Just a tip, the car with the dead battery must put the blackwire on the chassis, not the battery itself, otherwise you risk frying the ecu

With the new battery… put on a battery cut off switch. Will save you money in the long run. I’m a long haul trucker and I have one on my 2019 Silverado so my battery is good to go after sitting for a month or so in between starts
I live in VA and I sold my modified 2013 Scion TC. The dealership actually wanted to pay me a LOWER value because I modded the car... They kept saying "This is a modified exhaust" or "This is a modified body kit"... They even went as low as to use the excuse that I changed the Head Lights and Tail Lights from OEM to the SPEC-D Tuning Black out LED lights. Hopefully in your case, its different.

Exactly⚡ A good basic trickle charger is often less money than a new battery. At least, it's clearly cheaper to buy a charger compared to several batteries in a year 😊

you should get the lithium 12v batteries, some of them have a jumpstart function if you are low on power. just press a button on the battery, or even have a remote on your keychain you can press

With the right buyer and someone who understands the mods and the value of the already, you could come away breaking even.i would always start with the Kelly Blue book without the mods and go from there.
Unless you're selling to another car person, those mods are normally overlooked by dealerships and don't do anything to bring the price upward. I'm almost certain that they'll try to give you below book value for your vehicle because of the mods! Every vehicle that I have more than $10-$15K worth of mods, is a keeper. I have two such modded vehicles at the moment. My third has just under $4K in mods. I'm fully aware that I'll never get a ROI if I choose to sell them, so I just enjoy them and let it be!

my dad still daily drives his 1968 gto and it have 2 batterys in in and it still goose dead now and then the struggle of the battery life is real lol xD
Just a note for people with cars, place a kill switch on the terminal on the car battery that you don't drive as often, if you keep jumping the dead batteries your alternator will fail out and will not charge, which in turn is more money.
Check the alternator aswell it drains the battery when the alternator is not working

In my experiences with modified cats & trucks, it's hit n miss. Depends on a lot of different situations like what type of vehicle, value of vehicle ,demand for vehicle and finding the right buyer. I've spent upwards of $75k on custom show/club trucks(suspension, etc) I've seen both good and the bad when it comes in investing time and money on a vehicle.
One of your best videos yet. You need to add the fact that a well-known RUclips influencer is the seller should add some market value. I think you're between 80 and 95k

I guess it all depends what modifications are done and how much it costs. To be honest, the Hellcat looked better before the widebody kit was installed, but that is just my opinion.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t the Batteries is in the trunk for a charger and challenger. The front should only be the power distribution block.
I think the next Challenger upgrade needs to be a nice big chrome blower sticking out of the hood.. ya know to complement the chrome rims.. if it matches it’s justified right? 😂🤣

I would guess you could get maybe 60-65k for it, Sadly Mods don't increase the price in the Mopar world unless its a Viper.
why would it cost $600 to install that exhaust system? Genuine question, but that seems wild - I figure I'm missing something about the logistics of installing one on that car?
Depending on finding the right buyer in Europe the Dodge would be roughly 80-90 k€ =~86-97 k$.
+Investing the price of a battery to a trickle charger will save you from buying several new batteries in a year ❤
Surefire way to tank resale value is modding a car. A stock hellcat will always be more desirable than say the one in this video that's been hacked to accomodate a widebody and air ride
A youtuber selling a modified car is not the same as random guy selling a modified car. You just need to find someone who likes the look and is a fan. Then it will bring good money. Plus, your mods are things that don't really effect reliability. That's the biggest issue with buying someone else's modified car. You don't know if the work was done right, which could leave you with a broken car. Cosmetic mods don't really do that.

Driving with a bad battery causes extra wear on the alternator. I've seen a simple battery replacement turn into also needing an alternator. Just saying.
You need to invest in a smart charger/chargers, just plug in when parked. I use optimate 6/6 gold or Ctek smart charger. Maybe they can sponsor you !? again all the way from South Africa

Worth it? Financially absolutely not. For enjoyment of our hobby it's absolutely worth it. Although it might not be if I ever tally up what I have spent on car parts over the years. Without any histrionics I suspect I could have supported a fairly heavy coke habit for 20 years and have more money in the bank.
Caveat: I don't know how much coke costs other than what you see in the papers and I don't know what would be considered a heavy habit so this whole comparison was pointless. I am committed to it now though so it's staying.
Mods only increase the "value" to the current owner. To others a virgin bride is always worth more than someone else's ex.
