to, people in the U.S. to stand with resisters in Iran.
We are initiating a new phase of the campaign to Free Iran's Political Prisoners with the EMERGENCY APPEAL and a website to escalate this global struggle. Our mission and goals are spelled out in this Emergency Appeal, and we encourage all who share these concerns and objectives to join with us.

Look carefully, these people are operating inside the Iran border and under all the eyes of security and government pressure and suppression.
This is the clear desire of the people:
"The unconditional freedom of the son of Iran"
You can't take one of our dear ones to slaughter when your rope is empty around your neck.
And Toomaj was so [of the] people and for the people,
That if their wishes, which is his freedom, is not taken into consideration.
These activities will move from the city walls and doors to the street and in front of you.
That's a straightforward warning."...
