You can tell why he’s called Glamourdale
Yep
Almost reminds me of Velagro and Charlotte Dejardin...beautiful.

@sandralogue except they haven't kept up his standards, they've overworked him already and his movement now is half of what it was in that video, especially with his hind legs. There is little elevation as of recent competitions he has been in
Perfect song. He’s keeping to the beat. Absolutely gorgeous horse.
Да
Ok
He’s told to. Watch her heels and spurs.
And watch her use ROLLKUR
We can only hope to God that this and the other horses are treated with love and respect. So much abuse of horses in dressage, racing etc. There needs to be more oversight of these animals at great risk of abuse.
Stunning, the amount of training and things to be done to keep this horse healthy and in shape are unreal. Congratulations to the team.
The horse is suffering in that position, it’s an extremely cruel way to ride an horse

Was I the only one singing… ‘ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!!!!! 🪩💃’
Nope me to!
Same here
Nope…I wish the clip was longer….
I was singing it, and my barrel horse was looking at me like 'why would you want to bite dust??'
Nope 😊
Look at that beautiful dressage movement with the legs!! These two are absolutely incredible. Very beautiful horse and what a smooth gate with the leg movements. Very impressive young lady and well done!!
I've been trying to work on learing signs of abuse like being under the bit, rolkur, and body language, etc. and I've been using my unmounted lessons for that and it seems like the horse is pretty good, but I'd love some input :) maybe it's under the bit? I just like to learn so I'm not asking questions like this all of the time, haha😅 sorry for the big rant, lol❤
@Susan-jg2gg Why do you suspect abuse? That's a negative way to view intense, loving training and rewards and talent.
Beautiful! Notice how the horse responds to the very subtle commands of the rider. Takes talent of the horse & tons of practice.
This is a ball room dancing horse.
@@karenshelmboldt9716So true‼️. But always negative comments like that, will come.
Everytime 🤡
@@Susan-jg2ggyou can hear the grinding teeth during this performance, the horse is very obviously suffering
Are we not going to talk about out the rhythm of the horse's hooves hitting the ground was perfectly in sync with the beat of 'Another One Bites The Dust'??
Fr
The music is slowed or sped up to match a horses rhythm.
Would love to see this on Bareback, with only halter, Rider in tennis shoes, maybe a helmet, jeans n Tshirt!!! Theres my Challenge to these Horse folks!
No If you look it up the horse actually goes in rhythm with the song.
she is doing a freestyle where she chose this song to match the horses beat! its amazing isnt it?
Now that's one black beauty what a beautiful horse and look what you can teach them they're so smart!
This is not “beautiful”. Most modern day Dressage is pure abuse. The foaming at his mouth indicates he can’t breathe, and his nose is to his chest. That is called Rollkur, and it can cut off circulation to the tongue and cause breathing issues. The FEI lets abuse and abusive riders slide. This is not okay. What you see here is pure horse abuse.
@@Calypso3011 I'm so sorry I had no idea I just have taken a liking to horses lately and this just the way they look and they prance is so beautiful and I am very sorry I had no clue

The tail is PERFECTLY STILL!

Every horses‘ dream to train for and participate in these shows! They also know that sometimes LDR/Rollkur is needed in order to win but that’s okay because which horse doesn’t want to win? Amazing 🎉
I'm pretty sure, horses couldn't care less... the only one who wants to win these competitions is the human ego. Just saying.

Amazing. How does he breathe?
I believe he doesn't breathe naturally at all. How long did it take to bend his neck like that? I'd like to see a picture of him as a foal.
Like normal, maybe a little different but I think it feels like if your in the middle of a sprint depending on how far in they are in the routine (Not sure so you might have to do your own research if you want to know)

I LOVE CHARLOTTE FRY AND GLAMOURDALE
Fun fact. Dressage is based off of movements they trained horses to do in wars to be less easily hit by the enemy
sort of, it has to do with sword fighting so the hands were free.
3 Day eventing is how military selected their calvary units, greenhorn.
Dressage demonstrates the horse & rider are a team. Cross-Country was speed & stamina, Show Jumping was strength.
Absolutely no engagement of the hind end. Just snap snap snap
True.
What a beautiful horse.
SO PRETTY

Before all think this is magic, the music is customized for the horse within a range that sounds natural to us.
I just realized the horse's bottom lip-
Head a little behind the vertical makes breathing difficult. I didn't think that was allowed in the dressage ring.
@@NancyTripp-os3of wdym you didn’t know, rollkur was the standard 15 years ago and we’re only slowly getting rid of it
@@NancyTripp-os3ofagree. This is sad to see as a norm. behind the 5th vertebrae, gorgeous. above it...tight, confined, sad to see. DO BETTER FEI DRESSAGE!

Ooh so elegant. I could watch this all day.Thankyou for sharing ❤
What a beautiful horse and performance, and I am not a horse lover
Simply amazing- every time ❤🎉such a beautiful watch!
This is not dressage. This is mostly abuse. The FEI lets abuse slide, and welcomes abusive riders such as Charlotte (she was seen whipping a horse 24-25 times in less then a minute). These guys let abuse slide. Everdale had a blue tongue (that means the reins were so tight that the tongue lost circulation) and in this arena, the judges let stuff like that and rollkur slide. Modern dressage is disgusting
the abuse behind all of this is crazy-
Awesome horse. ❤❤❤❤
This horse is clearly in pain. His neck is bent at an unnatural angle which obstructs his breathing, that's which he's foaming and spitting. This is not a happy horse.

the horse is ✨ STUNNING ✨❤
Thats one gorgeous horse 🤩
Her Knees are very tight in the Saddle and she pokes with her Spurs the whole time. At some point in time, as is with every horse, this will come back and bite her. It is simply the difference between DuJardin and Von Bredow-Werndel. A quiet harmonious seat.
Yes ,the long spurs are touching both sides to the rapid beat of the music. Spurs ,even rounded end ones still sting the any horses sensitive sides ,should be BANNED !
Yes, the horse is very very beautiful, but, her riding is not perfect. People who do not know about Horses and the Welfare of them, have no clue about the suttle Cruelty going on right in front of them, sad for these beautiful horses ,!.😢😮😢😊
While many spurs are abusive, all equipment can be abusive if used wrong. Rounded spurs do not hurt the horse, and are used as a light touch, not a hard poke that hurts. In dressage, riders use spurs as a different cue from leg pressure. Think of it like the spurs are just another “button” which cause a different motion in the horse. Her riding isn’t perfect, but it is still very good, and certainly on Olympic level. Lottie Fry and Glamourdale are an amazing partnership, and there is no cruelty in this video at all. The horse is perfectly on beat, well muscled, and capable.
And what horse told someone that they were not being hurt??? This is no different than Big Lick!
Yall are people that dont even know how spurs work. Spurs are made to roll this is why they spin. You dont gouge a horse you roll the spur up the belly. People with zero horse knowledge cant give horse knowledge just stupid comments!
